  1. Not sure if paranormal abilities work that way. I once had a paranormal manifestation (really crazy one but I don't want to mention what it was) and I didn't think for a second that I was God. It was just intense joy and I was too small to understand complex concepts about God or the world.
  2. I'm sorry if I sounded too harsh. I'm open to other possibilities as well but since time is not linear (although this is how our brains process reality), it isn't so far-fetched to think that the world doesn't keep going on right from the moment we die. That's common sense. Maybe there's a 4th dimension and we're only eternal in space and time since information cannot be destroyed. At least, that's how I see it, I might be wrong though.
  3. What makes you think that you will leave this "world" behind? There are only minds experiencing the passage of time which is a matter of perspective. Do you people really think that it's 2020 and the universe waits for us to evolve further? Things are a lot more stranger.
  4. Maybe there are infinite subjective truths that manifest in this objective reality? Just guessing, I wonder if existence is entirely subjective too.
  5. But if I use my imagination to create something physical so that you can see what's in my mind, that thing will be: 1. Objective reality because that just popped into existence independently of your mind or... 2. Subjective because you're the only one seeing it with your physical eyes?
  6. Our subjective experiences create this objective reality at this very moment. Yay
  7. I share your point of view, actually I think you said something really interesting "A person is never conscious. A person is in consciousness.". But I still don't understand the subjective/objective reality. Leo says that everything is our imagination and that's true since no one can experience our subjective reality. However, there's also an objective reality that happens independent of our minds, right? So, is reality objective or subjective? Can someone explain that to me?
  8. Outside infinite? LOL. If there is no internal or external, then reality is objective or subjective?
  9. So that would basically mean that the outside reality is an inside function of myself?
  10. Then reality is subjective or objective? Are there things outside the mind?
  11. Nope, I just try to accept that things can happen without any specific reason. And it helps me withhold my judgement. If bad things happen, I just think that they were supposed to happen. If God is everything, then it must be the devil as well.
  12. Maybe there's no reason to know or to be awake, we just are and that's it. God doesn't need a reason to exist. The difference is only in our minds and that leads to judgement.
  13. If it is life itself, then you experience God just by being alive. So both the child and the enlightened one are equal in the God's eye.
  14. But if a child dies, he will ever know anything? Why do we have to rationally understand God? I think that both the child and the awakened one experience God through the simple act of living.
  15. I think that things happen without any purpose - fortune, misfortune, good, bad are all human concepts.
  16. There are rules, otherwise you would start to disintegrate and there would be no "you" in the first place. What makes you believe that there is life after death?
  17. What if we are nothing but the product of the Universe's qualia? The Universe could be dreaming.
  18. Not sure if it works that way. I've had some sleep hallucinations which looked real AF and the beings seemed to have a life of their own. This made me think that maybe life could be similar to a really complex hallucination (not in a literal sense though). Also, how do we know if we're not some kind of philosophical zombies programmed to see/feel things? There are dozens of scenarios... reality could be indeed weirder than that.
  19. Apparently, God has no purpose... it just IS. I used to talk to God and I imagined it having human qualities... that was a mistake, I guess
