It really depends on how tragedy affects you. The more traumatic it gets the longer its effects last on you and the more deep it changes your entire worldview on life . If you survived a very dangerous near death experience your life will change forever and there is no going back to taking things like your life and health for granted . -

Death is not simply an event but it is a process. Unless it comes instantly..in deep sleep..through immediate force like a gun to the head or being beheaded or another truly instantaneous cause..the body and mind often pass through a period of profound struggle. Obviously I wish to die instantly . The more time it takes to die the more painful it is going to feel . And obviously it’s going to be the worst pain you’ve ever experienced in life. Because In those moments..the ego has nowhere left to hide. The identity we spend a lifetime defending is going to die . achievements..status..beliefs..possessions.. self-image etc all of that must go . And it is not going to be easy to let all that shit go because we’ve been holding on to it for our whole life .Death strips away every illusion of control and reminds us that despite everything we accumulate or accomplish we are ultimately powerless before it. This is why so many spiritual traditions place such importance on surrender while we are still alive. The practice is not about weakness but willingly releasing the ego before life eventually forces us to. If we learn to let go of our attachment to the self now we may meet death with far less resistance and fear . It’s in our hands to reduce fear and resistance but not in our hands to reduce the pain . In fact ..entire spiritual paths are built around this principle. The word “ Islam”literally means “submission” or “surrender” to the will of god and the reality that there is something greater than the individual ego. Perhaps the deepest spiritual practice is to die before you die or just surrender completely. You will have to do it anyways..so why not doing it consciously instead of unconsciously? -

Jim Newman’s message is one of the most radical..simple and beautiful perspectives on spiritual realization that I’ve encountered. Its power lies precisely in its simplicity. Though it’s not really his own thing..there are a lot of spiritual teachers who have been communicating the same message. When Leo says things like, “You are not awake because of X ..Y or Z ” that framework doesn’t really apply to what Jim is pointing toward. Jim’s message is that the fundamental misunderstanding is the assumption that there is a separate “you” who is not awake and who could eventually become awake. From this perspective..awakening is not the achievement of an individual. Rather..it is the collapse of the illusion that there ever was an individual seeker in the first place. It is the seeing through of the apparent self and the recognition of the utter futility and even absurdity of seeking awakening as a future state that an illusory identity could attain. Jim’s message stands in direct contrast to Leo’s. In my opinion it is the more radical and accurate perspective. It also offers no promises of future attainmentt like God consciousness or omniscience . It only promises “what is “ which is already the case..that the freedom we long for has never been absent. What changes is not reality itself but the context in which it is experienced. Reality is not a portal to god and love..but reality is god and love ..not after a hundred trips and a million meditations retreats ..but right here and right now . -
This World Cup’s theme is no game is easy and anything could happen but I expect yet another difficult win for Argentina .
-
They missed two clear chances at the very end . One of them if Ronaldo could’ve just spread his feet and touch the ball it would go In. I’m waiting for a YouTube highlight to showcase it.
-
Instead of posting motivational content on his YouTube channel..he should have managed expectations from the outset. At 41 .. the natural decline agility and close ball manipulation has significantly altered his playing profile. He know he is no longer a high volume ball controler or isolation dribbler ..his value now lies in penalty box positioning and clinical finishing. Portugal possesses exceptional quality across all areas of the pitch but the squad appears to lack the championship mentality . Talent alone does not consistently translate into World Cup success without those elite competitive traits.

Ronaldo out . Fuck football man .

In my experience the only solution to “ worrying about the future “ and just being fully in the moment is by facing some real life difficulties that will make you grateful afterwards for what you have . Like maybe getting an open hurt surgery or something that will make you forever grateful for the fact that you are even alive at all with a well functioning heart and mind . People get hit by trucks..die in fires..lose their kids.. their job etc. Shit happens honey .. But unfortunately that’s the only way to growth . No pain ..no gain . Obviously I don’t endorse you intentionally get yourself into trouble ..But you NEED a spiritual practice that prevents you from getting sucked too deeply into the drama of life. And this will certainly happen. Over and over and over. The practice is navigating this cycle and becoming more skillful at doing so. Good luck -

Cool story bro . -
Brazil vs Norway . Because of Vin.JR and Halaand I’m reminded of Madrid vs Man City Classico . lol .
-
The title is not going to escape either France or Brazil or Spain. Portugal has a fantastic squad but the performances are very poor except the one against Uzbekistan which is really a weak team.
-
Man I pay anything to watch that fucking Argentina vs Portugal in round of 8. But yes this expectation sound realistic for me.

Morocco is unbelievable. Knocked Canada 3-0 and knocked Netherlands. And reached the semi finals last time . Will they do it again ?

@Inliytened1 you’re gonna die physically anyways so this is no issue .death in spirituality isn’t physical..it’s watching your illusions fall apart while you still alive..if you go back to these two people and read their history they were probably at peace with it . -

@Joshe Yes..If you want to know what death entails the only way is to actually seek what death entails. So what’s your issue? Did Leo hit a nerve because he roasted your worldview with an uncomfortable truth? By the way..how exactly are you planning to escape death brother? How do you imagine your final days or your final moments will feel? Have you convinced yourself they’ll be effortless? And don’t ask “What’s the connection?” Connect the dots. That’s the entire point. Rest assured no legal investigation is coming for Leo. He can go on YouTube and openly say that physical reality is imaginary ..unreal dream you’ll eventually wake up from and somehow nobody demands a legal investigation over that. Funny how selective people become when deciding which ideas are reckless. To him all of this is a hallucination in his mind ..well actually in your mind . -

Plot twist: someone became enlightened… then discovered there was no someone. Yikes 😬 -
Start with yourself . You first become more conscious.

If I were faced with a choice between stepping into a portal into the unknown or returning for another incarnation.. I would need absolute certainty that my ultimate destination is safe ..which I do . There has to be a deep knowing that nothing can truly harm you in the end..that love ultimately prevails no matter what. Reaching that certainty requires work . If someone has not realized this.. then fear and resistance are completely understandable. The heartbreaking part is that if such a moment ever comes..whether you are able to surrender will ultimately be by God’s grace. The ego cannot make surrender happen through its own effort because the ego itself has no real independent existence. That is precisely the obstacle.. the one trying to surrender is the very illusion that stands in the way. In the deepest sense.. there is no separate self to surrender. Many people who awaken through psychedelics have no idea how they were guided toward that experience. They often assume it was their own choice..without recognizing the unseen forces that may have led them there. Take Ramana Maharshi…He seemed destined to become a realized sage. It is difficult to argue that his realization came solely through personal effort. Perhaps it was the unfolding of karma or some deeper grace..something I don’t fully understand..but his life suggests that realization is not simply something the ego achieves through willpower. -
She’s not here .

That’s you tripping on Frank’s consciousness? I didn’t watch him . Who cares about him? Read Rupert spira’s consciousness. He was asked about the classical question of freedom of choice vs predestination and you can hear his response . You claim you can decipher his “level of awakening “ by just reading his awareness . Demonstrate it .
