  1. No. All cows are artificially inseminated to ramp up dairy production. This is standard practice. Plus, animals and dairy especially, have natural hormones present in them. & Rest assured, it isn't testosterone.
  2. What? Whatever you may think is bad in fruits veg. Meat is 1000 worse. First of all, animals are fed the lowest quality plant food.   3. We are primates, it is clear that we were meant to eat plants. Everything in our physiology points toward this being the case. Now in actuality, were are opportunistic eaters, we eat whatever we can to survive. What about thriving? Our gut microbiota thrives on fiber because we co-evolved with them in a symbiotic relationship for millions of years, and primates always ate fiber. That's why when people cut off plants the gut bacteria that ferment fiber and produce butyrate die. And when there is no butyrate, your immune system starts to become dysfunctional and leads to autoimmune diseases. Low butyrate levels are taken as a sign of you starving by your gut bacteria, then they turn on you. Because no one purposefully avoided plants. That how much this built in our physiology, not to mention all the other things like teeth, digestive track etc. Or how about that we don't have enzymes to transport Sialic Acid (found in animal products) which is linked to inflammation and disease. It is clear we are meant to eat predominantly plants. You can still eat a little meat if you want, but a vegan/mostly vegan diet is our species diet. We are one species. Sure, you might be allergic to peanuts, and I'm not. We are different, but not that different. That's why there are thousands of edible plants to choose from. You are an anomaly because you have SIBO. Other people have such bad gut health they literally can't digest a bean burrito because of how shitty they have been eating all their life. That doesn't vegan diet doesn't work for you. It means your gut isn't working for you.

And someone can have no idea what awakening is and be a pacifist (Like bertrand russel). Waking up doesn't necessarily correlate with Growing Up, although of course there is some correlation.

You guys have no fucking idea what addiction is. You think anyone who takes a psychedelic more than twice a week is an addict. It is clear you have a bias against substances, and thus your criterion of "abuse" is false. Addiction entails a disruption in the socio-biological function of the addict. I don't see that here, and psychedelics are one of the few chemicals where such disruptions (especially biological) are very low. LOL, the fact that you use the term natural and unnatural shows that you have yet to break this duality. Even dogmatic scientists know that such distinctions are opaque. Buddhist monks used to drink green tea before meditation to aid in concentration. Does caffeine's action as an adenosine antagonist and L-theanine actions (increase cerebral concentrations of GABA) count as unnatural? Psychedelics are no different. Serotonergic Psychedelics especially are, in fact, more "natural" than caffeine because many of them (DMT, 5-MEO) are endogenous compounds, and others are analogs of endogenous neurotransmitters. Calling any chemical and its influence on the brain "artificial" is a misnomer. They are chemicals acting upon your neurons, nothing more natural than that. You can disagree or say they shouldn't be used. But calling it artificial is false. I think the bias is because you guys feel like it’s a “magic pill” that isn’t natural, like someone taking steroids to gain muscle. When in reality, it is more like using a telescope instead of only your eyes, yet you are still using your eyes.

  8. cheating is one thing; sexual freedom is another. I personally have thick skin and don't jealous easily. My first gf cheated on me (I was 18) and it did hurt me a lot. Now, I don't think about cheating because I'm radically honest and I don't put myself in situations where I would need cheat. I don't think cheating is a deal breaker, and if the lie didn't go on for years or something like that, I would forgive her. Luckily, I haven't experienced monogamous relationships since I was 18 (24 now)
  9. @somegirl, I think you are wrong, some guys do use it to justify cheating, but that doesn't explain why the desire to cheat was there in the first place—two different things. As a girl, you will never understand what it feels like to be a man and what arouses us isn't the same as what arouses you. Stable relationships are not contingent upon monogamy. As I said, you can still make it work, and some guys are okay with it. But most guys aren't, that's just the truth. I have formed a stable non-monogamous relationship.
  10. @somegirl It really is the nature of the male mind to gravitate towards sexual variety, no matter how much more conscious I become as a person, this has remained with me since I was a teenager till this moment. As you can see, many men will tell you the same. The keyword here is "gravitate" some men might be really insecure and will not risk losing their gf so they will not do it, some men are not comfortable with cheating and if they can't find a partner who will be willing to be in an open relationship, they won't do it. Some men will repress it for religious reasons, etc etc. If you want my opinion on it, I think we are emotionally monogamous but not sexually. So it depends on what your definition of monogamy is, as per the standard definition, I would say the majority of men are non-monogamous. Of course, some are.
  11. @somegirl I think women do not appreciate how much men's arousal is triggered by a new experience. Anything novel will trigger dopamine. If you do it with the same person for a year, you will start to lose your arousal. If you start to have sex with another person, and then you have sex with your gf again, it will feel new and you feel much aroused. Women do not want to hear this, but it is the truth. This is why I am a proponent of open relationships. I have been in one for a year, and I absolutely love it and I love her more than anything. It is such a relief to not have to choose between sexual freedom and romantic love. It is hard, it requires constant awareness of egoic emotions, but it is worth it.

  15. He said that this because his mind is always in a state of creative influx of imagery. I can relate to this, and this is the exact reason why meditation is harder for me than for maybe you. Not ego-related. When I take psychedelics I am liberated from my ego-mind (not fully) and yet this influx of creative imagery is enhanced 1000000%! Also, Leo has taken multiple meditation retreats where he meditates for 5 hours straight / meditates almost daily for 45 mins - 1 hour for years so I don't think Leo is slacking off when it comes to meditation or that his ego is preventing him from doing so.

But what is remarkable about sulforaphane is the potent induction of NRF2 and the catalyzation and conjugation of glutathione. Any evidence for that? I have never heard of that in all the time I have been researching nutrition. I am highly skeptical of that claim especially because there is so much research into sulforaphane and its having a negative impact on heavy metals was not found, in fact, it seems the opposite is the truth from Jed Fahey who is a phytochemist and an expert in sulforaphane and health. I am highly skeptical of people who use certain facts of biochemistry to extrapolate that to form an opinion on a complex system, like detoxification. For example (as a thought experiment), it could be that people who have very high levels of mercury will not benefit from sulforaphane, but people who have low to medium levels of mercury do. Or maybe they benefit before exposure but not during, or after one month of exposure but not one day. In reality, this is how nutrition actually works. Saying a compound harms you in X condition because it contains an X structure is very limited and unholisitic. Especially knowing that NRF2 influences every system in your body.

  20. Yes I can't say yes or no, but you'd be surprised how much the human body is capable of healing if we give it what it needs. People with worse conditions have been cured, so why not?
