I don't know if you can get addicted to meditation and if that would be true then you may consider yourself lucky. Give yourself a break! On the other hand you can get really addicted to mystical experiences and the byproducts of meditation and awakening.

I have no idea about this stuff personally but I know about two teachers called Craig Holiday and Susanne Marie who had multiple kids while seeking, maybe you could learn something from them.

I'm currently watching the Hannibal series and there is some serious hallucination and a lot of cluster B personalities going on over there.

Jed McKenna seems to have been quite influenced by him. I remember watching this video a few months ago, something started to click... On the other side it's pretty hilarious to watch him talking about Dalai Lama being a CIA agent, that mankind should be wiped out, that the american bastards didn't and on the moon but on Iceland and saying that he kicked his mother right after his birth. I have not read anything by him but I must say that he is a pretty interesting character.

This is a good book about highly sensitive persons. HSP is a personality trait with a bunch of unique characteristics. Here is a few of them! -Deeper processing of experience -A tendency do get overstimulated really easy -Being more emotionally recceptive and having mroe empathy -The ability to be more awere of subtle things She tells you about everything you need to know about HSPs and how to get better at it. I wouldn't trust her in the last chapter where she mentions spirituallity and then throws it in the same boat as philosophy and religion but being a HSP is probably a lot better than not being one if you are going to dive really deep into spirituallity and a good reason why many Yogis and Masters of all sorts are quite sensitive. This book made me more proud of being a Highly Sensitive Peron and it gave me a few insights aswell. Have you been sensitive your whole life without knowing what's wrong with you? If so I would suggest that you give this book a try!

I guess it gave me some insight into my childhood and a bunch of characteristics that I had been carrying around for a while.

I did the same thing that you are currently doing. Everyone tends to be so obsessed with understanding this thing intellectually, getting personally involved in the process and stuff like that. Developing this seeking attitude on the path has a tendency to make us forget what is already here. Luckily a teacher gave me the same advice you have gotten and I took it. Thank God!
