Thought I’d share this with the group, as I’ve sometimes fallen into this trap. In short, we all need to realize that awakening alone will not solve all of the pragmatic complexities of human survival and well-being. I see a lot of forum users communicate in ways in which I can tell that there is lingering trauma, chaos in that person’s life. You can have a metaphysical and existential understanding of reality, and become frustrated with it because you still are in a low position on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Awakening will serve you maximally when your survival needs are met in a healthy way. Life is suffering, but it is also beautiful. Life is also eternal, so there is no escaping it. Mold your life into something beautiful on a material level, and your awakening will tie it all together. Good luck ??

@Thought Art thanks for sharing your story. It takes a lot of courage to be vulnerable. Instead of dissolving your Ego/sense of self, you may want to find ways to build it up, in a healthy way of course. Universal love starts with self love. Therapy, meditation, yoga and being in nature are good ways..one of many. Also, pay attention to your self talk. Exactly...all of this is resistance to God realization. You are God guys, therefore you can become enlightened..as God only, not your imaginary human identity.

Very eye opening. Culture wars can make it hard to see things from a meta perspective! Of course, the Green motivation (although bias in its own right) is higher consciousness than the Orange/Blue motivation for their anti-vax stance.

God realization requires that one take full responsibility for manifesting reality. You will need an attitude adjustment to live a good life, it is not possible through living in fear and blaming others. Life is what you make of it, you hold all the cards.

Mid Orange and below tends be anti-vax. These are also the same folks who think Covid is either a hoax, or see it as a reason to demonize anyone with Chinese ancestry. They can also put major emphasis into the idea of "elites" led by Bill Gates to destroy libertarian/conservative values they hold so dear by staging the pandemic. They hate science, and Anthony Fauci...probably more so. They don't have a very wide circle of concern essentially.

How do we develop a strong mind? Through enlightenment, leaving material reality means we have to master the mental. Just like trying to get physically strong by hitting the gym, what is a map of "working out" or developing the "fitness" of consciousness?

@BipolarGrowth Enlightenment at its essence is quite simple. It's the realization that you are God. One who comes to this is as enlightened as they'll ever be. The complexity is in the details, to get to this summation. Language only complicates the matter honestly. You must walk the path and put your trust into direct experience.

Can you feel into this? One thing that has been persistent throughout our entire lifetime is a state of watching...of witnessing. Who is the “I” that is watching? It’s extremely easy to answer this question with our human name....who’s backdrop is a human story of one that was born and one that will die. This is not true...the watching is done by the one we cannot point to. Infinity (me, Us, You, God) cannot ever be known materially. Only through the act of watching.

The question itself is relative. Is there there a purpose to spiritual work in the Absolute sense? As I get deeper, it almost feels like the “point” of enlightenment is to eventually let go of the “point” I constructed in the first place...which puts me where I was before I even embarked on the journey. Ugh...strange loop!

God is Aware = God is Watching. We speak the same language ❤️
