  1. @Leo Gura I agree. Your teaching is the exact opposite of Solipsism as far as I'm aware. People who make these assumptions against you don't understand how the human mind works and hypnotises us all into individual imaginary realities.
  2. If you're looking for enlightenment then what's the point in debating people or trying to school them? Isn't that kind of behaviour getting in the way? Isn't the path to enlightenment letting the mind slow down and just trying to be with direct experience as much as possible? I don't see how there is much to say about anything in that state. That's why for me it feels very authentic. Soon after I have to start interacting with another I lose that sense of well being and I'm feeling lost again in knowing What are your thoughts about debates? Is it helpful or do you find talking a distraction to direct experience?
  3. @Inliytened1 @Raptorsin7 @Guru Fat Bastard +1 @Guru Fat Bastard (love the username by the way)
  4. @Leo Gura Leo, do you think that those who need to be right attract each other and find each other as they both think they are right so because everyone is them they attract that back and get a life of people trying to tell them they are wrong, and vica versa? Like the law of attraction?
  5. @SuperMilkbox One thing I know about narcissism is there is always envy and resentment. If you don't have envy and resentment you're more than likely just very sensitive, which is a positive thing. There is also a huge disconnect between real life skills and their perception of their skills . Narcissists tend to over evaluate the skills they have and usually demand respect more than is due. That's why they get upset easily because normal people see someone who is very immature and the narcissist can't understand why people aren't giving them more admiration. If you don't have all that going on then you're ok. I don't feel you are narcissistic from reading your material
  6. @mandyjw @mandyjwok, but there is an outside world?
  7. @mandyjw Im just curious, but isn't what you're saying a kind of solipsism? Solipsist have decided that there is no way to know anything outside of their own mind. I'm naturally solipsistic because I observed very carefully how nobody really understands what im trying to say, so over a long period of time I just couldn't help but come to the conclusion that everyone is just trapped in a mind , unable to get out , but they believe that what they are seeing and interacting with is an outside world. I believe in an outside world, so I'm not the extreme kind of Solipsist, but I just can't see a time where any real communication ever took place.
  8. @TDW1995 I get the feeling that all people are socially anxious. I think if you believe in others and that you're seperate there will always be anxiety. So don't be so hard on yourself, I'm hoping that enlightenment will not cure anxiety, but show me that it never existed in the first place
  9. Does anyone have information on how to do the law of attraction to change my life? I'm always thinking about what I don't want and I've observed that things keep going that way on a downward spiral. So I figured that there might be some truth to the LOA and i joined the site to create distilled piece about what we currently know about the LOA. It would be great to get all the up to date information here on one megathread that will help everyone who is interested. Any takers?
  10. LOA

@Nahm Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for, maybe the LOA is real after all? Lol @Raptorsin7 Yeah I'm really really glad to hear that...let's get this thing going! @Arcangelo Thanks for the advice. It's funny you mention visualization because the last few days I decided to use my imagination to visualize what I wanted from this life and my mind began with my own home, and guess what? I met a gentleman who is about to retire in the sunshine in Cyprus in march when he turns 67 and he bombarded me with advice on the best ways to go about buying a home there for a very very cheap price. @VeganAwake Why not? I think if I give gratitude for what I do already have then it can only get better. Thanks for responding
  11. @Rilles I cured a brain tumor using activated charcoal.
  12. Have you thought deeply enough about spiral dynamics beige? He's talking about pre-hominid and correlating that with early human infancy. But monkeys are more advanced than human babies, monkeys have a sense of self, they build communities, they have more going on than basic physiological drives to eat, sleep and defacate. This is where I think sometimes that spiral dynamics isn't really all its cracked up to be. How can early hominids be less developed than most apes? It makes no sense.
  13. @Roy Its a better set of beliefs. Look man, what's the alternative? Sitting in some bar letting a drunk lonely dude bore the living fuck out of you while you politely try to make conversation because you're told that if you don't play by "their" rules you're a loser?
  14. @mikey1028 Of course her love is conditional, what else do you expect. But what she is doing is not really loving you, she's using you to fill a hole in her soul. Conditional love is neediness dressed up as love. The question is do you think it's fair that you continue to let her live this lie with you? I think you're stuck in denial and not seeing her "love" for what it truly is.
