  1. The voice in your head won't shut up as long as those neurons are firing away all the time. As soon as you become conscious.. BOOM.. nervous system firing. The voice goes "bla bla bla". There is no off-switch to your mind. Even in meditation you can't stop thinking. It's just a brute fact: thinking cannot be stopped. It can only be watched. The more you try to stop it the more it becomes stronger and louder. Try to not think of a pink elephant and and pink elephants will be all over the place. You can't get rid of that voice nor do you need to. In fact you wlll go insane if you do get rid of it completely. That voice is what is making sense of your entire life and creating the narrative and the illusion of "you" and your story. It's what's saving your life. Say thank you to the voice in your head.
  2. @krockerman You have to realize all these concepts are defined in terms of each other.. And therefore meaningless ultimately. It's a circular game that you are playing here. Relative logic and absolute logic ? What's that? I never heard such concepts. You are making up your world view and fitting it together.. so ofcourse everything else will be contradicting it because you are already done with your conclusions from the start. It's like wearing a green glasses and all the sudden the world turns green and you're asking why can't I see the other colors that people talk about? Well take your glasses out first and then we can talk.
  3. That's like saying my car is me. Or my wife is me. Or my house is me. Anything that's mine cannot be me by definition. That's so illogical my friend.
  4. @krockerman consider this. YOU are the most illogical thing ever. I'm not kidding. Here's how.. The most primary logical rule is : the thing is itself. A=A. you feel yourself as one being right? Like you are one thing.. But if you look closely you will see you are made out of many parts (mouth.. Eyes.. Ears.. Legs etc) let alone the countless cells and molecules that compose this body which gets renewed and grow every single day. But yet you are still you. You don't feel like someone else from the age 5 yo to age 20 yo to age 50. That's your experience but in fact that thing that has 50 yo is literally a totally different thing from that 5 yo kid...this is illiogical! There must be something mysterious weird going on here!
  5. They mean the trap of "you are already enlightened and there's nothing to search about". That's indeed a trap but it's absolutely true nevertheless. Deal with that lol.
  6. There is no such thing as "I" in reality. By that I don't mean obviously the body doesn't exist or the mind or perceptions etc. All that is real. But there is no "you" In the middle of all that. Try it. Pinpoint where exactly is this "you" in actuality? Where does "you" reside?. Notice that whatever answer you come with can't be you because it will be the object of experience and not the subject. The subject of experience is never an object to experience. In other words you can't find yourself. You just are yourself. And what That is, is just this. The person that you think you are is just an idea occurring within this.
  7. Let it go and you will be it as you already are.. Or don't.
  8. I don't care what Neo-Advaita says about it. Go through the inquiry and find out for yourself. The notion of an enlightened person and a more enlightened person like it's some sort of a super Mario game of reaching higher and higher levels is just funny IMO and reflects that the person hasn't grasped even 1% of what enlightenment really is and still playing ego games. If "you" are not even real, how in the earth can "you" become enlightened?. Enlightenment is not a specific thing within reality. Enlightenment is reality itself. That's just my opinion ofc. But then again it doesn't matter from where I see it.
  9. @Aaron p I'm no expert in this topic but will just give you how I see it personally. "Enlightenment " is not a realization that occurs in your mind. Any realization couched within your mind is limited.. relative and impermanent. If enlightenment is a particular realization it would be limited. . Relative and impermanent. Which makes it not a big deal. Just another realization. Another experience and there is always more to come be sure of that. How I see it .. Enlightenment is NOT the realization of the absolute truth.. Enlightenment IS the absolute truth. And since absloute truth is all that there is.. Enlightenment is all that there is. And therefore you are not enlightened because you are enlightenment itself. And that makes the questioni Of " is X enlightened "a very funny question IMO. The very first thing you learn about enlightenment is that the person is illusory. There is no person to begin with. And yet you ask is the person enlightened lol.
  10. Obviously existence is NOT "logic". It's a different thing to say existence is logical(which might be true) and to say existence itself is logic itself. That's just big false lol. Existence is not logic as it is not anything you think it is by definition. Existence is this! . The fact that reality exists at all is not logical. It's not illogical as well. It's just prior to all of that.
