  1. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they realised how few people actually respond seriously in this forum and not just play around and try to get attention. It seems to be quite a waste of time oftentimes to write something meaningful here. Imo 90-95% of comments are just garbage, I lose interest posting here, too.
  2. Sorry wanted to edit : "volume of sound must be tenfolded to appear twice as loud", but I quoted it
  3. I will give short answers, but if you want something elaborated Just ask specific questions It's called self-similarity or "the holographic principle", there is a very good book on that, if you want a good answer read "the holographic universe" by Michael Talbot, it's great! That's not the complete picture. We have matter for example wich itself attracting itself and then there is antimatter and dark energy and stuff like that. Because of duality sometimes opposites attract each other, sometimes repel. The strong nuclear force makes protons stick to eachother in the nucleous with enormous power. One could say (this goes for human psychology as well): on the first glance opposites attract each other but deep in the nucleous similarity is sexy as fuck. There is triality. Subject, process, object. Seer, seeing, seen. White, grey, black. Notice that from duality automatically triality arises. A process, grey - those are unique features If you think about it. In nature, there is neither a perfect white nor a perfect black. Those are just imaginary ends of a spectrum. Same goes with temperature or pressure. We always have an infinite spectrum with imaginary ends (0&infinity). Between those there arises a third thing which isn't just an emergent phenomena of the ends of the spectrum (discrete numbers), it's a quality of it's own. But if you want you can boil down everything so we take the first Prime number, 2, we could also boil it down to 1, unity. But actually there is also quadrity, like south east north west or 4 dimensions or whatever. But 4 =2*2. So we can boil that down for sure. Then we have 5, which appears in the golden ratio (√5+1)/2==1,618... , you see it everywhere in nature and it is THE number for self-similarity. So is there some kind of hidden quintility? Of course we can imagine it and look in nature for some kind of sable dynamic balance somewhere where there are 5 appearing seperate agents/sources/"poles" like the chinese did with there elemantary system or some buddhist strains or the 5 senses for example (could be called dimensions of human experiences). But two is something most things boil down to after the 1=unity, and there is the binary code (010101110) which is enough to describe/code information, so duality is just a very intuitive rest for the need to reduce and pin down nature. Large is a relative notion. Every agent within an (eco)system must be by definition smaller than the system itself (you can't build a container big enough to put the universe inside). And we have the logarithmic principle in nature, like the volume of sound must be doubled to appear to us twice as loud. So the closer you come to the limit of the system, the harder it is to reach it (which isn't possible). It's an asymptote. You'll need more and more energy to expand the closer you come to the limit, until you reach infinity or the energy of the whole system, which would mean you are the system at that point. Same goes for god consciousness btw. You ask good questions btw. Go on! Don't let these answers satisfy you, go look for yourself. Consciousness becomes much more mysterious the more you apparently think to understand about it. I wonder why Leo hasn't made a 3-part serious about self-reference until now. He has some about paradoxes and so on, but the topic itself is sooo rich to speak about he has just begun to touch the true depth in his videos. It all boils down to that. Once you see the world through the lense of that principle, you will feel like tripping while being sobern. You will see patterns naturally everywhere and your daily life will unfold obviously like a beautiful melody, how could it be otherwise? Music, art, politics, plants, health, astrophysics, the internet, blablabla - all will appear as different frequencies of the same self-similar algorithmic cosmic radio or whatever name you will give it.
  4. - Others - Free will - Meaning&purpose - Reality - Truth - Enlightenment - Consciousness - The Absolute - "Awakened" - "a concept" - "a human" - "an illusion" Basically everything that has an opposite, which can be described (or at least "meaningfully" attempted), which is a concept even though it may be expressed as "not a concept", that's still a concept. If someone claims any of those above exclusively, seperates it from something of "lesser order", or claims that it is more real/important, this creates a distinction, some kind of (subtle) exclusion which means that it still remains in the realm of concepts and therefore human(?) illusions. So it's illusions all the way down, even the so called "non-illusions" that are talked about in spirituality or nonduality. All words, all concepts, all empty. Nothing is real, nothing remains, only everchenanging Isness is. Whatever the hell that is. No one knows
  5. Oh wow!!! Yessss pleeaaassse!!! I would love to see ya discussing god I come from a very evangelical fundamentalist background, I was quite surprised how many of the people there appreciate Peterson, despite him interpreting the bible quite metaphorically. It would be juicy to see you stretching his notion of god even more, maybe his followers would need to jump a standard-daviation to the direction of open-mindedness. And please nail him down like Alex O'Connor did I hope he will not be turned off by your video about him...
