  1. I've been contemplating this recently and I wish to share this with you guys . Anything I come to know from the external world is prone to error and falsehood . It can never be trusted as an absolute truth.. Because of the very fact that it is derived from the outside world ..which automatically means it has been known by others and now delivered to you..but if it is not derived by you personally..how can you trust it ? Even if Leo or your Guru tells you something.. you should never trust it but you should validate it in your own direct experience..including this very advice from me right now..and this just goes on in a circle and becomes obsessive and meaningless. Like "this statement is false". I think it's a very nasty epistemic problem. This entanglement of everything . just the fact that obviously everything everywhere across all places..and in all dimensions or times or whatever ..everything is interconnected. Like for example you cannot separate the observer from the observed..Or this moment from the next moment . Etc . If you ask AI or Google about any question or information then you have to be skeptical ..because what the hell is the very origin of that information and how was it known at all ? Likewise you can't trust other people. Truth has to be derived personally. But aren't I creating a false duality here which is just circular and absurd? Because there cannot be a personal experience without an other experience..and the two are tied Togther. And if you push this inquiry further to the ultimate end you arrive at the conclusion that since self =other or at least interrelated then it doesn't matter whether you go through the work of discovering truth or whether your Guru spoon-fed you it . It's tricky.
  2. @Hojo the mind is afraid of emptiness. I agree..and this is why once you sit to meditate thoughts go crazy ..because we are addicted to stimulation .we want to be doing something all the time ..and this is why I had insomnia issues because to sleep you are supposed to just lay there on the bed just relaxing and calming down..but I'm used to loud lifestyle like playing games and listening to rap music .also Caffeine and Cigarettes etc .all of this doesn't occur if we lived in nature without electronics..we would sleep at dusk. So I learned to finish all my busy activities during the day and just spend most of the night in activities which are relaxing and calming like reading a book or listening to jazz music or Piano etc .
  3. @Hojo obviously not exclusively . You gotta move to drink and eat at the very least or you die .
  4. Are you saying the fear of non-existence creates FOMO?
  5. Huge problem. I can relate . This results from an undisciplined mind . The nature of the mind is to fantasise about all the good things you are missing out in life ..an undisciplined mind that is. I used to experience this a lot before I learned about methods of quieting the mind . As soon as you wake up in the morning the mind goes "dodododododododo" or "let's take a walk ".."let's hang out with my friends and maybe get drunk " .."let's hit on some chicks".."let's check social media ". These things are fun..but if you can't spend a whole day just sitting in home appreciating your food and comfort then you will never be happy . Leo is offering the opposite perspective above if you are highly ambitious person then you gotta do things ..but since you said it is overwhelming for you then I understand that in my life is pointless desire that only leads to disappointment and multiplication of itself .its like pouring gas on the fire ..it will only make it more blazing . So to get to the point If you're highly ambitious person then it's a good thing to make to-do lists and follow a busy productive routine but if it is disturbing your mental peace then start practicing meditation and doing nothing.
  6. @Monster Energy are you yourself addicted to porn ?
  7. The difference between having gay sex and having a sexual relationship with a child is mostly that the gay partners are both adults and mature and choosing consciously to participate in the relationship..whereas having sex with a child is rape ..mostly rape since a child has no interest in sex whatsoever. Is rape bad ? Nothing is bad objectively. But bad is Defined relative to subjective harm to the individual and society.
  8. Yes it's bad and addictive. But it makes you feel good so that's why you do it .like drugs ..fast food..cigarettes etc.
