Agreed..i say it could be a mix of both. And I'm so much leaning towards that, actually. Maybe I should create a label for this state of consciousness and call it mine lol. Notice that everything seems correct from each pov. It seems absolutely true that reality is external and objective, all evidence points towards that. And at the same time, all of that seems to be couched within you/consciousness. Notice that you can never debunk either of those thoughts no matter how you try. You can never debunk materialism, neither will you ever debunk idealism. But you do have some good points regarding solipsism. Which always makes me re-think the whole thing

@Superfluo they can be useful for sure. But past a certain point.. It becomes toxic and really it doesn't lead anywhere.

@Leo Gura how many times do we have to have The conversation of solipsism vs the external world? And I'm still clueless in that regard.. If there was a definitive answer.. surely we could stop having the same conversation over and over again. What if I just give up and accept that I don't know? Isn't not knowing closer to truth?

A little thought experiment.. You don't experience time when you are sleeping. Hours pass and to you it feels like nothing. What If you slept for 5000 years or died during that time and then woke up.. From your pov it will be as a blink of an eye. No time have passed from your pov. Yet 5000 years have passed on earth. Even an eternity can pass on earth and the entire world might end.. Yet from your pov it will be as a blink of an eye. This means time has no existence and no relevance without you. Without an observer that feels time. That's why when you die the whole world will die with you. Because the whole of eternity will happen in a blink of an eye. This made me realize that there is only me. I'm completely alone as God. I'm the only thing that exists. And what is not relevant to me simply does not exist. This is mind blowing and terrifying.

In Buddhism they Believe in reincarnation and karma. You keep incarnating after death until you pay all your karma and then you stop and cease to exist completely. That state of cessation and nothingness is called "nirvana ". It's basically a form of salvation and being free from the sufferings of life. (because according to Buddhism, life is suffering). What do you think of the Buddhist narrative? And what is your own definition of nirvana?

You tell me. From the 1st person pov it doesn't pass.. It happens instantly. You might sleep three days and from your pov it will be as a blink of an eye. Consciousness and direct experience are self-evident. Time is relative. And conceptual. Maybe you need to take a short look at einstein's relativity.