  6. It's like asking what's the best martial arts? Depends on your energetic signature (body structure in martial arts/ mind structure in meditation), your obstacles (enemys fighting style/ ego traps) , prerequesites (already available skillset/ experiences and general state of nervous system for example). But there are some universal basics which people generally underestimate. Most guys who start meditation don't get how deep they're still stuck (unconsciously) in fight&flight mode and how important it is to regulate the nervous system accordingly to reach deep meditation states. So here is some short-cut for that:
  7. I think so, too. But I wasn't aware of serious long-term risks until now. And it's an interesting hypothesis that some effect of that drug may actually be due to the resemblence of actual physical death, not just ego death (which are not easy to seperate at second glance btw). Anyways, a great substance with huge potential, no question.
  8. Thanks for sharing @Paradoxed! I appreciate a critical view on the substance and I am interested how other members will respond to this. You did good research. As always, the dosage makes the poison, but I wasn't aware yet that 5-meo belongs to another category of "be cautious with that substance!".
  9. @Thought Art As far as I know there is nothing illegal about it and it prevents Google to steal and misuse your data
  10. I don't understand why no one here talks about newpipe. Get newpipe.net (only awailable for android) and you have likr youtube premium on your phone for free. You can even select what's on your newsfeed much better so you don't have the temptation for shorts for example and you can use it more anonymously. The down Side is you can't like or comment. Downloading is easy, no ads and works fine with screen off.
  11. Maybe I'm wrong but I guess it was the Self-Deception episode
  12. I found this beautiful short film and wanted to share it with you: A naive version of a concept about awakening would precisely be that: The idea that one day, you'll find a magic ______ (fill in the blank) that will open the portal/lift the veil to a higher reality for you so you can break free/liberate yourself. What are your thoughts on this?
  13. @puporing I didn´t want to offend you, I thought I expressed clear enough that and of these guys who put themselves on a pedestal, sorry if it still sounded like that. I really just wanted to point out that it may seem like that, if you talk but no walk. So that was a try to tease you out of just talking about that which you hold as truth but to motivate you to go deeper, further explain, share your approach and set yourself apart from those who just talk but no walk. I consider myself very openminded so I am just curious what you are talking about. That's why I am so critical because literally everyone can claim what you claim, but I stay openminded that there is more behind it than just words. Of course. In recent times the awakening story of mine has just become more and more obvious to be just that - a story. Even though in that story an apparent deepening is happening of course. So I am open to whatever comes my way - otherwise I wouldn't have started the thread. And of course there are lots of things I am not conscious of right now, so I like to get "enlightened" in this sense. But fundamentally I have been running in enough hamster wheels to "get THIS". So to anyone claiming THIS here&now is not it but I first have to do XYZ to finally arrive at IT I can just say: I am not a satanist btw, not at all. I was raised really christian and I love Jesus and his teachings! But ultimately you have to let go of this pedestalisation, too. One has to look at the evil inside of himself, there is none outside really. This is one of the main pillars what Jesus taught in my eyes. I don't think Jesus was blaming any others for his death - or he wasn't awake - that's my take.
  14. @Ramanujan you can even use SyncThing as a free app to avoid spending money There is an analogue for PC too
  15. @puporing Thank you anyway for your time and trying to explain your perspective to me! I get that you feel like being morpheus in the matrix, trying to wake people up from their dream world, which seems to be somewhat satisfying but actually is seen as a quite hellish realm when looked upon from the outside due to the circumstances. But in order to convince people to exit the matrix you need to be convincing. Jesus or Neo for example were able to perform miracles, others may seem extraordinarily contempt/in peace under harsh conditions, extremely intelligent or live a saintly life, maybe they can provide techniques/methods/approaches for people to see the truth clearly. The story that "I am above you, I know it all, you need so much time to reach up to my stage" is just not enough. There are millions of narcissistic, psychotic, psychopathic people who claim that too. I am not (!) saying you are one of them, but probably a forum is not the right platform for you to spread the gospel so to say - at least what you tried to convey in this thread were just stories in my eyes - even if I completely believed you - what now? Your words in short: "There is a kingdom of heaven, you are nowhere near that, I am there and see it all clearly." Every classical self-proclaimed guru would use the same story to follow him but at least propose a method or something. All I want to say - extraordinary claims need extraordinary _______ whatever. I would be interested in your extraordinary ______ whatever you have to offer, not in the stories around that. If you are where you claim to be you should be completely aware that all these stories don't get anyone anywhere, people believe in more than enough stories. I am open to your perspective, but I lack creativity and persuasiveness in your words. I can't see any difference to what all these fake gurus do with their stories to be honest (this doesn't mean that you are one, I just point out a problem which may be the reason you have such a hard time to wake up others)
