Someone here replied to Never_give_up's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It can't be explained..gotten ..grasped ..understood ..derived..deduced or anything else . It hits you in a fraction of a second . You already know what is the Truth. Go look into your face in the mirror at 3 AM until something happens. And once it happens you will understand that nobody gets it. -
@UnbornTao this gets us inevitably to epistemology . Your answers are always about how to answer without actually answering. 😅 So let me know what epistemological system you adhere to ..you either gravitate to subjectivism where you believe that everyone should have their own answers to the metaphysical questions or nihilism where they believe that there's no answer or meaning to all of this. most ordinary and uneducated people have given up on the hard questions of life. But I don't. That's why I make tons of threads wondering about existence. People don't get the profundity of the mystery of existence. Look at your fucking hands ..you fucking EXIST!🤣 Do you think we will one day get the true answers to the metaphysical questions? But more importantly..There's two ways of thinking about this. The first similar the kind of subjectivism wherein there is no intrinsic meaning to anything and our understandings of our world are ultimately different interpretations. The second is that there is a capital-T truth out there lying in wait ready for someone to come along to discover it. Which view do you subscribe to we might say ?

Have you watched Leo's episode about distinguishing lower vs higher perspectives? Science is definitely higher perspective than religion. They cannot be put side to side . There is no competition whatsoever. Science relies on evidence and objective facts ..whereas religion relies merely on faith and belief without a hair of evidence. There is no evidence that someone like Jesus or Muhammad even existed . And what's worse isn't just that there is no evidence for religious beliefs..but that there is evidence that religions are false as I said in OP about the contradictions between modern science and what you find inside the sacred texts of these religions. You are interested in Islam right ? Me too .go open up the quran ..it talks about how the sun sets in a hot pool or a gap in the max west..which also indicates that the author of quran believed that the earth was flat and its the center of the universe and other celestial objects are orbiting around it . My point is religion based on faith plus it contradicts science..whereas science relies on factual empirical evidence. How can you lean towards religion? Please help me understand. I also want to be religious but I'm struggling with making connections between science and religion. 1) what I mean by "existential comfort " is an ultimate final absolute answers to the big questions that you cannot sleep soundly without . Like who we are ?why are we here in this existence? What will happen when we die ?etc Religion does offer an answer to these questions. Science haven't yet . Science stops on the big bang .before that they have no clue. Whereas religion does give answers. For example the religion I'm interested in which is Islam says that God is eternal and he always existed ..he is uncreated..he created everything and everyone..we are here in a test for who will be a good human being and who will be a bad human being ..and based on your deeds in this world you will be judged after you die and either go to eternal heaven or eternal hell. But what is the evidence for that? ZERO. So ..science does not have an answer yet . And religion has an unjustified answer without evidence. You see the problem? 2) sure I agree . Religion discourages thinking and discovering while encouraging dogmas and blind faith. And that means science is higher perspective epistemologically than religion. So should we throw all these religions into the trash ? Is there any good these religions can do instead of giving existential comfort (which as I explained, science doesn't give )?

I also want a free high quality AI picture generator. All I've encountered on appstore so far are either premium (paid ) or low quality. If anyone knows or uses one please post a link here . Thanks .

Hi . I'm looking for two apps for android mobile . 1-I want the best free AI image generator app . The one that you input a text in it and it turns it into an artistic mesmerising image . 2-also I want the best online website for converting YouTube videos into mp4 or mp3 files . I watch a lot of interesting videos on YouTube and I want to save them to watch / listen to them while taking a walk offline . Thanks in advance !

Yes that's correct..science nowadays basically equals materialist paradigm. There is no god ..no afterlife ..no soul ..no eternity..you're just a collection of atoms and when you die you get lights out forever etc(which is even scarier than the worst religious hell if you asked me). Then again don't you see the problematic aspect of religion as well ? If science is reductionistic and materialistic then religion has the balls to make definitive claims about our origin and fate in existence with ZERO evidence? Are you God realized yourself? God is the absolute. It has no form ..shape ..location..time ..house ..body..limits ..etc that's why science says there is no god because it literally lies outside the scientific methodology which assumes that all that exists is the material universe.
-
I like this view ..then again how is it possible to reconcile the scientific errors within holy books with science? -did the universe came because of the big bang or by god saying "let there be light "? -did humans came directly from god and he put him on earth directly or were they evolving from neanderthals? You are saying they both should exist together. But how when they both make contradictory claims about existence?

