  1. in the end in all honesty, who knows what was going through his mind. From the screenshots I've read it seemed like he totally gave his authority away relying on someone to give him the answer to what he thought might be a good thing to try. interpretating something someone else had said in a fashion that he found meaningful to justify his thought cycles.
  2. the option to take one's own life is also a part of nature, natural unnaturalness or unnaturalness naturalness.
  3. For himself 100%, selfishness as in the suffering you are inflicting on your kids, wife, family. All just because the mind has convinced you to see what happens if you choose for a 'Conscious death' by jumping of a cliff? This is still attachment and selfishness for something the idea of you has cultivated over time.
  4. One of the things was definitely selfishness, which comes back to ego
  5. In the relative sense it's never correct, don't ask that question to someone who's suicidal.
  6. I don't have an "ideal guru" I love your work We're already way beyond that point, I see where you're coming from, not asking to pour out the bleeding heart. Showing the Heart-side is not authenticity? At least it's not some foundational framework, context or constructs. To me Heart is as much a part of True Understanding as of Mind Oh please don't.. Ew you freak! Lol I Know the way you love us Leo as I feel the same way to myself and therefore to all of man-kind, all I'm trying to say is teachings aren't just mind sided but I know it's the way you like to go about things. Also I don't have some stereotype guru, I'm purely talking from my own Seeing and experience.
  7. I don't think people have grievances necessarily, I feel like people would love to experience the Heart-side of Leo and less Mind-sided.
  8. Don't help him, I wanted to see if he would come up with this for himself to see how compassionate, humble he is and how deep his heart lies with his community.
  9. I think @Leo Gura's teachings should be focused more on integration/embodiment these times and less focused on the mind-side of this work. After all the mind is the whole reason one got caught up in the first place
  10. Agreed, let's all light a candle for @SoonHei and give him a moment of complete attention and Love.
  11. I completely agree. The one who is yet to See will still be lived by the mind and all of it's silly thoughts and notions, just take a look at religion. IMO some information should be only permitted to the ones that have had realizations up to a certain degree.
  12. I think you are roughly mistaken on this view. Birth and Death are illusory, relative, opposites and only have a significant meaning within this time/space dimension to the extent one is attached to these concepts. Life in it's totality is not a part of the two and these concepts have no foothold in the imagination manifested by Consciousness.
  13. My condolences to you and your family sister.. Also this might not be something you like to hear or accept, but there was nothing @Nahm could have done or said to have prevented @SoonHei's decision to act upon his desire for 'conscious death'. In the end @SoonHei is as much Self-Realized as @Nahm is, both not giving authority to anyone and just communicating for means of insight. Nevertheless I understand the pain and grief you're going through right now and how much you would have loved for any of us to try and save him.. <3
  14. The first time I'm experiencing @Leo Gura not telling someone he/she isn't getting it or he/she needs to have more awakenings in order to uncover a full understanding. I'm quite astonished.
  15. @Danioover9000 You can't read people, he isn't copying Leo lol.
  16. a discernment should be made in semantics. First we must ask ourselves what meditation actually means? Meditation is not concentration, these are two very different things. Most people confuse meditation with concentrating on non-movement, but if we watch closely we should be able to see that concentration implies resistance (to accept one thing and deny the other), the resistance of the movement of thought (by concentrating on silence for example). We can see that meditation requires awareness, if we see that then we must ask ourselves: what place does awareness have in meditation? and also what does awareness imply? Awareness implies attention and observation, saying these 3 are in relationship with each other still implies a duality (a separation). If we clearly See this then the next question should be: what place does observation have in awareness? and what does it lead to? A complete attention holds no center, which means there is no subject from where this attention arises, if there is a center then this is called concentration. This complete attention from which there is no center leads to complete observation, and out of that observation is born a Total Awareness. I think Lao Tzu meant that this concentrating which is what most people call 'meditation' makes the mind narrow because by concentrating, the mind cannot become clear. Observation leads to an understanding of what IS because there is no 'meditator' to agree or disagree with whatever arises. the 'meditator' completely dissolves within the act of meditation and therefore becomes the act itself.
  17. A lot of things happened in the dream but there was one fragment where Leo appeared. We were both sitting on the front of a boat sailing near an island (which looked pretty much like the picture presented) we were having a very deep conversation where we both talked about Absolute Truth, not his experiences, not my experiences but just in general about things like how humanity is continuously going down their spiral of illusions. We talked about the people we came across trying to help giving pointers and such towards Absolute Truth. We seemed to be getting along pretty well and he was quite the open person too, then we talked about materialism and how it looks like it's the only thing mankind seems to be worried about. While we were talking the boat drifted close to shore, so we were able to see the sand (like 15 inches from water to ground). As we were talking we heard some rambling at the bottom of the boat, we both looked down at the same time and saw thousands of golden coins (which seemed ancient). We looked back at each other and said WOAH, then we immediately jumped into the water as fast as we could and started collecting these golden coins. After 10 seconds I was like; wait, I turned around and just saw Leo had the same insight (since we were talking about materialism just before it happened). We laughed with the coins in our hands and that was that. Pretty funny, the dream showed me I need to remember that money doesn't even have the slightest importance whatsoever . Working on my consciousness even in my dreams, amazing. Thank you for this one Leo, had a blast
  18. Please stop lol.
  19. How does one expect becoming conscious of that which is time-less, space-less, that which is whole, which is complete, that which is infinite, when one is still struggling trying to understand this physical field and one's own emotions. That's the first step. The idea is not to control one's emotions but to observe them and become conscious of them and the cause so that the suffering attached to the emotion completely vanishes. One can read and accept all he wants but that will only lead to preconditioned and preconceived ideas, a motive, a concept of one's own conclusion. And that will only lead to prejudices, patterns, mechanisms set by one's own conclusion. At the end of the day you must admit to yourself that you have absolutely no idea what this all is about and tell yourself that you might be wrong. We DO need to lose ourselves in that silence because that's the only way to completely die to all the preconceived conditioning we've carried throughout this journey since 'birth'. So for your own sake, let go. Just let go of it all. This doesn't mean we need to meditate everyday but we will need to drown in that silence observing whatever comes up to lose this idea of subject and object. Keep contemplating, keep inquiring! Much love
  20. Tarot cards are fun for some mind masturbation but it will not show you what kind of issues you are facing in life. You can notice that you are biased to these cards, whenever they show you something you relate to, you're bound to accept it and attach to the information given as if it's a part of you now. When you don't relate to the information given you'll wipe it away like it's nothing and won't even remember it. No external objects whatsoever can make you turn inward.
  21. a UFO sighting does NOT mean it was life from outer space. That's a belief, people always immediately make the connection between the two when in reality you have only sighted an aircraft which is unidentified to YOU. It might as well be NASA that's screwing with your mind.
  22. Meditation is the silence of the mind, but in that silence, in that intensity, in that total alertness, the mind is no longer the seat of thought, because thought is time, thought is memory, thought is knowledge. And when it is completely quiet and highly sensitive, the mind can take a voyage which is timeless, limitless. That is meditation, not all this stupid nonsense of repeating words which is what they are doing. In India it is a well known trick, repeating a word and thereby getting oneself into a peculiar state, and thinking that is meditation. You can repeat the words Coca Cola ten thousand times and you will have the most marvelous experience because you have hypnotized yourself, but that is not reality. Hypnosis, whether it is done by yourself or by another, can only project your own conditioning, your own anxieties and fears; it has no value whatsoever. Hypnosis does NOT uncover Absolute Truth