  16. Thanks for sharing, really good representations of the thinking structure behind the spiral dynamics stages!
  17. @puporing You may resonante a lot with the kabbala, judaic mysticism btw. They speak about the traumatic Event when god created the world and reincarnated into it, it broke many vessels and now it is our (hard) job to reunite it again. I don't want to offend you but to me it seems as if you have created quite a big story around your awakening experience(s). Maybe your words are just very misleading but it seems as if you have built a heavy solidity around the concept of time. Also I doubt your understanding and integration of solipsism. I could go into detail if you wish but I guess you are not really interested in that, correct me if I am wrong. If something about your state feels off, if there is still some kind of "this can't be it, there must first happen something in order for this to be finally okay" it's definitely not what I consider the full Awakening or kingdom of heaven. But as I said, I consider the possibility that it is just very hard for you to put it into words. Just feels strange to get some kind of depressive victim mindset vibe from someone claiming to be one of the very few chillin' in paradise to be honest. Don't want to put you down but maybe that's not the end of the road at all!
  18. @Breakingthewall You're absolutely right. Of course with language it's difficult to express infinity so I take these shaky roads. What I wanted to stress out is that every path, everything that takes time like techniques or whatever is just a future projection about what already is. That which is absolute, which is unchanging, cannot ever be reached. It's a story. If it could be reached (in time), the framework of time is implicitely assumed. If we take that assumption of a future reaching, we must take the past for real too. If that is the case, there is an infinite past. If something existentially important could be reached, wouldn't an infinite past be enough to have reached it already? The line of reasoning should just point out that every story about reaching it is nothing but a story. There's literally nothing happening, like in a dream, stuff changes constantly but every past and future is a story, real for a moment and unreal for eternity. Yes! I just try to pick up the words and concepts of my opposite to dispel and deconstruct them on a logical basis - that's my style. But I agree with you, you did the same with me here haha
  19. @puporing Same here! Thanks for your detailed answer, I enjoy the conversation, you are one of the guys who doesn't just reply with one-liners but goes in depth, awesome! Of course! I get you, once the spell is broken, once the gig is up, once the punchline is undestood - there is no turning back. You explain it really well! As if you've seen It's all a dream But people just keep constantly Speaking about reality. Like "this is true and that is not" And "this is you and that is god" While all that's heard is "blablabla" But no one hears the great "Tadaaa!!!" That's where we might differ, but I think I get you. Isn't that love expressing? Isn't it kind of great to feel that compassion, that heart bursting, that aliveness in the cheerful happiness but also in the tearful sadness about what god can do unto itself? It's intense, no question, but paradise is meant to be intense isn't it? A great fun park with lots of horrorshows and hall of mirrors. Yeah that's a great life purpose, go for it! I don't want to discourage you, on the contrary! Go all in bro <3 don't let stories distract you. There's an audience if you have something to say, for sure. So here there may be an interesting twist in your story. There is this guy called Emerson, he's the clearest speaker I've ever encountered, outreaching every teacher and non duality speaker by far! It's the stop sign on your path, the lucid part of your dream, a 5-meo DMT trip impersonated. I don't want to glorify him but really stress it out. People are dropping like leaves in autumn. He "helped" hundreds if not thousands of people seeing through it, people seeking for 40+ years sometimes. Watch one of his one-on-ones for example, this clarity is just BOOM!!! The reason I tell you is not for you to get something new/else whatever, you may be awake as fuck so there may not be any need for clarification. The reason is that if you feel lonely, contact him and just befriend with him, he's a really nice guy and has no need to play authoriy whatsoever, he's gonna be like a friend. And he knows lots (!) of lots of people who now are clear about heaven/paradise, I guess there is a whole community of people who may be as clear as you. You may find others who you completely resonate with. I hope you can find connection <3 And he might be a great inspiration for your style of expression about paradise/god, too.
