Well, itβs all about balance and using tools appropriately. If I am doing deep study of a text, say in Chinese medicine and I want to dive deeper into terms, compare ideas from different sources and to do it in rapid time to make extremely deep connections from a wide range of epistemics as I have been this morning it helps to deepen my thinking. I can ask whatever questions are coming up as I am making connections and ask CHATGPT for information. It helps me contemplate deeper than ever before. I can clarify definitions, ask for book summaries, ask it to contrasts western and eastern ideas and get myself the big overview picture extremely quickly which helps me know if I am on the right track. When reading a book you read. You also read when using chat GPT but you can ask and help form the material that you read in real time. I do also spend time thinking my own thoughts. But, education and study is very important because contemplation requires fuel, at least for me. Of course one must use their own brain. But, itβs a tool like any otherβ¦ like a calculator, book, car, knifeβ¦ etc I really doubt itβs making people more dumb if they use it skillfully.

I woke up with the power out, Not really somethin to shout about. Ice has covered up my parents hands, Don't have any dreams don't have any plans. I went out into the night, I went out to find some light. Kids are swingin from the power lines, Nobody's home so nobody minds I woke up on the darkest night, Neighbors all were shouting that they Found the light - "we found the light." - Shadows jumpin' all over my walls, Some of them big, some of them small. I went out into the night I went out to pick a fight with anyone. Light a candle for the kids, Jesus christ don't keep it hid! Ice has covered up my parents eyes, Don't know how to see, don't know how to cry. Growin' up in some strange storm, Nobody's cold, nobody's warm. I went out into the night, i went out to find some light. Kids are dyin' out in the snow, look at them go - look at them go! And the power's out in the heart of man, Take it from your heart put it in your hand. What's the plan? what's the plan? Is it a dream? Is it a lie? I think i'll let you deceide. Just light a candle for the kids, Jesus christ don't keep it hid! Cause nothing's hid, From us kids! You ain't foolin' nobody - with the lights out! And the power's out in the heart of man, take it from your heart put it in your hand. And there's something wrong in the heart of man, You take it from your heart and put it in your hand! Where'd you go?!

I asked chat GPT: βWhatβs the relationship between Qigong, rational cognitive behavioural therapy, poly vagal theory, herbs, nutrition, rest, mindfulness, spirituality and health from a holistic systems thinking perspective on mind body health and healthy living?β From a holistic systems thinking perspective on mind-body health, the relationship between Qigong, rational cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Polyvagal Theory, herbs, nutrition, rest, mindfulness, spirituality, and health can be interconnected in various ways: 1. **Qigong and Mind-Body Connection:** Qigong involves movement, breath control, and meditation, promoting the flow of energy (Qi) in the body. This aligns with the mind-body connection, fostering physical and mental well-being. 2. **CBT and Cognitive Harmony:** Rational CBT focuses on restructuring negative thought patterns. Integrating this with holistic practices fosters cognitive harmony, enhancing overall mental health. 3. **Polyvagal Theory and Nervous System Regulation:** Polyvagal Theory explores the autonomic nervous system's role in stress responses. Practices like Qigong and mindfulness can contribute to nervous system regulation, promoting resilience and emotional balance. 4. **Herbs and Nutrition for Physical Health:** Herbs and proper nutrition provide essential nutrients for physical health. A holistic approach recognizes the connection between diet, overall health, and mental well-being. 5. **Rest and Recovery:** Adequate rest is crucial for the body's recovery. Balancing rest with active practices like Qigong contributes to overall vitality and resilience. 6. **Mindfulness and Present Awareness:** Mindfulness practices enhance present-moment awareness, reducing stress. Combining mindfulness with Qigong and CBT contributes to a comprehensive approach to mental health. 7. **Spirituality and Meaningful Living:** Spirituality, in various forms, can provide a sense of purpose and meaning. This contributes to overall well-being and resilience in the face of challenges. In a holistic systems perspective, these elements form an integrated approach to health, acknowledging the interconnectedness of physical, mental, and spiritual aspects. Personalizing these practices to align with your goals contributes to a powerful and balanced approach to healthy living.

Anyone into Essential Oils? Ive recently bought a Lavender Mint mix and created my own cologne with it. I want to smell fresh, and smell the relaxing clean scent. I wonder if anyone here has extensive experience that care share their favourite mixes, oils, and products they make. Include some of the benefits of the mix. Thanks!

Sleeping is giving in, No matter what the time is. Sleeping is giving in, So lift those heavy eyelids. People say that you'll die Faster than without water. But we know it's just a lie, Scare your sons and scare your daughter. People say that your dreams Are the only things that save ya. Come on baby in our dreams, We can live our misbehavior. Every time you close your eyes Lies, lies! Every time you close your eyes Lies, lies! Every time you close your eyes Lies, lies! Every time you close your eyes Lies, lies! Every time you close your eyes Every time you close your eyes Every time you close your eyes Every time you close your eyes People try and hide the night Underneath the covers. People try and hide the light Underneath the covers. Come on hide your lovers Underneath the covers, Come on hide your lovers Underneath the covers. Hidin' from your brothers Underneath the covers, Come on hide your lovers Underneath the covers. People say that you'll die Faster than without water, But we know it's just a lie, Scare your son, scare your daughter, Scare your son, scare your daughter. Scare your son, scare your daughter. Now here's the sun, it's alright! (Lies, lies!) Now here's the moon, it's alright! (Lies, lies!) Now here's the sun, it's alright! (Lies, lies!) Now here's the moon it's alright (Lies, lies!) Every time you close your eyes Lies, lies! Every time you close your eyes Lies, lies! Every time you close your eyes Lies, lies! Every time you close your eyes Lies, lies! Every time you close your eyes Every time you close your eyes

What is mature spirituality? This is the most important question I am asking myself with regards to the spiritual aspect of my life. I notice on this forum that we are coming from many different paths: religions, genders, identities, cognitive capacities, Trauma histories, age groups, etc When you mix us all in a forum talking about such lofty subjects it gets rather complicated to talk and understand what we each mean. I think a common goal that rings true to Actualized.org videos and teachings is that what we are trying to do is develop a mature spirituality using the best methods to do so. Many of us taking on this massive challenge are starting at low levels of development. We are so low in development in fact that we cannot fathom how developed a human can become spiritually, cognitively, and creatively. We develop a spiritual maturity that looks different at each part of our journey. If we are really just starting out with Actualized.org material, or have little experience studying philosophy, and spiritual topics such as God, awakening, different states of consciousness, infinity, paradox etc... It makes sense to be really humble, patient and relaxed learning about these things. It also makes sense to go slow, be extremely cautious and ensure you are going about your progress in a mature and safe way. If you make mistakes, take 100% responsibility and become wise. I think it's important that we go slow, take our time and focus on asking ourselves the questions... 1. Is this really true? 2. What do I know for sure? 3. What have I directly experienced? 4. What Don't I really know? 5. How can I learn more? 6. How can I become more conscious? 7. How can I become more loving? 8. How can I become more spiritually mature? 9. How can I communicate about spiritual matters in a mature way? 10. Could my saying God is real just be a belief or identity I've created? Or is my belief their is no god just a belief or an identity I've created? 11. What is the difference between absolute truth and relative truth? 12. How many books have I read on spirituality? 13. Am I sure I am mature enough for spirituality at this point in my life? 14. How do I make sure to balance all the areas in my life?
