@Thought Art there's no "maybe" when it comes to the Absolute. You are God in an infinite dream/game. The awesome part is it never ends...making you immortal . All of "human" experience is a bi-product of your dreaming...otherwise know as consciousness or awareness.

@Tim Ho Thank you! The reason I use the word game is to point you to the realization that the notion death has zero substance for any of us. This assumes you know who you truly are.. What makes life "serious" and "real" is the assumption that death itself is not imaginary. Yet....it is....again, from the Absolute perspective.

Says the ego who is afraid of death. Relatively speaking, your statement has a partial truth. From the Absolute perspective, life is nothing BUT a game

The game is also infinite, you never come out of the game! No matter what is happening in present experience, it's not real in the context of your true nature.

Merriam-Webster definition: belief and trust in and loyalty to God. Would love to see a metaphysical analysis of faith, looked at from a relative and absolute perspective.

@billiesimon you are imagining these beings from multiple perspectives. Not only in your own life experience as the fictional character you are, but you are also imagining their life experiences as the fictional characters they are. Their unconsciousness is your doing, God :-)

I'm 30. At this age, settling down (ideally) should start to hit the male psyche. We mature much slower than women, emotionally that is. It's not uncommon for younger women to date men 5-20 years older...we just take a bit longer to get our shit together but are amazing when we do

Although I love all you, this topic is specifically for heterosexual men of the forum . Of course everyone can chime in as well for the sake of increasing perspective. How would you define conscious pickup? Of course there a very basic things we know from standard pickup (don’t be a creep, have good hygiene, be confident and interesting etc.). These are all good, but wondering how awakening squares with dating and sex. I’d like to know how conscious pickup looks to you. Also, Leo promised us a ‘How To Get Laid’ series on his channel, so hoping he touches on some of this as well.

Contemplation note: in many spiritual teachings, it’s frequently mentioned that one needs to quiet the mind to access Truth. This is contextual. One context is the quieting of the ego mind, which is driven by the material aspect of life and is a master a breaking reality into separate parts. Understanding and mastery for the ego mind is understanding and mastery of survival, and nothing else. This level of looking at reality isn’t a bad thing per say, it just doesn’t stop there. There also exist another state of mind, one that is holistic and able to understanding reality in ways that are not rooted in survival, connects all aspects of reality and is super conscious of various ecosystems. We’re looking to increase this level of mind, not to quiet it. It includes rational/irrational, conventional/post conventional, materialistic/spiritual aspects of life. In short, It’s not about doing away with pragmatic understanding, it’s being able to master it and transcend it, as well as integrating it into the bigger picture of creation and mysticism . Ultimately, Spirituality is about the mind...just a higher version of it (your mind is all there is!) Advocating for one over the other deepens duality, and goes against the goal is of being able to merge all aspects of mind and reality into One ❤️

Haha this is true. For those of us who are advanced, we know these conversations are not happening with other users, but in our own minds. Still a lot of content to take a nugget or two from. Heightened levels of awareness are parallel to decreasing levels of interacting on the forum.

Definitely. You cannot reach a high state of consciousness while being bombarded with ego. It’s important to reach a state of conscious understanding, and use it to deepen the understanding and compassion for the ego mind. It’s a full circle

@Spiral all good points. For me the presence of deception, or lack thereof, is the primary measure of conscious vs. unconscious pick up. Of course, dating does require a bit of manipulation (you want to present your best self to even be considered worthy to sleep with), however how much time is spent deceiving and how deep it goes matters. Basically how big of a catfish are you ? (physically, emotionally, mentally, financially and spiritually). Some folks are really good in putting on fake fronts in each of these categories when it comes to pick up. Usually doesn’t sustain itself well

..and not from your eyes! Watching is not a physical endeavor happening in human biology, but a consciousness and awareness that has no origin. In this work, I'm finding the less we use words, the better. Watching (you can call it witnessing as well), has no use for language.

It strikes me how the human mind takes things that don’t move or have a “soul” for granted. As I become more conscious, I’m able to appreciate things that are normally mundane and boring...such as my couch, or a rock. They are creatures in a sense...they are alive. These things literally spawn from divine source. Becoming that divine source changes perspectives on animate and inanimate objects. But it’s so cool to make a distinction with the inanimate from a human lender vs. a God lense. Has anyone else experienced this while doing consciousness work?

Apologies if this is a repeated post. Is there any research or definitive answers on this? Awakening is so sweet, that it does become somewhat sad to consider that the work put in to have deep mystical insights will vanish if it can’t be retained in the next incarnation. I’m sure no one has actually proven this, but I guess it’s good to at least speculate it. Our egos are ultimately not in control of what stays and what goes after our human identity dies. After all, God can willing put itself back to sleep and start the process over again.

I’m a male in my early 30s. It seems like many of us that are my age are starting move further away from the wanting to build a traditional nuclear family. Me personally, I would love a wife and kids some day, but the anxiety around it is slowly decreasing. It is no longer one of those things I freak out about (but I still know plenty of people that do). Do you share the same orientation towards marriage and a family? Where is society going with this? How do genders and age groups differ on the subject? From a collective perspective, is this harmful or beneficial to the advancement of civilization?

@nistake love this! Yes absolutely everything is made of the same substance....nothing . The is where the notion of Oneness makes so much sense.