  11. What's logical about the fact that existence exist at all? Isn't that the most mind-blowing and illogical thing ever?
  12. i have been contemplating this topic a lot recently and i believe i have reached solid conclusions. these conclusions are unquestionable because they are self-evident..undeniably true and infallible which is what you need to qualify a truth as an "absolute truth". so what is reality ? reality is whatever appears to be appearing at the moment you think you are not asleep. period. that is it. there is nothing else. there is no need for any materialistic beliefs or spiritual beliefs. it is so obvious that is totally overlooked and filtered out . kinda reminds me when you are looking for your glasses when you are actually wearing them lol. so basically there is no need to search for anything. there is no need to label it as anything or to have any kind of metaphysical worldviews whether it is material..spiritual ..nondual etc. reality is not consciousness. it is not matter. it is not dual .it is not nondual. it is not god, it is not a dream .it is not imagination. it is not a simulation. it is not a matrix. it is not your creation or my creation or gods creation . it is not any word or concept. but if i have to use a concept im gonna choose "actuality". reality is actuality. but then again i gone too far because actuality as actuality is not even "actuality" .it simply has no fucking name lol other than what you want to call it. this video of Alan watts helped me with this insight along with leos video 'what is Truth" and "what is actuality". so basically you want to know what is reality and what is the absolute truth about existence and your role in it? well that is exactly what you are seeing right now .this is it. so what the fuck are you asking about ?lol
  13. Alright chillax lol. I'm indeed Aquarius. But it was just a chance. Astrology is nonsense like it or not. It's human made fantasies. It doesn't take a lot of intelligence to see that. The concept of years and months itself is a relative notion. So right now you think you are in the year 2020 and not 2028..hate to break it to you but there's no such thing. Years don't even exist. It's a human invention. One class of Einstein's relativity of time and all Astrology's career goes out the window. BTW. All that is off topic so let's stay on track here lol.
  14. Yup. Astrology charts are concepts and fantasies tho lol
  15. Well maybe because I'm a knowledge addict weirdo lol.
  16. Nope. Not yet. On chapter 14 currently. Been procrastinating a little bit lol.
  17. And all you will ever know . that's even more important.
  18. Thanks. I think it's something about the phone. I can easily delete it if I'm using the PC.
  19. Sorry I can't edit this repetition for some reason lol. But anyways: Understanding comes and goes. Experience doesn't. I'm experiencing reality all the time obviously that's one. And understanding can be true or false. Experience is always true. That makes experience absolute truth and understanding relative and second order compared to the experience itself as itself. Now by that I don't mean the context of the experience or the interpretation that you give to your experience.. That's all concepts and understanding which is relative and can be false but the fact of there being experience happening at all is the only undeniable truth there is. Therefore the only absolute truth there is. For example you might be dreaming right now.. Who knows? But that's the context of the experience.. It could be a dream or anything else.. But the fact that this experience right here is happening right now is absolutely true and can't be falsified. Making it absolute truth. In this video Leo asked Peter Ralston about how can we trust our experience being an absolute truth and I think Ralston was trying to say exactly what I'm saying here but in a different formulation.
  20. Imagine trying to explain to a kid what does sex feel like?. You can give him all sorts of metaphors and examples from his own experience of pleasurable stuff (candy.. Ice cream etc). But he's not gonna really understand it untill he actually experience it. The same with understanding reality. It turns out the best way to understand reality is to experience reality. Understanding is good but it's always going to be limited and partial. You can explain parts of reality in terms of another.. But you will never be able to unravel the whole thing because your understanding itself is part from the whole.. So you have to unravel yourself in the way lol. Understanding the whole can only be realized through nonunderstanding
  21. Whatever appears to be believed or said or experienced or thought about this or anything else is whatever is appearing. It's not under the control of No one. It can appear as it wish. It doesn't matter. Truth is ever present.
  22. I didn't put anything nowhere. Everything is already in it's place as it is and I'm observing it.