Makes sense . But not all religious people are illiterate dumbasses.Albert Einstein was a Jew ..Isaac Newton was a Christian..and others ..I don't see correlation between level of intelligence and being religious..I myself am very intelligent (😅) yet I think I'm about to become a muslim ..even though I know extensively all the bad mouthing around this religion but it just appeals to me so much. And honestly I'm not God realized or as awake as someone like Leo in his absolute conviction that one is god . I mean this must be the ultimate truth which is inevitable to accept but its too much to stomach and too good to be true . Therefore I prefer to worship God instead of considering myself God. Reason is I appear limited and fragile.

@Davino Congratulations 🎊. You're a brilliant guy . I always thought to ask Leo to become a mod ..oh having your username painted green gives more authority and truth to your comments ...but then I thought about it more deeply ..Holy shit I have to read every single post on the entire forum and watch out for the edits cuz you never know maybe someone posted a porn picture etc ..and then I'm like nah I enjoy being a nobody .

Yes that's correct. But also given that existence is infinite this means once you go through infinite incarnations that are slightly different than the others by a nanosecond or a fraction like a single hair in your beard lacking lol 😂 that also you will repeat your current life infinite amounts of time .. And this isn't woo woo stuff that i believe..it is based on a well known theory in modern physics. That there are infinite parallel universes with all the possibility of your life What does this mean? Well..first of all it means you will be born at the same time and place as the last time. If you were a Aries last time.. you'll be an Aries again. Your genetic code will also be very similar. Once again..you will have the same general features .. brown hair.. green eyes.. a tendency to be healthy..or on the contrary..a tendency to be sick often.. and so on. Etc. You will also have the same mother.. father..brothers and sisters..etc. And once again you will live in the same city.. the same country.. with the same monuments.. history.. and general society. All the "big" things repeat. Why? Because the forces that caused these things are very "big"..and they will be around the next time to produce the same general effects. I watched that movie I highly recommend it . -

No but this quote is similar to the nultiverse theory .according to the multiverse model..all possible outcomes are actually realized not just possible. By definition they are possible. The point of this theory is that all possible outcomes are indeed realized in some so called "parallel universe". So yes im familiar with this concept but not sure if its the same as the multiverse theory .to this view..in these alleged "parallel universes" there are other versions of "me" . the "me" that could have been..or could be.. or could become..but not the "me" that actually was..is..or will be in this Universe. I also remember Leo talking about this concept in his infinity episode. -

You are not alone . There is some mysterious thing happening all over the world. There is a cosmic synchronicity happening. Everyone is having them. I believe the world is gaining more consciousness and spirituality is growing popular everywhere .there is a collective awakening happening. When you awaken everyone awakens with you. Since reality is your mind . -

The old testament is just a local biography of the jew. Also its filled with violence and myths . Nothing much to reap . Read the New testament. Especially the four gospels. Jesus's words are pure nuggets of gold and diamonds. -

@Hojo Interesting. Mostly I don't remember the dream . I just know that "wait a minute..I swear I saw this exact scene before ". some think it's just your unconscious saying hi pay attention to me. -
Someone here replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes that's true .I explained what a synchronicity is for people who have never seen them before in their lives but forgot to explain what a Deja Vu is . It's basically seeing a scene in your life that you are 100% sure you have seen it before but you don't know how . My theory is we see the initial scene in a dream and then the dream becomes reality. Honestly I'm not claiming to have full understanding of these phenomenon but they are a hint towards the fact that reality is interwoven with your mind or emanating from your mind .which makes it subjective rather than objective . -

I wish that you actually fully grasp what knowing nothing really Is. If you truly achieve not knowing you will be totally liberated and free and go dance naked under the rain of January. The proplem isn't that you know nothing ..the problem is you know but what you know is wrong. -

Was it on Salvia ? I've never taken a psychedelic before but all my dreams match the Salvia animation trip videos I see on YouTube so that's where I figured this insanity trap with . -
Someone here replied to emil1234's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
One of the biggest obstacles in this work is "fear of going insane" or losing your mind. But that's the biggest trap. You never had a Mind to lose. You can't go nuts cuz in a sense all states are equal. Trying to keep yourself "sane" if you are doing this work correctly is doomed to fail because "sanity" is a distinction or a limitation that you are trying to maintain but of course reality is groundless and unlimited. In other words insane. Not sane. -

@Breakingthewall dude I'm done with you .you win. Your spiritual dick is way bigger than mine . Have the last word ! Take care . -

Think of a dream . In a dream there's obviously something existing but only inside the context of the dream. Yet once you exit the dream it's crystal clear to you that nothing was there .the whole experience of a dream was nothing . Agree ? Now ..Unfortunately you only realize this after you wake up . Analogously..this experience that you call "real life " is nothing . awakening is to grasp this while you are still alive . Instead of waiting for this revelation to occur when you "die ".
