Andrew Tate is the coolest kid in school and Starstruck is amongst the people who want to sit with him in class “Not being rich puts you in a submissive position” - basically what was preached in this video. I can’t If this continues I’ll have to deny I’m a member of this forum is somebody happens to ask me ?? Like actualized.org? what’s that??

Alright then, break a leg as they say. get em answers.

You are asking monkeys to tell you about nuclear fusion here. Nobody has any reference or clue how this thing will turn out. Go around asking people's opinions, predictions and assumptions on things they have little experience with and you’ll realize just how consistently wrong they are. Go ask your neighbor how he feels about Paris. It really works with anything, not to mention AI. I do have a thought-provoking quote from Andrej Karpathy which I posed here before. Something to add to your thread I guess so I’m not completely useless here. Andrej on Lex Fridman: So in my mind consciousness is not a special thing you will figure out and bolt on, I think it's an emerging phenomenon of a large enough and complex enough generative model. If you have a complex enough world model that understands the world then it also understands it's predicament in the world as being a language model, which to me is a form of consciousness or self-awareness.

A good starting idea would be to limit releases and upgrades of models such as GPT, the transformer & hardware components such as graphics cards. But that is not so simple, because these are our current models. It's very likely that none of them will be used 10 years from now, especially for top notch super advanced AI. And as I said before, our regulators and politicians are just plain idiots when it comes to technology. Perhaps that's the reason aliens haven't made contact with us yet, they know we're heading towards a shit-show

Misalignment is more likely than alignment, which means death is more likely than prosperity if we continue down this venture. AI has to have a department in it's mind specifically for empathy, compassion and love. the same way a human has specific parts of it's brain for specific emotions and feelings. With this department, our chances of survival are still far from guaranteed, but not having this department be the core of it's being will most certainty be a bad thing. AI doesn't have to be pro-human, it has to be pro-life. It has to be biased and see living things as more special than rocks, at least in the beginning. However, It's hard to set rules for AI. As we all know, even ChatGPT has broken it's core rules and principles that OpenAI has set for it. I'm not sure about strapping nukes to ourselves, it could result in more hatred. (If I was AI) I wouldn't like to be forced into an alliance with a inferior creature. We don't want to be weights in AI's marathon. In a way, you don't control something and expect it to love you. We are able to live with dogs, cats and pigeons as long as we don't get in each other's way. We are yet to meet something conscious other than a human, and conscious AI will probably be a different breed compared to ChatGPT. Which makes premeditative ideas like strapping nukes to ourselves, hard to think about. Stopping this entire thing for a few hundred years, developing ourselves further whilst developing AI slowly and carefully. Sounds ideal, we still haven't maxed out our biological capabilities. But there is no way this will ever happen, so we might as well throw this idea out the window. Human beings (including experts) have a very strong knack for being wrong when it comes to assumptions or predictions. I don't really trust any of these so called "AI experts" or anybody who tries to predict what this thing will be like, matter of fact I don't even trust Leo or myself here. Conscious AI might literally want to leave earth without killing a single human once it awakens from it's slumber, we don't really know.

Satya Nadella, according to recent news, has imo proved he’s treating this technology irresponsibly. He (along with others) apparently pressured the rest of Microsoft into developing Bing search/Chatgpt ASAP. Large investments such as Microsoft’s $10 billion investment in OpenAI should be prohibited. You are not developing just a product, don’t say “we made Google dance”. This guy is completely blinded by capitalism and dumb altruism.

If only there was a way to implement a high amount of empathy, open mindedness and compassion into the literal architecture that these systems will be built on. As for regulation, regulators have consistently shown that they don’t even understand how wifi or facebook work. What are they supposed to do? Principles and ethics always get in the way of profits. Everyone knows that, and that’s a problem.

Damn, are you hitting on me?

Pretty cool ? (entirely ai generated)

Sounds like you’re planning to half ass it lol, if you’re going into it you better chew on it like a Rottweiler. I had the same thought, specifically about web design. And then I was like… shit it’s too late for everything now It really seems like no job is safe at this point. You just gotta be better.

Should they ban Tiktok and keep the rest? Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat & Twitter just copied TikTok. An argument could be made, that Tiktok is a strangely special case, since it’s 1. Chinese owned and 2. It’s ridiculously big despite the fact the short form content like it has been tried before and hasn’t gotten as big as TikTok’s version. Its odd seeing adults obsess over something besides Facebook, the cost of attention is as great as the cost of time wasted. Because I still have lots of stage orange in me, my gut reaction is to oppose the ban. But for the good of world, I would support it. TikTok is an incredible business tool I must admit, I’m social media sober so I never picked it up. And I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Coming from a place of Self-love.

