  1. @UnbornTao Thanks for the kind comment 😀
  2. Tree planting is a good gig. Right now making $450-500 a day. Planted 3300 trees today wooh The life of an endurance planter lol
  3. I am stepping into freedom, success and alignment with my values.
  4. I’m doing some important hard self facing today.
  5. Working on a qigong project today
  6. Ahh, the good sting of creative output.
  7. Mountaintops is a good song, just have to get to know it. One of the next songs I release for Pine haven will have drums, bass, synth and vocals and will be written based in addiction formula, not based on woodshed spirit.
  8. I woke up thinking about how wrong people are about my song. Anyway, I know it’s a sick song. Y’all easy to criticize but I don’t see your song. Haha, I’m gonna keep singing and listening to mountaintops because it’s chill, meditative and relaxing and ecstatic.
  9. I’ve fallen in love with Audible. I have been able to find so many interesting audiobooks. I feel like I’m learning to build a fantastic inner game. I am realizing that every area of my life requires more contemplation. My skills as a musician can deepen. I will design a training and self study regime for the coming years. I am going to focus on making the music I want to make. Mountaintops for me, is one of the best songs I’ve written. I think it’s very good. I also think people need to get to know it. There’s plenty of songs I have to hear a couple times before my brain can really dive into it. I enjoy this songs simplicity, it’s repetitive nature. It’s bare bones. I like that the lyrics just repeat twice. I like the lyrics. I like the imagery of the song. I cry tears of joy when I listen to it. And tears of love. If you could hear what I hear, which is Heaven. Then you’d know why I wrote it.
  10. chat got It's understandable to feel uncertainty about feedback, especially when it challenges something you value about your work. The simplicity and repetitive nature of your music may actually be its strength, depending on your artistic intention and the audience you're aiming for. Music that doesn't follow a typical song structure or that "doesn't move much" can create a meditative, immersive experience, which aligns well with your broader focus on peace, harmony, and spiritual awakening. Simplicity can evoke deep emotion, and repetition can enhance a song's mood or energy—both of which seem to fit your vision for Pine Haven. The energy you describe in your music is crucial; if it feels good to you and aligns with your artistic goals, that's a strong indicator that you're on the right track. Some listeners may not connect with non-traditional structures, but others will deeply appreciate the atmosphere you're creating. If you're still looking for balance, you could experiment with subtle variations or layers to keep the repetition engaging for a broader audience while maintaining the core vibe you love. Ultimately, it’s about finding the audience that resonates with your unique sound rather than conforming to traditional expectations. Do you feel like experimenting with these ideas, or are you more interested in staying true to the minimalism and energy that you originally intended?
  11. Create more freely, be more playful with music especially
  12. @UnbornTao Fair, but it’s a good song.
  13. It’s definitely important to celebrate your small wins. I’m focused on living a good life. For me, writing music makes me happy. Last couple years I got sort of side tracked. Qigong and earning money planting trees is my main focus right now. However, I have plenty of songs I’ve written. I think it’ll be fun to make Pine Haven my next project. I sort of have to work with what I have. Fearing creation makes no sense.
  14. @jimwell Thanks man, I also listened to the coastline is a good song thanks for sharing it with me. It is a very different type of music. Very good. I am glad I did this. Sharing this simple song is healing me. The more I can heal this artist part of myself the more I can create.
  15. I’d like to make something more full like this. That’s gonna take a different chapter of my life. Next couple projects are essentially exercises in putting something out. For me, and my honest Opinion Mountaintops is a fantastic song. The recording is strong, not perfect. I can hear and see the other songs of mine along with this one and I think it’s super cool. Ultimately I’m gonna do my own thing. Honestly, my religion might be me playing and singing with my guitar completely in ecstatic rapture. I want to make meditative music.
  16. @aurum That is a very good critique. I definitely want to go deeper with my song writing. I think répétition is something I really like. However, as I start putting out more songs I’m going to be deepening and exploring the art of song writing. But, we will see. I also really enjoy this song as it is. Perhaps my music fits a specific niche. We will see. I enjoy the simplicity of this song. The simple melody makes it relaxing and subtle. I am definitely looking to grow as a song writer. I think deepening my understanding of structure will help. There is also a matter of improving my set up in terms of my processes, and equipment. I have some ideals I’ll be investing into over coming years. This song in particular, is repetitive. Not all my songs are. This song also doesn’t fit typical song structure.
  17. @Joshe Interesting how we all he’s things differently. No drums on this, went for a simple recording. A lot of people I’ve showed it to during the recording process said it shouldn’t have drums. Interesting indeed. @Buck Edwards Happy to hear you enjoy it! @darkpencil1 Thanks man, glad you enjoyed it.
  18. @integration journey Thanks man, I was using a Guitar and my voice. The producer used a light synth underneath.
  19. @Rishabh R Sounds like some solid principles. Congrats on the release. I think it will help people and the feedback you get from it will help you grow.