  9. Below is full texts quotes from Chatgpt about ontological nihilism and metaphysical nihilism. If you think metaphysical solipsism is crazy then you ain't seen nothing lol. I actually totally agree with the entire text and I think it is also obvious and non-debatable. And it's fascinating also to note that this aligned perfectly with Buddhism's worldview . Starting with ontological nihilism : "Ontological nihilism is a philosophical view that denies the existence of any kind of objective reality or that there is no inherent "being" or "substance" that defines existence in the traditional sense. It's a subset of nihilism that focuses specifically on the nature of being and existence itself. Here’s a more detailed breakdown: Ontology refers to the branch of philosophy that deals with the study of being, existence, and the categories of being. It explores questions like "What exists?" and "What does it mean for something to exist?" Nihilism is the broader philosophical stance that life lacks inherent meaning, purpose, or value. Nihilism can apply to ethics, knowledge, and metaphysics. So, ontological nihilism takes nihilism a step further by claiming that nothing truly exists in a substantial or enduring sense. There might be phenomena, objects, or experiences, but they have no permanent or intrinsic being. According to ontological nihilists, all entities are either illusory, fleeting, or not truly "existent" in the way we typically understand existence. Key Points: No Objective Existence: There is no objective, independent reality. Everything that we perceive as "existing" is either a construct of our minds or transient in nature. Denial of Substances or Entities: There's no underlying "substance" or "thing" that grounds all existence. The things we think of as "real" may not have an essence or intrinsic nature. Influence of Other Nihilistic Ideas: Ontological nihilism often overlaps with metaphysical nihilism (the idea that there may be nothing in existence at all) and epistemological nihilism (the idea that knowledge is impossible or meaningless). Examples: A radical version of ontological nihilism might argue that the universe itself, and everything in it, lacks any true essence. Things only exist temporarily or relative to human perception, but no one or no thing truly "is" in any objective, substantial sense. Philosophers like Husserl and Heidegger (to some degree) explored similar themes, though their work wasn’t strictly ontological nihilism. They focused on the way we perceive and experience existence, questioning whether it could be reduced to nothingness or if it always depends on perception. In summary, ontological nihilism is the belief that existence itself, as we conceive it, is not grounded in anything fundamental or permanent." I totally agree with all of that. 100% accurate description of reality as is . Moving on to metaphysical nihilism: "Metaphysical nihilism is a philosophical position that suggests that nothing exists in the most fundamental sense of the term. Unlike other forms of nihilism, which focus on the meaning or value of life, metaphysical nihilism specifically challenges the idea of the existence of any kind of substance, entity, or object in the universe, or at least the possibility of everything that exists being nothing at some level. At its core, metaphysical nihilism proposes that there may be no objects or entities that persist through time or have an inherent existence. This doesn't necessarily mean that things don't exist in a superficial, practical sense (like trees, rocks, or people), but that the totality of existence could be void of any enduring or fundamental things. In extreme versions of metaphysical nihilism, this position even suggests that the universe might not exist at all, or that it could just be a contingent, temporary structure without any essential being. Key Features of Metaphysical Nihilism: Denial of Fundamental Existence: Metaphysical nihilism denies that there is any fundamental, enduring substance that everything else is grounded in. For example, it rejects the idea of some basic "stuff" (like matter or energy) that everything is made of. Contingency of Objects: It holds that all objects or entities in the universe might be contingent, meaning they could either not have existed at all or could cease to exist without any fundamental reason. Essentially, there is nothing that requires the existence of particular objects or the universe itself. The Possibility of "No Existence": In its extreme form, metaphysical nihilism suggests that there might be no entities, no objects, no universe—just complete nothingness. Some versions suggest that the universe could have come into existence by chance or that it might vanish into non-existence, and this could be equally likely or even inevitable. Denial of Ontology: Metaphysical nihilism is closely related to ontological nihilism, but with a specific focus on the non-existence of all entities or substances, rather than just the denial of a particular kind of existence (e.g., rejecting the existence of essential "beings"). Variants of Metaphysical Nihilism: Strong Metaphysical Nihilism: This version argues that there is a total lack of existence, meaning that nothing exists at all—there is no universe, no objects, and no things in any sense. This is an extremely radical stance, but it is taken seriously by some philosophers, particularly in relation to questions about the ultimate fate of the universe (e.g., could the universe "cease to be"?). Weak Metaphysical Nihilism: This version might argue that individual objects or entities do not have any necessary or essential existence, but it doesn’t necessarily deny that the universe as a whole could exist. For example, it might suggest that objects are only contingent (they could exist, but they don’t have to), and that even though things may exist now, they could just as easily not have existed at all. Existential Nihilism (Not to be Confused with Metaphysical Nihilism): While metaphysical nihilism concerns the very essence of existence, existential nihilism is often more concerned with the meaning or purpose of existence. It suggests that, even if existence is real, it lacks inherent meaning, purpose, or value. Philosophical Roots: Leibniz: The 17th-century philosopher Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz raised questions about why the universe is the way it is, suggesting that the existence of the universe might be contingent. He proposed that things could be different, and perhaps nothing at all might exist. David Hume: In his skepticism about causality and necessity, David Hume questioned whether there is any necessary connection in the world, which aligns with the ideas in metaphysical nihilism about the contingent nature of existence. Contemporary Philosophers: More recently, philosophers like Peter van Inwagen and David Lewis have examined the implications of metaphysical nihilism through debates about the possibility of a "quantum vacuum" or the nature of possible worlds, where they consider whether nothingness could be a genuine possibility. Example of the Position: A classic formulation of metaphysical nihilism is the "nothingness" argument: Imagine a possible world in which nothing exists—no physical objects, no events, no time, no space, just pure nothingness. Metaphysical nihilism entertains the possibility that our universe could, in fact, be a contingent state, and there could easily be a possible world where nothing exists at all. This view is not necessarily about denying the existence of particular things (like trees or mountains), but rather about suggesting that existence, in the most absolute sense, is not necessary. Criticism: Challenge of Possibility: One criticism of metaphysical nihilism is the question of how nothing could be considered a "possibility" at all. Some argue that we cannot meaningfully talk about "nothing" because even the concept of "nothing" seems to imply some kind of something. Logical and Conceptual Problems: There are also challenges to the coherence of metaphysical nihilism. If nothing exists, then there wouldn’t be any possibility of there being a world where things could not exist. Some argue that non-existence might be an incoherent or impossible state to conceive. Conclusion: Metaphysical nihilism is a radical philosophical position that challenges our common understanding of existence by suggesting that nothing exists at the most fundamental level or that existence could be contingent, even unnecessary. While extreme in some versions, it has been influential in the history of philosophy, raising questions about the nature of existence, reality, and whether there is any essential substance or foundation to the universe." The only thing I disagree with is the idea that "nothing exists at all " or "there is no existence whatsoever ". This is totally wrong and false . There is obviously apparent existence..but like it's described above on all the other points like contingency..lack of substance or ultimate ground ..etc its all spot on. Please do read the two texts and let's discuss whether what's said is accurate or not ..hopefully without using AI lol.
  10. @Natasha Tori Maru hey what's up ? 😂
  11. Yes but on YouTube you talk to a camera and read comments from random Internet strangers . On the blog you share insights in written form. AND THAT'S IT. BUT On the forum you interact with the same people( mostly)everyday. And this should mean this forum is not for chit chatting(there is a section for that )Like when will we completey break the ice completey and take this forum to the next level and our communication with you to the next level ?
  12. Maybe yes ..maybe no . Get to the point already.
  13. And I'm saying they are not referring to the same thing . Like Google it. Nirvana is a Sanskrit word which means ultimate permanent happiness. That's the goal of Buddhists. .to achieve nirvana which means ultimate permanent happiness..not God. God is an entity that is the creator of everything and is omnipotent..omniscient..and eternal..not Nrivana . Buddha said there is no such thing as god as that definition above . And his second opinion is even if there is a God it doesn't matter ..what matters is achieving nirvana .because Buddha said life is suffering which is the first noble truth . Why ? Because three things : disease..Old age ..death . And you will keep being born and die and born die endlessly unless you detach completely and attain enlightenment and then you exit samsara and be in nirvana forever. Nothing to do with God existing or not .Buddha doesn't even care about whether there is a god or not . Please try to understand. If you don't believe me then do the research.
  14. @Sempiternity the reason you "the ego " can't understand it is because Love is when you totally let go and surrender everything. Surrender your life .when I say "Surrender everything " I mean Surrender everything. Not just Surrender your goals and dreams ..Surrender your home ..Surrender your family ..Surrender your body ..leave your home and live in a cave not knowing how are you going to get food today . Stop acting like you are worth a fart or you know anything or that anything matters or that you can't just die now and face what you don't want to face..death . If your body were thrown in hell you will be in pain if you identify with the Body. But if you identify with the body and the hell then there is no problem. You care about things because your human self is limited .God is unlimited and unconditional..he doesn't care about anything. That's what love .Leo doesn't embody Love because he is still alive and eats and sleeps and makes money and talk. Love is death of you . You get it now why you "the ego " can't get it ?
  15. Muslims do not fuck goats. Get your information straight before posting misinformation.
  16. @Miguel1 he erased "you are Leo " from the signature.
  17. @Leo Gura Leo..a question please : And I don't know why you do this but when i compare your blog posts with your forum posts ..two different persons. ..you're watering yourself down for us to understand you ? We can understand you .the Miguel1 guy is falling in love with you ..many people here post way more impressive high quality posts than you ..I'm not saying you should throw word salady nerdy terms to sound deep. But I'm just wondering why you do this ? You remember Nahm ? That guy is very worth his salt about spirituality and he has "angel heart " a good person..(I understand unbanning him is undoubtedly undoable) but I don't like taking about "lizards ". Dude ..post blog post's type of posts on the forum .