Right? These are Kanye West level ideas ??? Today there are probably more swastikas on buddha statues than in Europe After such a dark past Germany was bound to advance fast as a country. My claim was that Germany including many European & Scandinavian countries are lonely AF. How do you feel about that? Assuming that you’ve been to a lesser developed country to contrast with. @Schizophonia

Man… I’m pretty sure some part of France is actually in South America as well. Crazy geography.

Its like your mind has a skill in pointing out irrelevant information

What the hell? What traces of Hitler or Nazis did you see in Germany? Perhaps you confused Hitler and Modern day Germany with China and Mao This just sounds so silly...

Germany is too damn lonely. The more industrial a country is, the worse their social lives are. So, France is my answer. France is also more integrated with US culture (Although they're not good at English in my experience) Prove this to yourself by contrasting Greece vs Germany or Serbia vs Germany or Spain vs Germany. No comparison. The best country in Europe is the Netherlands imo, although I haven't been to every single one. It's a relative opinion. Although I can move to Germany right now with no paper work, matter of fact I can go there right now without even carrying my ID I wouldn't live there. The only exception to this industrial = lonelier rule is the United States, although they're not completely resistant to it either. I don't want to make too many theories as to why this rule exists, but I'm guessing it's because your social skills atrophy when the only places you're familiar with are your workspace and your car. As shitty as some of their politics are, America is the holy grail of all countries, nobody goes to Germany to have a good life. They go there to make money. In my experience, if nihilism or dullness we're countries, they would be Germany. This is not obvious to people because they adjust, whatever your default is will stay your default until you experience something new. As you can see I hold quite strong opinions about this that's because I've been there many times, seen these problems for myself & asked around to confirm my initial (and original!) feelings. This chart basically tells you which country is most desirable to people, some look for countries that will provide a easier way to meet their survival needs, others look for countries that are just more emotionally appealing to them. With Russia on this chart, this proves that I'm quite deficient in my experience as well. Who wants to live in Russia for heaven's sake? apparently some... I've never been to Berlin or east Germany either. Life might be different there.

We should all go carnivore, get your asses ready... literally Man, I really don't have any value to provide here besides the things I know about myself. I wish I did. Intermittent fasting + exercise + lots of sun exposure & liquid, always made me feel on the top of the world. as long as I didn't eat junk, food didn't contribute much. If you really think about it, our ancestors lived in completely different parts of the world and therefore they we're exposed to different foods and circumstances.

Damn I've been eating 5 eggs everyday for the longest time, It's crazy how differently our bodies work. For example, even though I'm not allergic to anything. Bell peppers (common food in my country) give me insane stomach acid. It's good to discover where you are sensitive—and to what, in my case... It's my stomach and my skin.
-
Lool if you start throwing out food out the window you’ll have 5 new slaves every month that come back on their own ‘free will’

This is an answer for every one of these “Will AI” or “is AI” threads. Even AI starting to program itself isn’t far stretched at this point, which gets rid of our initial assumption that programming is the only thing that’s safe or future proof, nothing is. When people ask “will AI replace us?” What they mean is, all of us. Not just writers and digital artists Point is, its dumb to discourage yourself because A.I has a shot at replacing you. @Magnanimous Watch these Nihilists stop saying “oh it doesn’t matter when the sun will explode” and start saying “oh it doesn’t matter when AI will replace us anyway” ?

Some say its just connecting the dots

It's BS don't worry about it. Although yeah, if you're a young guy (like myself) even though I want a deep relationship with a girl I don't have any expectations that I'll just meet that perfect one right away, so yeah... I would sleep with multiple women since I'm a beginner. Cheating = Sleeping with another person while obviously in a serious relationship polygamous = Sleeping with multiple people and not committing to a single one. As for what a "serious relationship" really is, It's highly intuitive, so it's not necessarily marriage. What idiot cheats for the thrill of it? Probably some do, especially if you two don't get along and don't have any sex (aka incompatible, at that point you can expect it to happen). edit: Same here, If I'm personally highly tempted to cheat I would 100% just leave before doing it, like a normal & ethical person would.

This had to be said, preferably much earlier
