  1. There are lots of tutorials on YouTube that show you how to cook. Once you got the technical basics down, you are comfortable matching classic flavour combinations the world is your oyster Cooking is really easy, I taught myself to cook reading books for 30 years and I still love creating
  2. Wealth is fine, it's how it's achieved with the current system that is a massive problem. To understand this takes passing through orange onto green and beyond. Orange doesn't see its own limitations, hasn't got the consience that green has developed.
  3. @Jo96 Its not so simple. If you really want to learn about how difficult it is to obtain nutrients you need from any diet then a good place to start is by getting to know nutrition on a deeper level than what circulating dietary propaganda is teaching is. A lot of things on YouTube are promotional videos aimed at changing people's minds on a mass scale, and because there is an agenda, then a lot of important information is left out and this is why a lot of people fail on a strictly wholefoods plant based diet. A great little resource on nutrition and an introduction into how complex this whole thing really is, is a newsletter created by Chris Masterjohn PHD. When you sign up for his newsletter he sends you a free online course on all of the essential nutrients needed from the diet and information on conditional nutrients (nutrients that your body can make that are not considered essential, but you can still be deficient in because you have a deficiency or a genetic problem). The science on vegan diets is very very sparse and we really don't know anything about the effects it would have across massive populations . There is a lot to consider. I would consider the info presented by Michael Greger, but I'd also keep an open mind and fact check his claims and try to learn as much as possible about nutrition in general rather than from just one source. If you find yourself adhering to a dogma then you have lost the plot and have just become a recruit.
  4. @undeather @RickyBalboa Parts of orange trigger me, which probably means I have a fair bit of green that I have to get rid of, either that or I'm totally at blue You're right, this takes years to get right, which is why some people can study the model for 20 years and not move an inch away from orange. Have mercy on us idiots, were trying
  5. Yes, system upgraded
  6. At this point in history you're best chance is by winning the lottery. No joke
  7. Online business is good. It's a step away from the current system where business owners are forced to play unhealthy orange games of exploitation in order to pay the bills. But there is always a danger that with an online business you can exploit your customer if what you're offering is incomplete advice or service based on a lack of mastery in your area. I don't have an answer for this whole conundrum. It's a work in progress, but I just wanted to add to the soup
  8. I noticed that when I'm stressed I don't sleep to well. Like a big project at work makes me lose sleep even when I'm eating healthy and everything else in life is going relatively well. So I agree with this point
  9. I apologize I misled you because I thought parboiled rice was devoid of the bran. I just looked this up: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parboiled_rice
  10. To be absolutely clear, white rice is just processed sugar. It's the bran that makes it a healthy carb which won't hurt the health.
  11. Yes, reality is telling you that you're not hitting the mark. You were "sinning" which means missing the point of existence. I like the way you take responsibility and don't blame anyone for your errors
  12. I'm glad we found common ground ?
  13. I like his shake. But I'd avoid that much chocolate in the shake. He's using oil very liberally, I don't even use oil anymore. Maybe a little avocado oil, a TSP a day is enough. Raspberry jam? Why? It's just sugar and a few antioxidants. More sugar than anything else which cancels out any benefit of the raspberries. - just throw in a half punnet of real raspberries if you can afford it. But I would not go crazy on berries and chocolate, these should be eaten in moderation as they are very nutrient dense and have some chemicals like oxalic acid that can cause problems if the gut bacteria are unbalanced. His ideas around parboiled rice being the same as brown rice with the taste of white rice may have something to do with the brand he's buying because I've not come across this idea before. Sounds like hes mixing up his interpretation with an objective fact. Either rice is hulled or unhulled. Unhulled is brown, hulled is white. To be honest he's not very clued up on nutrition. With his mixing of sat fat and processed sugars he's well on his way to developing type 2 diabetes if it runs in his family. I didn't see him include a cup of green veggies in his diet? I think everyone should have at least one cup of green veggies per day, like mange tout, spinach, broccoli, sprouts, cabbage, kale, green beans, anything green.
  14. Got a link? I'll have a listen to his perspective
  15. Of course, I agree with you. I'm talking generally, we all face similar challenges in life. Because I've faced many challenges I have developed compassion for all people , even dangerous criminals , sociopaths and psychopaths. Underneath our uniqeness is a unity of sameness, we all have many many things in common.