  18. @Lunatic Nirvana is not God .enough blending fish with oats and creating a raspberry pie . During Buddha’s liftime the hindus believed in gods and attributed to "Brahman" all godly qualities. When buddha was asked if he considers himself god he cleary said no. When he was asked does God exist he clearly said this question is a waste of time . Buddha taught groundless. this means no functioning object can endure for a second moment of its own accord. therefore there is no such thing as an unchanging ...selfsupporting functioning God which exists somewhere.
  19. Which is what mohamed did as well . He awoke ..then praised God..then said fuck God cuz I'm God so let's play the game .
  20. 1-it doesn't matter because after the hustle and bustle there is no mohamed. he is in your head.mohamed is nothing he is imaginary. (Then why am I writing this ? Because I want to). 2- more down to earth historical perspective that assumes there is an objective world and a past (it's getting autistic no?😁)..yes legit enlightened. Even conscious of "God " .. people here shit on "enlightenment " and call it old school. The Quran mentions the word "God" almost in every other sentence .the most sacred text in the world with the word "God"( Allah in Arabic) mentioned in it. And if you listen to it in Arabic it's like poetry. Incredibly soothing and melodic. Now mohamed was illiterate..he couldn't write or read .. then all the sudden he composed a symphonic work of literature saying God is all powerful God is all knowing God is real ....out his arse ? 3- so definitely he's battling on the GOAT title with Christ and Buddha. Second biggest religion in the world is Islam after Christianity .and if you want to get real ..the west doesn't take Christianity seriously anyways anymore ..I mean people shag each other's on the beach so come on. So when you cancel out people who make tattoos of the cross on their "private parts ".. You cancel out a huge amount of people actually which makes islam actually the biggest religion in the world ..not Christianity . Muslims take their religion more seriously. 4- but what about the terrorism..what about the quranic verses that commands to kill non Muslims ..Muhammad was a pedophile..No profanity here ..it's literally historically documented that he married a 6 years old girl and had vaginal intercourse with her when she was 9 yo. He killed ..he had sex slaves ..etc ....so what's up with this? Simply..he basically decided to play the egoic game since ultimately he realized he is Allah and he can do whatever he wants . After he gained power he started attacking and waging wars and commanding "The lesser Jihad " by spreading the message of Islam with force and fight. (Because he wanted to)✌. .
  21. No obviously "pleasant" is subjective. A masochist enjoys torture.
  22. That's me years ago . Yes there is hope .I'm completely free of anxiety and panic attacks after suffering with it for years . Over the 2021 year ..I suffered from crazy panic attacks .and I made few posts about it here on the forum . I tried therapy of course. I saw a psychiatrist and he prescribed me some SSRI’S. Namely Prozac..Invega... and zyprexa. They have some nasty side effects (dry mouth ..needing to pee constantly. erectile dysfunction and lack of sexual interest). But they are 100% worth it . What SSRIs you take? Also you want to eat food that helps the brain to release feeling good chemicals (serotonin..dopamine etc). Like fish ..vegetables. you have anxiety about swallowing food or you have low appetite? Please clarify which one is it .. why do you throw up? The psychological aspect is not less important. What I did is I tried a meditation technique by watching the space between thoughts I" invented" this technique myself. What this meditation technique does is it blocks away the whole story of your past and the whole story about your future. And makes you 100% grounded in the present moment. And there is no anxiety to be found in the present. Anxiety is always about what's gone and what's coming. So when you block away every single thought about your history and your future and just stay with what's present...you will feel safe and secure.
  23. Your OP and title aren't related ..and no deal with it because Buddha didn't say anything about God . Buddha denied all of Hindu gods and goddesses. He rejected all of Hindu religion and went to seek enlightenment on his own.and specifically seeking liberation from suffering ..not the truth or some answers to existential questions. He actually teaches to his students that the question of God is totally irrelevant and not important and that they should seek the end of suffering instead and that talking about God is philosophical luxury. He didn't prove that the Hindu gods don't exist but he said they are not eternal. They are within samsara (the cycle of rebirth) just like humans . This is a quote from some blog online: "It is said that soon after his enlightenment the Buddha passed a man on the road who was struck by the Buddha’s extraordinary radiance and peaceful presence. The man stopped and asked, ~~~ My friend, what are you? Are you a celestial being or a god? No said the Buddha Well, then, are you some kind of magician or wizard? again the Buddha answered No Are you a man? No Well, my friend, then what are you? the Buddha replied I am awake ".
