  1. @99th_monkey I don't really know what you mean by enlightenment work, but I remember someone famous, I think Sam Harris, saying their wife taught children meditation and it drastically improved their behavior and patience within a few weeks. They may be able to do it , whatever it may be, with you if you start there.
  2. @Hardik jain What exactly are you "doing"? Sometimes I think, but I just shift my focus to intentional breathing before removing that as a focus and just sit or lay down for the remainder of the time without moving. Eventually you'll learn how to let go and not entertain the thoughts. They'll come and go and you'll still be meditating. Stop trying to get rid of your thoughts and stop thinking you have to get results. The "weird" experiences come every so often and you can't anticipate it, but you'll see! Keep going! You could also try guided meditations! I do that as well. I have all of the Headspace (app) recordings and I listen to Tara Brach at https://www.tarabrach.com/guided-meditations/
  3. No problem, @Vaishnavi! I'm happy people are deciding to purchase after seeing the replies of people who already purchased it. I made the decision to purchase as a result and I am glad I did. Start saving!
  4. @Natasha I don't believe he has yet, but he might at some point. I think it's better that he hear it from someone trying to help him change his life than his friends, tv, or video games. If you think he is old enough to get something out of it then go for it. It may plant a seed that will help him grow into a great man.
  5. Thanks to everyone who recommended the program! I bought it and am glad I didn't wait. I can tell he put a lot of work into this course. He has a lot of great info and I just started. After a nice intro (5 videos) he transitions into concepts I have to internalize and begin to act on immediately.
  6. @Samuel I agree! The furthest i've made it was around 45 days and I noticed a huge change in my thoughts, which changed my physiology, and confidence (cold approaching) with women. I was more focused and started sharing thoughts and smiling more while interacting with EVERYONE.
  7. Meditation definitely showed me the possibilities for true presence in the moment. Just those few, momentary glances blew me away. Watching and listening to Podcasts and Youtube videos of people who give great advice because they're passionate about helping people. Becoming Vegan. I have significantly decreased the odds that i'll get a host of nasty diseases. I also feel as if my food is almost always fuel. A lot of what I was eating before just gave me a huge spike of pleasure and then a huge decrease in motivation to even move lol. Reading self help books, which I've only started recently, have definitely helped me peek over the walls I have built for myself. I'm currently working on destroying the walls to truly experience the possibilities I am missing out on. Helping people! I never really feel qualified to help people because I always looked at the negatives in myself, but a lot of people trust my opinion and some even act on it. A lot of times I just tell people what I say or should be saying to myself. It also feels good to see other people doing things that make them feel better.
  8. @abrakamowse Yes I agree and I definitely will. I will be very active on the forum soon and I will definitely share my experiences with the course!
  9. @abrakamowse I decided I am going to buy it for sure. I am going to get focused today and plan out my month because I already have a lot of new things planned. I have to focus a bit more on what I want before I purchase, but I am going to purchase it April 1st
  10. I'm considering buying it. I would like the review of someone who already purchased it to see how they feel about it.
  11. @vizual I agree the obsession isn't good, but not a lot of people get the flow. Even if they do, I think it's better to have the skills to direct the flow if you know what I mean. I personally would like get what I want, not choose from what comes to me. Either way, like you said, "each to his own".
  12. @vizual Nope... I joined last month. I thought I should check the forum yesterday and decided to start reading and writing on it today. I decided to post to you because you are obviously hating for no reason. Tell me i'm wrong about my assumption... Do you look and not approach? I think the PUA guys have a lot of good info for both pickup and life in general. You can listen to them or not, but discounting people for a unique personality or "douchey vibe" is ridiculous.
  13. @vizual The ones you stare at most likely. Their fake, douchey vibe is delivered confidently and they go up to the women instead of gawking like real, awesome vibe folk like you.
