  1. @Chumbimba If you're paranoid, lack serotonin, and you aren't satisfied with your life, get that sorted out and then trip from a place of love, this should keep ya safe I personally have a schizophrenic relative and have taken mushrooms and LSD multiple times. Nothing triggered in me, or at least not yet from the doses I took. Just be cautious. What I did to prepare for my trips was I started micro-dosing LSD for a month and slowly increasing the dose so that my brain was getting used to being on these chemicals, then after that, I took the heavier doses.

  3. @Leo Gura Let me clarify... You're suggesting that in some cases paranoid schizophrenia could be psychic ability that is un-tamed? What brings you to this conclusion? You've probably been to a psychic. If so, could you share your experience?
  4. This is my current understanding: Self-Conscious: Being preoccupied with thoughts about who one is, how they are perceived, and how they look, how they behave. This is commonly described as being insecure or having low self-esteem. Following along with their thoughts and not being observant of the thoughts themselves. Self-Aware: Observing one's inner emotions and reactions, observing the thoughts, sensations, feelings, and images that arise in one's field of perception. One could be aware of one's self-conscious tendencies, and that would be described as self-awareness of self-consciousness. Any insights on this distinction or anything related to this, from the reader, are greatly appreciated.
  5. @Preetom Thanks for taking the time to write that. Question: I'm assuming one needs to develop to the 2nd stage (ego is aware of its own contents) in order to transcend it himself. Is this the case? Personal question: Have you become aware in the way you speak of in the third level?
  6. @Preetom said: Could you elaborate? Seeing my thoughts and seeing the emotional biases I have and being detached from that Is not self-awareness but ego? Elaborate! Hehe, I really want to get down to the heart of this.
  7. Isn't this experience agitating and annoying? Isn't this just layering of meta-thoughts in your short-term memory and that itself is a thought? I have this thinking process quite often (thinking about my thinking about my thinking and so on...) and I'm annoyed by this experience as It confuses me. In fact, as I'm writing this, I'm thinking "well this stuff about short-term memory itself is a thought" and then "well this thought about short term memory being a thought is itself another thought" and the chain goes until I lose track of what I was thinking about. It exhausts me Hehe. What is your take on this? Is this spiritual development? Is this what "self-awareness" is? Or is this self-conscious/insecure behavior?
  8. @Leo Gura What is your opinion of the following comment
  9. It is very instinctual to structure actualized.org as a tribe where Leo is the leader and then there are the superiors (moderators) and the rest are followers. You do this tribal-hierarchy-organization thing everywhere you go: with friends, at your job, with family, at any event... Great post, it points out the obvious.
  10. @HP Lovecraft I find that the right way to depend on Leo is to use his videos as a reference to personal experience.
