Could be, I’m just drawing comparisons here for conversation sake, maybe there’s something to learn here. Just seems form my POV men struggle in specific situations when it comes to moving on and rebuilding their lives and I wonder why that is. I don’t doubt there’s things I’m not seeing on the side of women. I completely agree that it boils down to belief system. I wonder why so many men have self sabotaging beliefs when it comes to dating. I’m only speaking from experience here. When my ex and I broke up I could see there were a lot of men in our larger social circle who were interested in having sex with her and flirting because she is a beautiful young social woman. Now does that mean these men will lead to commitment or being what she wants in a partner? Perhaps not. So maybe I’m seeing something she doesn’t value or care about. Like you said you make a good point. Just because women are getting all this attention , like they have a pick from the buffet doesn’t mean they will find what they want or will enjoy. I do think having all these options though does help a lot of women see more opportunities in life. I think men will be very social isolated and not see as many opportunities due to their limiting beliefs so they will choose to become very socially isolated and that’s very damaging. Women seem much better at social support circles and relating to other people. I can speak from experience I have to push myself a bit to really stay social and keep that area of my life healthy while I know a lot of women that is effortless for them. Not saying I’m a victim or anything just it’s interesting these differences.

I disagree. It is impossible to compare your spirituality to anyone else. Do not fall into this guru trap. Sahdguru is just a guy teaching spirituality and if it helps you, I'm happy for you. But don't fall into this trap. It's impossible to be "more enlightened" than anyone else.

I’ve realized at the core of my problem is basically these 2 beliefs 1) Without this person in my life I am unlovable, lacking value and unable able to cope in life 2) I do not want to accept and embrace uncertainty and change in life These two beliefs I hold keep this issue from being entirely resolved and closing the door 100% They also tie back to the Bible verse you quoted since the two beliefs I stated in essence are basically the core issues for most people in life, believing they are lacking value for a reason outside themselves and not accepting uncertainty and change I think it’s eye opening to write this

There’s this one girl. Well, she’s not just a random girl to me but my ex gf and we were together from summer 2021 to spring 2024. I’ve done a ton of growth in terms of accepting things have ended between us but damn this still is the one thing in my life I need to really keep myself accountable with and support myself through. We were in a sort of situation-ship after breaking up and up until this week. This relationship has meant so much to me and she’s been family. We lived together over two years. Letting her go and moving on has single handedly been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life. Can anyone relate? I hope one day this will be just another chapter in my life and my mind will be at peace about it.

This is childish and my post was as well. I'm bringing out a pretty immature side of myself since this election and I don't like it. These women are free to do as they wish. I literally do not care what they do and I think it's ridiculous what some of them are saying, just as I think the men going their own way movement is a "blame the other side" copout.

Enlightenment is a word and a belief. No words can be put on your spirituality in reality. It’s unique to you. I would say look to live your life with truth, honesty and integrity and you will know god this way daily.

I think you need to have a caring discussion with yourself about comparisons and why you choose to compare yourself to other people. Do you believe you have innate and true spiritual value that cannot be given or taken away?

Physically attractive women generally speaking don’t give a shit about feminism or politics. I saw videos on my feed made by the women making these posts and they can keep those doors closed men in the USA ain’t missing out on nothing with them.

I’ve been saying this here the entire election cycle. The party has a huge issue with being entirely unappealing to young men. This is the same political force that downplays masculinity, tries to make men more effeminate but claims it’s called being compassionate, actively works against traditional values which many men value. I actively feel alienated and unwelcome by my own party. Not everything has to be about diversity. Green has gone too far on the messaging and culture side of things. I really think a lot of it comes down to lgbtq, feminism and the gender stuff. The party decided to run with radical inclusivity takes on this stuff instead of finding a message that suits everyone. This is why 15 million people including me sat out.

I was building upon the conversation and adding another point of view on the wording and the potential problems when adopting language like “reality is all mental.” It wasn’t specifically targeted at just you. How would you even measure spiritual development? I’m not sure I subscribe to this notion of being more spiritually developed than another person. Your spirituality is unique to you. I agree comparisons can be made but this notion is so radically open for interpretation that I’ve personally not found it as a helpful way to look at this subject.

I have this so minor that the doctors told me there wasn’t any point to do the procedure. I experience little to no abnormal pain there. I will say that wearing supportive underwear helps a lot if I’m on my feet for like 8 hours straight.

You don’t have anything else to focus on but loving yourself and staying connected to oneness and then striving and doing your best and learning from your mistakes. Don’t go into all this future thinking and whatnot. Just go and focus on the moment, focus on deconstruction of these limiting beliefs, and you will create a beautiful life for yourself.

Goes to show just how wild perspectives and perceptions of reality can get. Ultimately it is impossible for everyone to come to a total unified consensus on these beliefs. While I do agree that physical reality is magic and not what we would perhaps label as this non sentient monolith that exists apart from consciousness, at least from my experience, I would not reduce it down to the word “mental.” You will be brought back down to reality if you do not respect the physical and treat it as any less spiritual than any non physical states you’ve been in. Through hardships and your body you will get to know the physical and if you neglect reality like this.

By the word “corrupt” here we basically are describing when people say they believe and live by one set of values they believe are honest and for the greater good but then not living by them, doing the opposite behind closed doors. So saying you are for unions and equal working rights then doing everything in your power to limit worker rights would therefor be corruption. The problem is most people have a scarcity based, externalized value belief system running their shit, which will naturally lead to union busting corruption by leftists when it comes down to their survival, because all the shit they have have been preaching are just ideals. And since survival conditions can be quite hard sometimes and doesn’t care about ideals they have to betray the ideals they yap and supposedly live by because they aren’t actually grounded in truth, an abundance based, internal value system.
