  1. I am working on it for 30 years. Reprogramming can make it worse. Never going to be a japanese in this life.
  2. @DreamScape Well every child learns the same language. I don't think things would work out if the child could decide if it wants to learn the language of his country. Though you could say that is indoctrination. Or go further let him give the chance to do its peeing in his bed. Allow everything. Let him play with fire.
  3. We are supposed to vote for the Democrats but we are not allowed to teach children cleaning? Is cleaning conservative?
  4. @XeRnOg I have the same problem. I can fly. I try to help other people to fly but they don't believe me. They say I should prove it. What is wrong with the people? I just want to help.
  5. On paper they are a democracy but they still follow hierarchical totalitarian principles in a milder form I guess. Plus they are xenophobe and racist. That makes social control easier. Something that liberals in the US might not want.
  6. @Parththakkar12 One challenge ist that you lose your identity. You are not willing to fight for your civilization against barbarians. You might not be interested in having kids so your civilization dies out. This is one problem in Europe. Fake identity gives your ego a reason to live. Having no identity weakens the will to live. Buddha didn't care if he survived
  7. Additionally the were the epitome of an empire. It was also not the case that they got totally destroyed buy the huns and mongols. So it's reasonable that they keep institutions.
  8. Yes even empires break down the potential is not completely lost. Many old cultures kept a form of their identity or story. If religions can last through time why should cultures not be able to do it? Very good to see the Anglo cultures who are synchronized throughout the earth globe.
  9. One perspective could be that the push comes mostly from nordic nations. The climate in nordic nations are "fascist". There is no room for mistakes. If the nordic countries became muslims they would have changed it to their needs to make it more effective like they did it with christianity. To some degree you could see it with the nordic muslims the turcs. They were the only real danger to Europe. The advantage of the nordic nations may be equalized with time though.
  10. I am shocked Fox news criticizing Trump.
  11. I guess in some extrem cases it's more clear. Then the victim got blinded and groomed by charm and power.
  12. Ok I saw the video. They can play the game if they get validation out of it but this seems to the case with normal people too. Sometimes you do your job why it is necessary to be "nice" if it hurts your job?
  13. Is this true? A educated narcissist might play the game to get what he wants, no?
  14. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/24/magazine/how-hillary-clinton-became-a-hawk.html hint: stockholm syndrom is not a good thing in general https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_syndrome
  15. Maybe you should not make so many assumptions. I know their history so what? The point nowadays is they want to grab some land which may not belong to them. So what to do about it?
  16. One perspective could be that they are like a bug in the system. If the system is really good the bug challenges the system. A ood system overcomes it and becomes even more anti fragile. If not the system breaks down. Interestingly big warmachines like the mongols or the turks saw themselves as the punishment of god. Interestingly the Christians saw them as that as well.
  17. I can't see that people in general change too much at their core. I think technology makes the difference. Marx may have been right with that. Normal life is too stressful to develop oneself and then the society. If you do it too early you may make an irreversible mistake or some magic happens and you jump stages
  18. No he does not. He is not a war hawk. Hillary would have taken over Syria and Libya. If you are weak you have to join the stronger party. Then sometimes an affection happens. It's called Stockholm Syndrom https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_syndrome
  19. Not really. Germany has no respected army lately. You can not have real influence without it. You are prone to Stockholm Syndrome without it. In Libya and Syria you see how Europe was without influence. Europe lived in the shadow of the US. Without the US it is naked. 20. I guess I formulated it wrong. I meant North Europe. Sweden, Finland and so on. They have nice standards but against China they are as powerful as ants.
  21. @Roy Really? They would not fight regarding Tibet, Taiwan, Hongkong, Xingyang? .https://theconversation.com/chinas-military-might-is-much-closer-to-the-us-than-you-probably-think-124487
