During meditation session. Realized that I don't exist and never existed. No one is behind the apparent body-mind. Just empty awareness that you can zoom back into it forever. Similarly everybody else. Thus solved my obsession with solipsism. I always had the feeling that I'm the only one that really exists. Now I am conscious that I myself don't exist as anyone. Neither any other person. There are no "persons" in the universe. Now I walk Down the streets fully conscious that no one exists or ever existed.

First of all be respectful. I seek genuine understanding. Just because you don't agree with me doesn't mean I'm just being pedantic. I made my point clear. It's not a linguistic type of flimsy difference. It's a very real difference. You don't have the slightest control over the content of your thoughts. Period. This is an observable fact. The thoughts will still arise without a thinker. Now relate that to LOA and how your thoughts attract your reality. That's true. But since you are not creating your thoughts in any way. You are not creating your reality. So LOA is valid as a description of the natural unfolding. But When you think you as an ego can use it to improve your life you will have to first resolve this dilemma of choice with the fact that you don't exist as an ego in the first place.

How so? Give me a practical example. Let's say I want to modify my mind to stop thinking about X thought. How is that done?

Actually an anti-virus software is a fixed entity that can filter viruses. What you call "the mind" is a fantasy. It's just a concept. There is no mind. As in something that is container or the producer of thoughts. The mind doesn't filter thoughts. What you call the mind is itself the thoughts.

In other words there is no free will or you but that doesn't mean stuff won't get done via the apparent body-mind. No one is saying stuff won't get done. Stuff will get done. It's just that who you think you are as an individual is not doing them. So again all the points are valid.. In regards here to LOA or anything else.. "Make up your mind and think good thoughts to attract good things"...if thoughts arise without a thinker.. Who is to be asked to think good thoughts? You can't do it cuz you are not there to do it. And sure enough..that destroys LOA at the very root. Unless it's a universal description. Yeah there is no you to think your thoughts.. But still.. Good thoughts will attract good things even if you don't think them. No one is denying that. The point of conflict is you are not in control of the things that will still get done via your body-mind. Thus.. You are not responsible for them. Thus. LOA is a spontaneous process. It is. But you can't direct it to your benefit.

No not at all. He is assuming a "you" that is separate from thoughts and aware of them. Same dilemma. There is no one aware of thoughts. Awareness is not aware of thoughts. That's duality. Awareness IS the thought taking the form of it. It appears as if you are aware of X. Actually X is free floating without any you.

Knowledge is a conceptual layer on being. There is no knowing because who is to know and what is to know? Duality. So In a sense you don't know anything because you are. Being.

If a schizophrenic person saw this.. That would be the end of his life lol

Nonduality 101 #. Reality is nondual. That means there is one thing that exists in reality. Reality itself. Existence is one thing. Every single duality you imagine is inherent in reality..is not. Is just an imagination. There is no difference between time and eternal presence. There is no difference between existence and no existence. There is no difference between me you Leo your mom your cat trump Hitler Jesus and a cheesecake. There is no difference between form and formlessness. There is no difference between you and what you see.. You and what you touch. You and what you hear. There is no difference between truth and delusion. Enlightenment and ignorance. There is no actual difference between any two supposedly distinct objects or concepts. All talk supposes duality.. When there aren't any duality. That's why you guys need to stop arguing. And verify it in your experience.

@Member the first step towards Self-realization.. Number one: you are not what you see in the mirror.

@Moksha you stuck in duality. Here there. Form formlessness etc @Member if there is a Self.. That is yourself.. Who you already are.. Do you realize that "you" cannot realize "it" because that is a duality? If there is a truth about you.. Then you are already that truth.. Whether you realize it or not.. In fact "you" cannot realize "it "because" it" is not other than "you" to be an object of realization.. You cannot not be who you are.. That's why you are nothing. Because you are not anything you think you are (duality).

@Breakingthewall dude practice self-inquiry. Meditation by focusing awareness on your identity then you can verify what I'm talking about. Ramana maharshi's method is very effective. Who am I? This(X) ? No because I am aware of it.. And keep deconstructing etc. If it doesn't resonate. No worries. What matters is your truth. You eventually will come to realize. You can't be anything that arises. If it arises and disappears. It can't be "you". That is of course every sensation every thought every feeling every concept everything. If you are not any of that. Then what are you?

