Why do you think that is ? How do you know? Self fulfilling prophecy. So we should live just like animals? Without entertaining our mental facilities? Great ?. Thanks.

You see? ..you are creating a duality between 'you' and 'You '. As if there is a false self and a true Self . And that just isn't the case . The term nondual points to that there is not two . So yes ..everything in the entire universe is yours because 'you ' is God .its too Good to be true isn't it ? -

What's the difference? The two are identical. -

A belief is the acceptance that something is true without having proof cause if we have proof we just know it. Can you not believe in religion,in ethics, not even to yourself? So can we make decisions without calling it truth just by calling it an opinion or theory living in uncertainty? Can a human function this way or is it too much to handle? If people chose subconsciously by some instinct of self preservation to believe in their first rationalization just cause it makes them feel better with purpose then what about people who call themselves unbelievers(not just about god) are they above self preservation instincts? Can you function with "rationality" and skepticism? Are all our opinions biased and limited so probably all wrong(does that make them wrong)?.

My problem is exactly the need of beliefs i know that just .Because you need something doesn't make it true or right but understanding that does not prove that you have eliminated beliefs from your thought prosses.Maybe aspiring to destroy believes is impossible. But i don’t want to act pretentious cartesian doubt as a term is a gap in my knowledge so i surrender to the intellectually sloppy part. Proof is the antidote to beliefs. The fact that most people assume that it is possible to construct concepts that fully correspond to some aspect of reality objectively does not mean that such a thing is achievable. That's just a convenient illusion that confuses those who need security. All knowledge is only an approximation in my opinion. It is impractical to seek refuge in absolute knowledge. So yes we need beliefs. -

Good example. If belief is just choosing subconsciously the rationalization you find more comfortable to justify the world then is acting surprised when you Don't find the car was triggered by your belief that objects Don't just disappear for no reason.? So you have to believe that objects just don't disappear just cause. What I want to know if you can escape irrationality. For instance..When you give a task to a person and you say you trust him i think you subconsciously calculate his chances success and call it trust. You don't have the processing power to calculate the person or the universe(if that's even possible) so you act on probability..on percentages. If your actions are based on probability then they can be wrong but you have to act..action is life..decision is life.So if decision is acting on probability then isn't decision a belief?Maybe with calculation and proof the universe doesn't need beliefs but in a lifetime of a person aren't all our actions based on belief? If decisions are just bad math(and life is a decision)they have no absolute purpose you can choose love..hate..virtue..suffering..pleasure,or just end it all and you can't say any of them is right or wrong. Yea i came to something of a similar conclusion myself and i was looking for something that opposes this thought. -

Yes but to what degree exactly we should not mix truth with belief? What is the criteria to distinguish truth from belief? It is a practical matter. A question of resources. It is not necessary to verify every belief. This should only be done when necessary. Each concept always has a probability less than 100% of corresponding to reality. There is no way of knowing which of our concepts have an absolute correspondence. So acknowledging beliefs as beliefs is not as Easy as it may sound . -

So if we need belief in order to function..that doesn't make a belief true . But you are saying it might not be verified as true but we 'need it '. This is called pragmatism . yours is the pragmatic and accepting view. IMO. In our real lives..there is much uncertainty. more than many would care to admit. Correspondingly ..there is less knowledge..and much more belief than some are happy to discuss. -

Two examples: 1-That there isn't a Chinese teapot revolving around planet Mars. I believe that. Without evidence. 2-that you are conscious just like me . -
Men who are average looking..never get matches..and don’t get a chance to show who they are. Women who are good looking get accosted by waves of men..and this makes the woman very very selective . Which reduces the chances of men getting a match. Online dating just results in good looking men having lower self esteem and being exhausted of dating. While the bad ones keep going un-deterred. And the good women are constantly under threat of dick pics and sexual harassment..they can’t have normal interactions. Hearing my single friend tales of his experience with Tinder is so disheartening. I feel so lucky to be in a stable relationship for half a year now. I do not know how I would find someone else if my girlfriend dumped me . Especially since she is not from India (but she told me she finds Indian guys to be hot). Share your experience with online game .any failure or success.

Before online dating, the dating pool was a lot smaller, and people were forced to meet IRL in a local setting. Looks were somewhat important, but people were able to complement their image with their personality and character. In present day with online dating, pretty much only looks matter. You can't show your character and charisma without matching first. Photos are the first thing that a user sees. Other traits can be mentioned on a profile, but are subordinate.

Honestly.. When you really think this through and try to find the healthiest diet possible.. It's gonna be raw fruits and vegetables. That's it. So if you're really interested in cleaning up your diet and eating healthy.. The only thing you should put in your body is a peice of fruit or a vegetable. Nothing else. That's the healthiest and cleanest diet possible.

To me . God doesn't give a shit about you or what you do or what happens to you . It's neutral and indifferent. -

I’m looking to hear from any of you who have felt like a loser but have seen improvements in yourself whether they are big or small. I have waves of moments when I feel like I’m on-task, getting stuff done, being the best version of me... and then days where I can’t seem to do almost anything... days that make me feel like a total loser. Anybody out there who has overcome these patterns? If not perfectly, then at least to a degree that allows you to feel more accomplished, in general, and less like shit on the “down” days? Share all your accomplishments since starting this Self-Actualization journey. From your financial freedom to your health to your success with the realtionships with the opposite sex to your experiences that expanded your consciousness and spiritual (or philosophical) insights. Thanks in advance!

Honestly, I'm having some mind blowing sex with my gf recently . To the point I masturbate after it for few Days when she ain't around. I introduced her to the idea that we should film or record our intercourse but she refused and got angry at me. Of course I explained to her that I ain't gonna upload it on Pornhub or anything like that lol.. But she insisted that I don't ever think about it again. Honestly, those moments when we have sex are the highlight of my life (it's really so fucking good) and I want to record it on video to view it in the future. It's like I want to save those moments or "document" it for the purpose of creating good memories. What do you guys think? Am I a freaking weirdo ??

@Razard86 why so angsty about this awakening stuff? -
Look, I agree that it is always better to obtain the vitamins and minerals required for the body from natural sources. supplements neither are that bad nor i am against them but we should consume these supplements only then if we are not able to fulfill our requirements from natural sources of vitamins and minerals just like milk, curd, yogurt, vegetables etc. On a raw fruit and vegetables diet you gonna have some minerals and vitamins lacking..that's the only downside of this diet ..but you can always supplement it.its better than getting those minerals from real food which is toxic .
-
vitamins are chemicals. There’s no difference between ascorbic acid from an orange or ascorbic acid from a lab.
-
So be it. You can Take omega 3 or fish oil supplements. Beans contain enough protein.
-
They are plant-based. What do you think Oats are? Wheat. And what category of food does Wheat belong to? Sure. You might have some nutritional lack in some nutrients like protein and Zinc etc. So you can supplement it. Most animal products nowadays are injected with bad hormones for you. Insane? What are you talking about? You will feel lighter and cleaner and your mood will improve. I make no promises about how you gonna feel on this diet. I simply said it's the "cleanest" diet possible. Most food nowadays are filled with bad hormones and injections and heavy metals. Even the water we drink is filled with toxins. Note that I don't claim that this diet is the one you gonna have the maximum energy on. I simply said it's the cleanest. Please understand that distinction. It's plant-based.
