  1. Capitalism and systemic racism has been the root of many problems in the African American community, as well as other minority groups. The “welfare state”, backed by government, has done more for these communities with various federal assistance programs, not to mention voting rights, affirmative action, etc. I don’t see how any of this hurts Blacks in any significant way. What you are talking about is a basic conservative talking point that has no depth to it. Even the use of the term “welfare state” says you have some kind of bias against socialism, making you a pro capitalist. I am not saying one is better than the other, but to think more systemically about the issues. Capitalism in the U.S. needs reform through increased regulation to fight corruption of all kinds. You should really do a deep study into misogyny, to see if it resonates with you.
  2. Wouldn't the above statement imply that African Americans and their culture are to blame for this "worsening" ? (in actuality, Blacks are more successful and prospering than ever .. relative to the previous centuries in the history of the United States). I am curious to what your reasoning is behind such a statement.
  3. Not approaching due to some fantasy belief that you’ll get in legal trouble is new to me. When did this excuse come about? I doubt this happens for people who know what they are doing.
  4. Weak family structures are often the result of systemic racism caused by toxic/regressive elements of stage blue and orange, through years of oppression of minorities in the U.S. Slavery, Jim Crow, the war on drugs and racial wealth gap disparities are but a few examples. Be careful in thinking that there are innate moral issues with an entire race of people, without seeing the system elements behind it. Going too far with this kind of disposition gets you into racist territory.
  5. I already mentioned that if your emotions are getting triggered from interacting with someone who is constantly interrupting you, then you should minimize or cease contact. It’s not about “teaching that person a lesson”. You need to take responsibility for what you’ll tolerate and not tolerate in a mature way.
  6. @Yidaki Seems like your attempting to push an anti-vax stance, while at the same time not trying to get flagged for it. It is hypocritical to passively share your views, and simultaneously deny others from sharing their views.
  7. Sounds like you are in favor of a patriarchal society where men are the breadwinners, and where the womens primary purpose is to serve men. Hate to break it to you, but that is not where society is evolving to. Its an old paradigm and way of being that will perish as new generations blur what we deem “traditional” gender roles and the nuclear family. Regressive forces cannot stop this, it’s part of nature .. an evolution towards higher consciousness and love.
  8. Sounds like an ego driven approach. Quite immature.
  9. Thought this was a good analysis on some of the issues related to race and wealth in the U.S. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHkVvdPqvH4 Systemic racism is a function of crude capitalism. You have to go beyond simplistic talking points (that are a bi-product of today's culture wars) to get the truth about history and how to progress forward.
  10. Your birth and the subsequent years after that is also an hallucination. Life is an Infinite trip
  11. Sounds like you have a significant dislike for humanity. Keep and mind that they've done (and still do) a lot of great things too.
  12. What if you never were a person, or any person(s) to begin with?
  13. Depends on what you mean by raising consciousness. There are humans who care about animal rights, but have no idea that they are living in a dream .. but that's not necessary per say when it comes to animal rights advocacy. Information sharing is a very basic method of raising awareness towards animal rights. And there are plenty institutions, and organizations that do this. i would recommend either joining or donating such groups that advocated for causes you are passionate about.
  14. Women like whatever the opposite is of needy / clingy men. The opposite of a needy / clingy man is an asshole .. but it's also more than that. It can also be a man who is loving and respectful, but also does not need her to be happy and fulfilled He also should know how to have fun and not take himself too seriously.
  15. You can insult girls, just give them a disclosure beforehand .. that should lighten the mood. Example: Guy - "hey, I'm about to insult you" (pauses, waits for response) Girl - "huh or what?" (she'll probably giggle if she doesn't take herself too seriously Guy - (proceed with whatever bogus insult)
  16. Start by writing a list of 10 - 20 things you like and appreciate about yourself. Be sincere. Go over that list for five minutes for 30 days.
  17. @Leo Gura you created a mega-thread for forum users to share stories of how we've been scammed - in promising a video on how to avoid it. Any update? Thanks!
  18. More like women are more socially sophisticated than men. This is because they more feelings oriented over logic, and it shows in the socialization / maintenance of relationships. This is a positive trait that women don't get credit for. They balance out the social dysfunctions of men quite well.
  19. The problem is you are wanting someone to assure you. You need to take responsibility for being stuck in wage slavery, either you are going to do something about it or not. Yes.
  20. The only way you'll find out is to actually do the work to escape wage slavery.
  21. The notion of faith is deeper than this, I would say. Faith is a tool for grounding, what you decide to put your faith in is up to you. It could be money, fame, sex, religion, science and many other aspects of reality...etc, etc. Ultimately, one needs to have faith in the highest aspect of reality .. which is Truth itself.
  22. Of course .. specifically fear of failure, or even fear of success. Celebrity actors and Tom Brady most likely felt fear in their pursuits, but persisted (passion is a key ingredient). Also, escaping wage slavery does not mean you need to be the next Brad Pit or Tom Brady .. it should be rooted in your life purpose and top values.
  23. @Hardkill Not sure why you are probing this so deeply, are you conflicted on if you should escape wage slavery or not? You are right that escaping wage slavery isn't for everyone, but those who deem it not right for them is not because of some external circumstance, they are simply comfortable with being a wage slave, or they have other fear / limiting beliefs.
  24. This is my first online forum experience, and from what i can tell .. online forums seems to be very attractive to socially dysfunctional people. I keep my expectations quite low .. after all, you can't really connect or get to know a person's true character from just interacting with them on the internet.
  25. Be careful of freely giving out the title of "enlightened" to other humans beings, especially if you haven't reached it yourself. This is a quick way to get preyed upon by Zen devils.
