  1. It is actually possible to stay in contemplation-state a large portion of the day. And it only gets deeper and deeper and leads to much better stuff than all-day-awareness. Gotta start with mundane questions though if your state is not high enough outside of retreat. But the states you get from contemplation can be then automatically accessed again and deepened.
  2. When talking to "someone else" it should be like "Why the hell am I talking to myself?" "Why the hell are my thoughts so perfectly synchronized with what they'll say next?" It should feel and perform LITERALLY like a lucid dream (except your will while sober will only be able to affect chance, not completely reimagine stuff and fly for example - that would probably require a much higher state than this). Speaking from experience. I experienced what your original post is too but that's not the actual thing nonetheless it is still a good line of thought.
  3. Unfortunately there's no shortcuts. Except maybe training your concentration. Anything, even highly technical texts, is easier to comprehend after a long concentration session. Speed reading is useless.
  4. I like to do classic holotropic breathing with a breath hold at the end of a 30 minute session more. It's more effective for me that way. Like it can get pretty trippy. I've tried this channel too but it was weaker. Still pretty good and some people might have different experience than me.
  5. Literally just Google a website where people post (it'd be better if you choose something smaller than the most popular ones) what they need and answer a few and you should have your first order in a matter of days. The catch is that you still have to have some skill you can offer.
  6. The first business for most people should generally be something that doesn't require much capital and should almost never require any employees. The other option would be getting investors which would be needless pain in the butt. Hence why copywriting, programming, consulting, helping, graphics etc with SEO are all great options because you don't need to invest money.
  7. Try to teach a few people individually how to do whatever you are good at for free (or for a fee because why not) just to see how it feels and to learn something new. Now try to imagine how it would feel if you couldnt just simply refuse to work with people who are hard to work with.
  8. 1) Get a a basic full time temporary job. Move out. You are 26 dude. 2) Get rid off your hobies etc and after your main job work for 2 -4 hours on building a better way to make money (eg. learn programming -> build some proof that you are qualified, this can mean undercharging to build your portfolio or building a wordpress plugin or a game mod or creating a website where you show your graphic art or whatever). If you dont have the energy take some modafinil and do 22/2 intermittent fasting (temporarily). 3) transition from your crap job to your less crap way to make money 4) either stay there for a while to save up or immediately start working on your life purpose or on finding your life purpose in your free time (it may be very beneficial to set a strict time when you do business!) or if it is satisfying just keep doing that, you will already have a better job than most people This is way faster than going the university route. It just requires more discipline because nobody is going to tell you what to do which can be a downside when you are not used to it yet.
  9. I feel you. This stuff takes time to figure out. All options come with their drawbacks so it's a matter of choosing what's best for you. What I'm doing with freelancing has it's own drawbacks. And I'm still figuring out the best way to structure my day too. Working out is a nice idea. I've been returning to that too. Do you have some sort of time tracking system where you log when you work or is it basically do the work and it's up to you to structure your day?
  10. Sin literally means doing something that is contrary to your highest goal because your ego distracted you. Gotta make distinctions between religious monkeys and legit deep metaphysical insights of ancient dead guys.

  12. Here's how I deal with having a sort-of-nice work situation that I dislike. It works very well but it's a crutch: So, this might not be the most healthy solution since it's basically a crutch but since you probably don't want to do it your whole life anyway, here's what I do when I have to do work stuff that feels like I'm wasting my days away (I do mostly programming and other IT stuff freelancing while also trying to do well at university): - small dose (mostly 1/4) armodafinil up to 5 times per week (this really removes any sort of emotional resistance you have to your job, so it's great if you already know what you're doing). Also I meditate for the duration of the comeup which mixes the effects of meditation and moda very nicely for me. - LSD microdosing 3 times a week, HHC (legal in most places) small dose edible 2 days (assuming you work 5 times a week). If you don't have access to LSD then LSA (legal in most places) in small doses does the trick (I've tested that :P) This really takes away any sort of emotional resistance to work while also creating a nice mental space to have productive, strong contemplations when there's not much work load so you kill two birds with one stone. It also allows you to tune it down if it's getting in they way of anything if the doses are small enough. The main downside is that you won't build discipline and might even lose some. Which could be countered by fasting for a few days a month.