The Self=the Void. Also you don't realize it because it's who you already are. Let go of trying to realize anything and abide as what is left.

Yes. Meditation alone. No psychedelics involved. Just calm your mind completely. And look at who you are. It will be revealed to "you". You are a nobody. As expected

@Javfly33 @Breakingthewall @Moksha it's actually not possible to communicate it into words. You guys need to directly experience what I'm talking about. Otherwise it will never make any sense. Every attempt to conceptualize it will fail because it's infinte paradoxical nature will always escape any fixed conceptual description. Go for direct experience. Find out what is true.

There is no world of duality to begin with. That's the illusion. It's a paradox. You won't die. You are already dead. You won't cease to exist as an individual. You don't exist right now at the peak of your belief of your separate existence.

LOL the realizations have no end. It's just there is something that is realizing all realizations but itself isn't a realization. @Moksha careful. It doesn't mean you Will experience peace. If peace is an experience you still in ego consciousness. To put it shortly.. If you still there as ego.. Peace will be an experience.. An experience that comes and goes. If you die as an ego.. You are peace itself. Because all boundaries have collapsed. So you can't experience eternal peace. You have to die and then you will become eternal peace.

@Moksha no that's a misunderstanding. You don't abide in eternal peace when you're enlightened. You are eternal peace at all times. Your true self is peace itself. You don't experience peace as an object. If you still here as an ego to experience stuff outside yourself then you are not enlightened. You still in duality. The realization of nonduality is the most radical thing that can ever happen to "you". You will literally die. With all seriousness in the world. You as a separate individual will die permanently. There will be no longer any difference between what you see and you.. You and what you touch.. There will be longer a difference between you and the entire universe. You will disappear as a center of experience. And will become experience itself. You already are but the illusion of ego is veiling this. People don't appreciate how radical this is.

Deeper realizations? What is deeper than nothing? What is beyond nothing? What could be more fundamental than nothing? If you haven't reached nothing yet you haven't reached the end. Dig deeper. The country is nothing. Where is the country occurring? Where is the universe itself occurring? Where is the present moment occurring? It's occurring here nowhere at the middle of nothing. Which is the center of your being. The groundless ground. Again it's up to you if you are a seeker of the truth.. You can focus on Maya.. The illusory mirages of the world of forms.. Or you can focus inwards..you can focus on that which doesn't come and go and discover the ultimate reality.

This is funny. I read it multiple times but it's just pure contradiction.

I'm having a hard time figuring this out. I've been having a lot of conversations recently about "choice". People arguing with me how I can "choose to let go of negative thoughts". A negative thought can go. But you can't make it go. Alright this a open thread. Go ahead lol please explain how is it possible to not think about a pink elephant! Lol . The fundamental misunderstanding is this.. "you" do not think your thoughts.. You don't create them or let them go. They just arise and go. "you" yourself is a thought that arises and goes. . What is the next thought in your mind?? You don't know lol . You don't know what will your mind think next moment. It can be a thought about aliens.. About Donald trump.. Or About what are you gonna eat for dinner tonight. Just talking at the level of thought process.. Because the glitch is so clear at this level. Unlike at the level of action.. What higher and lower? If it's real point to it. Define yourself as a separate individual. Now that I've asked you a question.. Observe how the possible answer will just form itself in your mind without "you" doing anything.

If everything came from God.. Then every speech is the speech of God. My words here are the words of God. Why don't you glorify them?

@AtheisticNonduality @Moksha this is getting too abstract. Let's ground it more to earth. Do you love disgusting stuff? No? Then how can you say love is an absolute or encompasses everything? Here there is an instance of your life when you didn't love something. Do you feel peace.. Joy.. Bliss.. Harmony.. Good.. All the time? Ofcourse no. You feel good. But then comes times when you feel like shit. So how can goodness be an absolute? If it's absolute it doesn't come and go. It's always the same. What is always the same? Nothing. Tada! Lol