  20. What helped me to bridge part of the gap is trying to see everyone as an amplyfying mirror. All of that is some kind of self-sabotage, ignorance or incapability - if these aren't three sides of the same coin. I oftentimes talk to christians (fundamentalists) and it is funny how convinced they are that this cannot ever be a dream, that they absolutely know it is real and stuff like that. They can't even imagine it. They continiously respond with stuff like "but I can't grab through this wall" as if they could always grab through walls in their dreams. What has become important to me is open my heart at that moment. It is not about them getting something, it is about my reaction to it. We all bullshit ourselves, run away from shit and ignoring the obvious. I do it, you probably do it too in some areas of your life. Try to see the mechanism behind the ignorance/self-sabotage. Look where it applies to you. See that some years ago you were in the same boat. What others need is not your knowledge/an arrogance of words, it's love. Another tip: Start speaking more in a coaching style than like a therapist. It's natural to want to heal the ignorance condition fast, but oftentimes that becomes the problem. Don't try to explain too much, people may even start believing you without really understanding. The school system and other cultural conditioning made lots of people lose the capability to think for themselves and derive at answers by using their own intuition and intellect. Don't school them! Ask them wise questions so they can find the answer themselves. See it as a refinement of your skill, again it is not about them but about you. Do it Sokrates-style. A smart man is he who has the right answers - a wise man is he who has the right questions. Develop your wisdom, coach people into the depths of their heart and intelligence. Help them seeing through their bullshit by being aware of your own. When you ask the right questions, you will be able to relate much better (I hope). Good luck! Great question btw
  21. @puporing To me it has become obvious that the idea of heaven I once had, a place without shit, is some kind of a hedonistic trap. It just wears off after some time. Maybe you can enjoy it for a billion years, but someday questions arise like "What is it like to eat tasteless bread instead of kaviar and cake 24/7?", "I can't die so am I able to convince me about a story about death?" I know this is a very humanoid perspective - but see, the idea that shit is bad is also completely human. You eat nothing but shit your whole life, it just transforms into apples and beans after a year or some. It is not about being attracted to shit but realising that when you have no shit around you, everything is platin and saphirs, one day you will see the one as gold and the other as shit. Or not. But it's just a matter of how high the amplitude of your apparent mood changes get. You may enjoy bliss 24/7 for some time, but after a billion years you may see the greater joy in the challenge of tricking you into a perspective where it is not common, since literally nothing bad can really happen to you, it's all just fantasy. So I am not totally disagreeing with you. It's just that man always wants what is not. The grass on the other side of the river is always greener. And when guys like you come around and talk about heaven which is something that can be reached you may create spiritual fantasies for people who want to get rid of their shit without even knowing why it is there in the first place. Appreciate the shit! That's what I want to share, it's not a bug, it's a feature. Don't get identified/addicted to it but see the goldenness in it. The other way to express it is this: If there was something existentially important to reach, don't you think it would have been reached already? Since there is literally an infinite past. Of course, it's only NOW, but either it is like an alarm clock which starts and ends preprogrammed for you to be able to sleep and then awake at time or it is already done like jesus said on the cross. The idea that one has the responsibility to fullfill an existential need is grandiose, the idea that you could reach in time what is outside of it, to be required to arrange the relative to enter the absolute. What if there are no prerequisitions? If this is it - exactly as it is. How could it be another way than the way it is? There are no others who need your help in that sense. Helping is fine, no question. But it happens naturally, not beacause anything is fundamentally dependent on your help.
  22. @puporing I don't want to dismiss what you are saying, I would agree on some stuff - but from my understanding it seems strange to "(not) plan about coming back", to "be required to teach/heal", to "have attraction to this universe". There is a lot of duality expressed in these words. Leo once said something around "If you can't see god in the shit in your toilet you ain't awake" - I would totally agree. This dream is getting spiced up, but no worrries. When there is literally no death, mind can get pretty twisted and sarcastic. I don't know whether I am too critical here but to be honest it seems as if you were creating a story around a messiah awakening or something like that. There are tons of people claiming to be the second coming of christ, it's almost always all words but not walking the talk. How many guys I have heard talking about their last reincarnation being jesus buddha or whatever, almost never someone claimed to have been a bug or a farmer. It's clear to me that it is all a story, I don't feel the urge to compare anymore. But if you honestly believe in yourself to be who you claim, you gotta be convincing without words. I wish you the best for it - go for it, we need jesus's today!
  23. Yeah it's funny how we seek for that which "watches" us how we seek for that which "watches" us.
  24. True haha You believe that there is an alternative to endless reincarnation? If it could be reached, wouldn't it have been already during the infinitely long past? And who says/believes you were born in the first place? I once had a mescaline trip and realized after "attaining nirvana" as buddha I had nothing better to do than imagining the next better illusion. It was like "game over" and you're like "damn I just even started the game". Oh yeah of course it can look like that! It probably even will. But if you look for that, you're screwed