  13. Being a man means self mastery > comfiness. Bcause self mastery is not comfortable. Nothing wrong with comfiness, everything has its place. Is understanding easier with self mastery? Why? I think it might be independent as long as you have created an environment (environment includes your level of consciousness) where you can contemplate enough. I will continue this contemplation later when I have more time, but I am starting to get some interesting insights.
  14. My family has been in the same situation. I won't go into details. Take the inheritance. Delayed grief is normal. You will grief when and if it's right for you. I think delayed grief is a normal survival defense mechanism.
  15. Well, if you have mental health problems then stick with eg. breath counting or other similar concentration techniques. Those can be extremely helpful. Even relatively high doses are something you might be able to handle and still receive mainly benefits. I'd keep Vipassana to a minimum in your case since that will make mental health issues worse before it makes them better.

You can build up your imagination so much that you can create a realistic alligator in your room than you can completely see, travel to realms that are completely realistic with their own rules without sleeping or draw stuff in the air that other people who do a similiar practice in similiar doses can see and tell you information that you didnt tell them and they have no way of knowing it, Also you can make yourself have hyperreal dreams about things you want to happen and they will then happen in this reality. Do a multiweek kasina retreat where you spend all day doing it. Learn basic magick. Have fun.
  17. Understanding, integrity, courage, sensible charitability, never falsely brag. Overplaying / underplaying your achievements is poison .. which comes down to being able to see that your emotions are not yourself. I'm not talking about suppressing them, just being the witness. A real man is prone to no self insight, being successful with women, making a nice living, being well read, .... (Having those things doesn't guarantee being a man, since he may have sacrificed his integrity to get there) And honest about areas where he sucks.
  18. Yeah, I have been taking like 3 - 10 cloves of garlic with honey once every few months or so when I feel like something is going wrong or when I am sick and it makes a big difference. It also seems to reset tolerance to substances. Not completely, but noticeably.
  19. Breakthrough doses need integration time. Smaller doses can be used multiple times a week. And they get stronger overtime as your understanding increases. If you feel like you're going off the rails then slow down.
  20. If you spend as much time tripping as meditating the tripping will have way greater effect on baseline than the meditation. You should still meditate though. There are some things that are easier to get with meditation than any other way (cessation, which lead to a perma no self state).
  21. You should learn about concurrent periodization. Try to get a copy of naturally enhanced. You will be surprised with how fast it's possible to progress even when you're very advanced, without any genetic talent or chemical help.
  22. Personal record. Any small increase counts, since you're supposed to have them every workout. a) until first serious plateus it's basically free gains (2plate bench, 3 plate squat, 4 plate deadlift - if you're going with classical lifts) b) after that changing it up slightly is enough to almost never get stuck.
  23. A compound one. The only important is that whenever you hit a plateau with an exercise you change it up to a very similar variant that is only slightly different. You should have at least a few in the bag. Over time you'll learn how to find your weak spots.. That way you never plateu, because exercises carryover. You should hit a small PR every exercise / every time you lift. Doesn't matter if it's reps or weight.
  24. Nah, the indoctrination integrates the perspectives before. If the one indoctrinating you is truly the stage. So you learn the lessons before faster. But it will temporarily crumble when you hit a wall based on lower stages not yet integrated (for example when you want to do spirituality full time but you need money first and having a lot of money requires a lot of discipline in most cases). So in that case to get back to green you'd solve orange through blue and then you'd be able to do a lot more of higher stage stuff. Maybe before you were able to do it because of living with parents. The model is interlinked with Maslow's hierarchy but different and more complex.
  25. I mean, there are people take it from a well / spring. There are maps of the purest water sources online. But that would be going way overboard-paranoid-hippie with it. Reverse osmosis is the middle ground.
