Do your best to do personal finance with extreme self honesty, patience, constant improvement. Set financial goals. Get, live and stay debt free. Develop an emergency fund, then save. Supplement this basic task with reading books on personal finances and wealth building. 2. Keep home environment clean, bed made, floors swept and mopped etc, 3. 6. This is the sign of spirit egos no different than those who are not spiritual. Really, a deep spiritual depth with a strong psychology and robust set of experienced makes you very open. This openness breads maturity as you make distinctions within an open mind. Nothing should really offend an authentically spiritual person. Though, in practice this may not happen at all times.
  7. Remember to be kind, and allow yourself to question your interpretations of things. Being open and closed in a calm cool way. Realize this is a thread about conflict, so some degree of disagreement, different interpretations, confusion, etc is normal. As long as we remain relatively kind and respectful to each other given the nature of conflict things are going well here.
  8. My main take aways of Ram Dass work is the importance of love, embracing old age and dying, dealing with suffering, the complexity of family life, and his down to earth way of making you feel like he is lovingly going through the same as you are.
  9. Reading the book Cosmic Nutrition by Mantak Chia found this quote ”The Oneness (Wu Chi) splits and becomes two. These two are the poles and energies of yin and Yang. They emerge continuously from this point within the expanse of infinity as a result of the endless movement within the primal sea. By their combination and interplay, the yin and Yang give rise to all forms that inhabit the world of the relative universe. Thus, all antagonistic complimentary dualisms of the phenomenal world are but the two faces of the front and the back of one ultimate reality”. Wow, Chinese medicine has quite the epistemic foundation.
  10. Quote from “Be as you Are” By David Godman and Ramana Maharshi “The Self This is the term that he used the most frequently. He defined it by saying that the real Self or real “I” is, contrary to perceptible experience, not an experience of individuality but a non-personal, all inclusive awareness. It is not to be confused with the individual self which he said was essentially non-existent, being a fabrication of the mind which obscures the true experience of the real Self. He maintained that the Self is always present and always experienced but he emphasized that one is only consciously aware of it as it really is when the self-limiting tendencies of the mind have ceased. Permanent and continuous Self awareness is known as Self-Realization”
