  1. Sure, there is some truth to that, but I'm not talking about the mere extinction of some little species. I will just copy another post of mine because I think it draws the image very well: Don't think that we can outsmart death forever..
  2. Yeah that might have sealed the deal. Shrooms can be fragile depending on how they're stored. You could technically make an extract to avoid this issue entirely, but you might also simply make sure that they're stored correctly.
  3. How did you store them?
  4. You know what's also a bad idea? Not acknowledging God when in its presence. So state thy name, for ye are the eternal light.
  5. You've had encounters with what you believe God to be. God exists prior to anything you could encounter. God is the substance of everything. The substance of "you". There are distinctions between the human identity and God that can made, but the line isn't clear. You are soaked in divinity, dreaming up false Gods, as you go about your days as a human. Do you know who/what is being the human, when you say "I am a human", is what I'm curious about? Because, Oh lord! Do I have a story to tell.
  6. Or in other words: You want answers from others without even understanding yourself. Try it for yourself. Invalidate what we're saying as much as you can. Fight it with all your might. In the end, is what I'm saying, Love will always win.
  7. @MellowEd You're avoiding the point. You can't even explain the existence of your so called elements (which is the same as what scientists do when they claim that there is a thing such a smallest bit of information), which is simply because there is no ground to any of this man. Like there is literally no ground we're in complete free fall here. You could cut up the reality we're in in an infinite array of pieces, but there is only one way to glue it together. That way is Love. Love is God. God is Consciousness. It's literally as simple as that. We're on planet Zinzong, blasted into outer space, just having the time of our lives waiting for you fools to catch up and join the party! And your out there asking about elements. Okay now I'm just fucking with you. It's all good man take all the time you need.
  8. @MellowEd Then what is the question made from?
  9. We're glad that you're enjoying the 2024 experience of "Life on Earth". Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we feel excited about the opportunity to deliver you an exceptional experience throughout your upcoming journey!
  10. If "you" are not God, then how did "you" create this question?
  11. Can we take a moment to appreciate that you would've been literally fucking burned at the stake for saying such a thing back in the days? It's crazy how far love has come, though it never goes anywhere.
  12. Another reminder to be grateful for the next breath you will take, because that freedom isn't for granted. You could loose it any day. .
  13. I think every movie with a good plot twist would fit on this list. Watching the movie a second time will provide an entirely different experience. Simple lines of dialogue could suddenly take on a whole different meaning. I personally liked Shutter Island for that reason. Here is a quick explanation of the plot twist, if you've seen the movie. If you haven't I can really recommend it if you like psychological thrillers.
  14. This is funny. Fighting rebel groups in oder to help the established power is exactly what America has being throughout countless countries in the world. Pro-Russians will act like it's the bravest most anti-establishment thing when it's literally as pro-establishment as it gets (just a different kind of establishment) and pro-Westerners will cry out like it's literal colonialism when the countries they support do the same thing. This feels like this "Spiderman pointing at himself" meme.
  15. There is no "not accepting death". One day, death will kick down your doors and force you to accept it anyway. You have no choice other than to accept it, because it is you. You are death. You are life. No amount of worry will change that. Worry is still a useful tool as it can help you to stay alive and maximize your potential as a human being, but just like any tool, it can be misapplied and used in deconstructive ways. It's important to become mindful of when and how you apply worry, and to decide whether is serves you (in being constructive rather than deconstructive) or whether it keeps you from living up to your fullest potential. Some level of fear is natural, but the fear itself must also die eventually. So don't worry, the fear will die right by your side.
  16. Everything that has had a beginning must eventually also find its end. From an individual atom within your body all the way to the entire physical universe itself. The point is that humans are doomed to meet their end at some point. Whether that point be a radical cleansing by AI (or nukes or whatever), or our eventual merging with technology. If you looked at humans in a 1000 years (assuming we're still around by then), they might not look like us in any way, shape, or form. Maybe, by then, we will have the capacity to replace each of our organs with a superior technology. Eventually we wouldn't even need brains anymore. So we either die a quick death or we slowly fade into obscurity as everything that makes us special becomes more and more irrelevant in the face of higher levels of evolution. Kinda of like how some people still have Neanderthal DNA in them, but if you looked at them you wouldn't see a Neanderthal, but a Homo Sapien. From the pov of a Neanderthal this might be disastrous, but from our pov it's not that big of a deal. Similarly, you might be disappointed to find that if we keep evolving, we will eventually get to a point where there is barely anything "human" about us anymore, but whatever those beings are, they most likely will care about us as much as we care about the "poor Neanderthals" right now. So AI could lead to our end in the short and in the long run, but I wouldn't worry too much about it, because that's just the course of nature and evolution. There is no stopping death. So enjoy life as long as it may last.
  17. @Emotionalmosquito I respect your openness almost as much as I fear it.
  18. Okay, but what does the @Someone here style say? It's the most powerful style... if you know how to use it. So use it god damn it!
  19. Your reaction to the thoughts and emotions of other people is a reflection of the relationship to yourself (or rather a part of yourself). This relationship is a direct result of your conditioning. A crucial part, of becoming more acceptant of the bs of other people, is to unwire this conditioning and become more acceptant of your own bs. This won't be done in a single course or with one book. You have to take a deep and critical look at your own psychology.
  20. In fact, here is a short critique written by ChatGPT:
  21. I agree. Words can be a real bitch when it comes to truth, because there is basically an infinite amount of ways to disagree with the wording of something. ⬆ You could literally write a 90 page critique of just these two sentences.
  22. How do you know that you went to bed yesterday? How do you know that when you became conscious this morning, it wasn't actually the first time you woke up in this reality? In fact, how do you know this reality didn't manifest just 5 seconds ago and it doesn't occur to us because of how blindly we trust our memories? When you wake up in the morning and believe that there was a period in which you were completely unconscious, notice that that's a thought. We're not trying to judge the thought as true or false, just understand that it's a thought. A belief. An assumption. You don't actually ever experience "unconsciousness" outside of memory.
  23. Noted. I was planning on smoking a joint on the come down anyway, because doing that on shrooms has always been great.
  24. @ZenAlex I took shrooms during the darkest time of my life and it was the single most beautiful experience of my life. I actually feel good right now, so I don't worry about fucking up my mind. I still respect the drug and thus I will start with a light dose, but I fully trust my mind to navigate a trip. Everybody is different though and some people truly should focus on their mental problems first before approaching psychedelics, so appreciate your concern. @James123 Did it have an effect on the trip? I've read that it can greatly reduce the visuals.
