  5. You should be thinking in decades for LP. You can still develop skills where you are.
  6. I cannot relate to that
  7. We also should be open to feedback from others when they tell of us our errors, accept responsibility for actions and the consequences they bring.
  8. There are consequences in reality. This is worth contemplating. Contemplate deeply the consequences of your actions. Face the truth and improve. Itโ€™s not easy sometimes. The time you wasted, the failures, the immoral actionsโ€ฆ it all has consequences. But, we canโ€™t live in fear and be paralyzed by potential setbacks, past setbacks, etcโ€ฆ we have to become wise, stick to our principles and build the best life we can. At the end of the day you canโ€™t control the entire universe. Even ourselves at time is hard to control. Focus on doing your best, loving yourself and being compassionate toward yourself and others. Life is bigger than your finite ego. There are rules, social norms, etcโ€ฆ follow them. Be wise, be a decent citizen. Pay your debts. Be kind to others. Build healthy communities. Work as long as you need to. Work to build beautiful earth. Honour earth and its existential challenges. Be strong. Grow deep roots.
  9. Damn, just did some deep frog fish shadow work. If I stretch the metaphor outward I can see that I too have sinned. I allowed myself to deeply see my sins and feel the pain of repentance and self confession. I still donโ€™t know truly what to do about it. But, I can for sure see this level of challenging truth holding as being beneficial to my character growth.
  10. @Magnanimous Simply choose low impact sports with very low chances of head injury... Plus, more sports you play for fitness and fun aren't played at a level that you are likely to sustain injury.
  11. It's a nice daaaay
  12. I need to organize my book shelf and create a collection in my common place book of all the books I've read, own and want to buy. I have been putting this off.

  14. Life needs to be looked at holistically, and realistically. Does it hurt me I may never be in a great band like Arcadefire? Yes, it does. But, I can still enjoy the music and I can still build my own thing. I am a good musician as well. Who knows what maturity will bring.
  15. I want to keep refining my life each day. My debt is an issue. My plans are changing around it. It really needs to be a primary focus. It will get paid, I see it coming down. Iโ€™ve paid off some debt this year. But, for my mental health and vitality I have to balance myself which means there is no quick fix. My personal finance spreadsheets are accessible on my phone and laptop. This means I can easily review it at any time and on a regular basis. I also have a debt repayment calculator for a truth based approach to debt repayment and future debt free living. Other than increasing my income. Itโ€™s sort of a shitty position to be inโ€ฆ but, at least I am here and itโ€™s making me learn. I have my vision for debt free living. I am maturing greatly financially through this set back. I have everything I need. I have plenty of books, I live in a good place, I have my Qigong certification, I have plenty of books. Of course, I want to buy more courses, books, etc but lack the funds to do so. Which is a cause for hopelessness if my past. However, with YouTube, ChatGPT, the books I have, libraries, and budgeting small book purchases each month I can ensure I continue learning while paying down debt. Each week I will continue to develop professionally at my day job, develop my speaking skills/ leadership at Toast Masters, develop my Qigong teaching skills by making a video and running a live on Saturday. I will also continue to contact local places to begin teaching local classes. I will likely host a bi-weekly Meetup group. I Will continue to refine my nutrition, sleep, rest, and phone use. I Will continue to attend Pace groups to get my socialization needs met. The app has been a huge help. I will also each week improve my task management, to do lists, and practical budgeting. Each week I will move inch but inch towards my goal of teaching Qigong full time.
