I did so because I feel like we need to tackle one point at a time ,instead of Bombarding each other's with tons of unrelated questions . Much love 🙏.

One week clean. I'm feeling better overall. I realized that cigarettes make me happy temporarily. Only during smoking and afterwards few minutes. But in the rest of the day it makes me cough and kills my appetite for food and other kinds of nasty side effects . Whereas sobriety makes me joyfully physically and also emotionally I don't experience worry or overthinking about the health consequences and fear of getting cancer .

People with chronic pain and zero hope to improve do in fact kill themselves.

Are you open that there is more to spirituality than seeing through the illusion of separation and ego ? Leo was talking about this during the inception of this forum back in 2016. So none of this contradicts Leo's spirituality but the thing you can't stop at that and think you've figured existence out .there is more insights to have ..isn't that obvious to you ?

Yes . I'm of course aware of the multidimensional nature of suicide . It's not just that people believe life is pointless. Some people are suicidal because they have chronic diseases or disorders or unbearable physical pain. And I'm sorry that I didn't cover this point in my post ..because I don't have an experience with this so I chose to refrain from addressing this kind of situations that could make a person wants to kill himself/herself. You are describing exactly what I said about suffering physically is unavoidable but you don't need to suffer mentally by thinking and concocting stories about your existence which I already said I understand and agree with .

I understand what ralston means even though I haven't read the book. He says your life can be full of stress and proplems but you can dissociate and realize you don't suffer emotionally .and I agree you can transcend emotional suffering to a great degree . But physical? Impossible. If you are hungry you are suffering. And you need to eat or you will die from hunger and rot in hell .

That's totally fine .like I said I have put the horse before the cart by pursuing consciousness work instead of working on basic survival stuff . But you do you . Obviously there is also validity to abandoning marriage altogether and just enjoying your romantic and sexual life as a live in or just changing your girlfriend every once in a while..but that just doesn't resonate with me at the moment.

Reaching 29 next December. I'm not sure what you mean by Karma in this context. But obviously yes I'm not ready at the moment to start a family .I need to fulfil some basic things first In Maslow's hierarchy of needs like financial stability first and foremost. Before I got interested in marriage I was thinking I would simply make money and travel around the world and sleep around with any girls I want . Now that I think about it more deeply I realize its immature path .

The question of what happens after your so called body so called dies. In Christian religion you get judgement by God and either go to heaven or to hell . I'm sure you know that . Yes it's not experience of truth .it's a belief. But the point being made by OP is that he verified the belief by saying "God showed me hell". We're shit out of luck I guess cause God didn't show us . Idk. Ask him. He seems to be confused and can't make sense of what he himself has experienced. But in the end point is that he did experience something.

@UnbornTao keep in mind religion is all about giving absolute final answers to the big existential questions. Religious folks don't like questioning because if they question their religion the entire house of cards will collapse in no time . He literally told you he had an out of body experience and heared a voice which he labeled as God or Jesus that this is the afterlife and this i heaven and this is hell . What do you make of that claim? He didn't prove it to us or others but he says he has seen undeniable poof of it to himself .

@ExploringReality you've got a great heart man. It's disappointing that Leo is so shy and introverted (even in his own "place") to know how to respond with etiquette to such things. And maybe its not shyness but he enjoys being a kind of smug . A very mysterious dude.

@Natasha Tori Maru Yes suffering is totally physical . Sadness is how you feel .it's an emotion that you feel . Caused by chemicals going out of wack in your so called brain.

Suffering Is physical and its synonymous with pain. You step your toe on the bed and it hurts then that's physical Suffering. I flirt with the wrong girl and she kicks me in the balls then that's physical Suffering again

So suffering can't be pointed to because it is in "the mind "? How about pointing to "the mind " 😂? Obviously it's not the head or otherwise suffering can indeed be located in the body which makes your point false . What I just told you twice .

Does that apply to feelings of need and lack or just negative emotions?
