  1. I did a breathwork session today that was rather psychedelic.
  2. @integral Thanks for sharing that I don't really understand Crypto. I also find some of these guys spend every day looking for a sign of Trumps demize that their reporting is often unreliable.
  3. @Golem Well, with that attitude you probably see sickness in a sunset. "Idk man, the sun is looking a little sick". There are plenty of discussions going on of various quality and relative interest. It's a small group. Be careful, if I think you are attempting to gaslight, troll or spread toxicity I will give you warning points. I am suspecting you are a past user also...
  4. You guys should check out Holistic Song writing. He wrote a book years back (and now has a solid library of courses) for modern song writing. I personally have grown to like a lot of modern pop music. I think generally a lot of people have a good taste in music. Just because you don’t like a type of music doesn’t mean people have shitty taste in music. Alex Grey shared some interesting models of types of art, almost similar to Spiral dynamics in that it’s a non-heirarchical model of art going from say, porn to, stage red music to high music that is visionary in nature. I think people with different culture and exposure to different influences develop different tastes. When Avicii first played this he got booed. Billions of views later….
  5. @RendHeaven Some Arabic music, Indian music and microtonal music… I believe it can uses tone/ intervals outside of the harmonic series no?
  6. I’d say intuition is an aspect of hearing an out of tune note but that intuition is built on, say hearing western harmony your whole life. The idea of just intuiting things about epistemology, or truth, or etc without ever having previous experience though? Just trusting the heart? I think that is fantasy. If I just trust what feels good (though I think there is some truth to this) Even a deep awakening that is profound and true is often misunderstood by people.
  7. @Salvijus Yeah, but that’s not true either. We hear all kinds of music in western harmony. You have a memory and pattern recognition of the intervals in music and when something it out of key you hear it sounding bad. It’s auditory processing, pattern recognition. A key that is out of tune, is out of tune. It’s not really something we use intuition for because we can actually hear it. Musical harmony is essentially math. Also, music evokes feelings and emotions and out of tune note evokes a discordant feeling which you feel directly. Not, “hmm, I have an intuition about a note”. Intuition can help guide the recognition but, it’s not first order of the cognitive process. I think intuition is a word that can describe it.
  8. I’ve learned never to argue with you about anything. Even if I am not arguing you will argue with me.
  9. 1. What if what is true feels uncomfortable, or what if it requires critical thinking? 2. Animals have instincts that’s not really intuition
  10. @Salvijus I don’t get it what are you arguing?
  11. Perhaps enlightened to a degree… but unwell. Perhaps there is more practical work to be done for your happiness.
  12. @TruthFreedom We tend to over estimate our level of awakening. Awakening isn’t the only aspect of human existence. If you study Integral Metatheory by Ken Wilbur in his book Towards a Radical Wholeness and Leo’s video on developing happiness maybe that would give you some maps and models. Awakening is important, but a sober mind and well developed life is the foundation for lasting happiness.
  13. @aurum it’s probably not a winning or losing kinda thing but health in general. Like Leo says, ideology is limited. Each of these diets are not robust and holistic enough likely as nutrition isn’t well understood. I like Bryan Johnson’s approach of referring to the data, and the Toaist approach about balance.
  14. US government now owns 50% of TikTok which is back online…?
  15. @Golem Hm, you are a new member are you?
  16. @Aaron p It is haha. It's a nice beard.
  17. @ConsciousMan The beard is the first step in being a sage for sure . You know what they say about big beards.
  18. @Buck Edwards Is it cool to use random girls pictures like that?
  19. @James123 10 Grams it a dangerous amount for a lot of people man. That is a lot of mushrooms! If it works for you and you know it that is fine. Just be careful because each strain has a different potency and you can easily 10x the strength. Don't assume Mushrooms are the same at 5meodmt though. You may be in for a rude awakening.