  16. The stuff from the shops? Like uncle Ben's? Ok in an emergency I guess. Thing about white rice is that it's been stripped of its bran so that it can stay on the shelf for years (brown rice has a shelf life). Parboiled is just pandering to the needs of our hectic listyle at the moment. Go go go and not enough time to prep 3 meals a day at home. Plus it's easy for the lazy cook to put in the microwave. But if you're genuinely interested in your health like I am then brown rice is the way to go. You can soak and cook large batches and put it in the fridge for 3 days. Just don't cool it in cold water, let it cool naturally on large trays spread out (cools quicker) and then put it in an airtight container and into the fridge. Don't put it into plastic when it's warm (the plastic can leak into your food if it's warmed) and don't put it in the fridge when it's warm (bacteria love this and the heat raises the internal temp of your fridge). I have black and red rice in my cupboard at home which I eat on a regular basis as well as brown rice. But I make sure not to eat too much rice because it can store a lot of arsenic in the bran. Whole grains have a few benefits. Because of the bran it's high in fibre which regulates how much sugar your body absorbs. It's slow releasing therefore doesn't cause a carb spike (drowsiness after eating lots of sugar). It has vitamins and minerals in the bran, and it has thus chemical in in called phytic acid that can help prevent against too many metals being absorbed in your body. I do eat white rice once in a while though because I like the clean taste.
  17. @Surfingthewave I always sleep well after eating a low fat high carb meal. If I go through a phase of drinking bone broth (chicken feet and langostine heads) is sleep like a friggin new born baby. But drinking bone broth all the time is tedious and heavy metals end up in bone tissue more than anywhere in a carcass, so I don't overdo it. The body can handle a certain amount of heavy metals, even decent levels of aluminium, it's just best not to overdo it. Regular consumption of whole grains can help remove metals in the digestive system.
  18. If you're half way up the pick up ladder and it's working for you, you will assume that perfecting this system is going to end up in happiness, fulfillment , authentic connection. No, that's not true. A pua is a pua . It takes something else to actually be your authentic self. It requires removing the blocks that keep your from the present moment and the expression of your highest potential
  19. I know this sounds cliché, but it's true that money corrupts. There is this concept in self help industry that one of the best ways to become good at something is to teach it. So think about all the guys who have come up through the ranks in the pua science since Ross Jeffries started it all off with his NLP manipulative tactics right upto RSD ripping off Eckhart Tolle and David Deidas work. Imagine all of these still learning guys who need to make a living while they are still trying to heal themselves but have gotten real good at the "game".
  20. I explored the online dating coach world for a while, and then realized that they try to get from a to z by stepping through the entire alphabet, where the easiest method is just to work on your emotional issues, which will remove the need to "evolve" with these guys in their cult.
  21. I guess what I'm saying is dependency on teachers to provide the answer is a sticking point in being authentic. I'd understand if you had some form of autism and you needed a step by step guide to mastering social interactions. But most people here are at blue and above, so it's not needed. The best thing is to put more and more responsibility on yourself to generate your own insight that resonates with you. Like, take arcs shopping mall example. This was a case where reliance on dating coaches literally caused a kind of temporary autism, literally the guy couldnt calibrate to reality and was picking up "chicks" in a supermarket.
  22. I agree. You're pointing out the difference between a growth hierarchy and a dominator hierarchy. One thing I'd add is that something may not suit your purpose now, but come back in 3 years to that concept and you are glad you came across it. Suddenly it fits in the jigsaw clearly
  23. @Mikael89 To add , this isn't to say I cannot learn from you or arc. I do, but in general I am more integral that you two guys, I've been where you are. But I can still take parts of your teaching when you say something that accelerates my growth. But growth hierarchies are real.
  24. ? What I'm doing is human, everyone is doing the same. Turn the flashlight on yourself right now, you're saying that your perspective is the most valid by virtue of criticizing what I'm doing. We all have our own teaching and we all think we know what's best. That is inescapable if you are a human being. What's important is how integral is your teaching? How much potential does it include for constructing a better self? I believe my worldview is more integral than yours. So in terms of growth hierarchy I am more advanced than you. So if you want to learn you have to listen to people who know more than you. I listen to my teachers and because I do I myself grow because they are more integral than me. That's just the way of the world.
  25. I'm not saying that, I'm saying that YOU are your greatest teacher along with life itself. I've never said I'm right about everything and everyone else is wrong. You have to follow my trail of thought in its entirety to see the big picture of what I'm saying so that you don't make the mistake of cherry picking parts of my worldview and then twisting them to suit your biases so that you continue to sabotage your life with. Even in this thread I give kudos to Manson giving him credit for possibly being a killer pick up artist in the field. I'm interested in integrating different schools of thought and putting them in their rightful place on the map. Nobody is 100% wrong, it's just that everyone holds a partial truth . I just see Manson's blind spot.
