If you had gone to Adi Shankaracharya in the middle ages and asked him to teach you Advaita Vedanta, he would of said you weren’t ready and you would have to do service in hopes of being qualified to learn Vedanta in the next lifetime. The question is if we can use tools such as psychedelics to cut down the time it takes to get into deeper states of awareness.

I have been looking for spiritual tour groups that visit holy places but haven't found anything good yet. I think that would be the most efficient way to use the resources and time. If you aren't in to spirituality, than India is a waste of time. The other thing is the brutal trip from the USA, all the flights seem to take about 30 hours to get there.
