  1. @seeking_brilliance I just checked out your YouTube channel. The content quality is amazing, you just earned a subscriber. And it also targets a niche that appears to be a rarity on YouTube, unlike stuff such as ASMR. I hope your channel succeeds, wish you the best of luck.
  2. @The_Truth_Seeker I resonate with a lot of what you are saying. Human life seems ... very limited. But I strongly suspect killing yourself wont help. You might end up in a worse situation, or end up in some kind of hell-realm that you yourself have put in place as some sort of negative-reinforcement against suicide, but I'm just speculating, there's no way we can really know. In other words, there is no other way out. Enlightenment seems to be the only way out. So you want out? Start working towards this objective.
  3. Yes, that's precisely what happened, although a very politically-incorrect way of saying it. European expansionism and colonialism cut off Africa from the industrial revolution. lmao IQ is a very unproven way of measuring intelligence, the quality we refer to as 'intelligence' may be far more complex than we previously thought, and IQ may not accurately reflect this at all. Secondly, even with IQ there is no accurate population-wide measurements available where environmental factors are equalized. It is just something we cannot know for a long time. There are too many problems with calculating population-wide IQ, and it is not reliable. In many European countries today, gay marriage is illegal. Homophobia was prevalent till very recently in the western world. The global 'white' population is increasing, and there are more white people today on the face of the planet than any time in history. In some countries, their percentage of a whole is what is decreasing, doesn't mean the white population is decreasing lmao. I say 'white' because it is a very ambiguous term, just like 'black'. I have seen Afghanistan people who look like Scandinavians, as well as many people from the Caucasus and the middle east. This is truly the icing on top of the bukkake cake. I'm done here.
  4. If you believe all of black Africa is dirt poor and living in poverty, then you only have your own ignorance to blame. Botswana is more advanced than some all-white east European shitholes. That's because they had good leadership, which is what matters in the end. Rwanda is doing pretty well too, they do not have the GDP per capita of Botswana, but they have better standards of living than even some Asian countries. Nigeria is growing at an exponential rate.
  5. This one was absolutely powerful.
  6. This one was amazing. On worldly pleasures, transcendence of suffering and attaining bliss while still in the body.
  7. More on self-inquiry.
  8. @SilentTears You're welcome.
  9. @Phyllis Wagner You need to have a direct-experience of a 'state-change' that Leo has mentioned. Until then, yes spirituality will sound and feel like a scam, and might as well be. Personally, in a very deep meditative state, I proved to myself beyond reasonable doubt that this existence is all Maya, an Illusion. I'm none the wiser as to what's actually going on, or who I actually am, but there is certainly something beyond. Of this, I am certain.
  10. On Realization and the nature of the Self. Real gold nugget at timestamp 1:01:10.
  11. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leaky_gut_syndrome "Leaky gut syndrome is a hypothetical, medically unrecognized condition." "Unlike the scientific phenomenon of increased intestinal permeability, claims for the existence of "leaky gut syndrome" as a distinct medical condition come mostly from nutritionists and practitioners of alternative medicine." "Stephen Barrett has described "leaky gut syndrome" as a fad diagnosis and says that its proponents use the alleged condition as an opportunity to sell a number of alternative-health remedies" Leo, I'm not dismissing your claims. Just feels a bit weird as to why the medical community would discredit the existence of such a phenomenon, I mean what's really in it for them to deny it?
  12. @infinitelovegodetc I don't think you are awakened.
  13. @Nahm The YouTube channel will be very valuable for us, thank you Phil. When will we be seeing the next video?
  14. @levani Leo is right. Isha Kriya is basically a watered-down Kriya for normies, not very potent. Try this. I suggest you watch the entire playlist.
  15. I got it. Bottom-up is reductionist for the reasons you stated. Top-down is more holistic. Thank you that was well-worded and increased my grasp of the topic. I still don't understand why the 'holistic' explanation is called 'top-down'. Wouldn't it be better to say '1 to 1' (bottom-up) model vs a 'many to 1' (top-down) model?
  16. Thanks, that was a good explanation, although I had a little trouble understanding what the "top" and the "bottom" of the model was. I think the "bottom" of the model is the receptor, and the "top" is a particular region in the brain? And in top-down, instead of 'one neurotransmitter --> cortex', it's basically 'multiple neurotransmitters + some other shit happenning in between --> cortex', so why did they even name the latter model as top-down? Everything ends in the cortex after all. I understood this, in bottom-up it's one neurotransmitter --> cortex. So any shit happens in Cortex (our experience), it must be from that particular neurotransmitter. But you're arguing for top-down which implies such experiences may have a myriad of sources, which throws out the DMT = mystical experience, because DMT is that one neurotransmitter.
  17. @Mythos That is a great question. "If solipsistic self-deception is literally Gods only trick how can you say You/God has infinite power." Well worded and well though-out.
  18. @Carl-Richard @Leo Gura It feels almost as if God has created this large massive chain of causal-links, too large to unravel in one lifetime, and at the source of the chain, it's all bullshit. The greatest Troll in human history. Maybe it will be a universal rick-roll at the other end, who knows.
  19. @Carl-Richard I couldn't find any. Although I did find this literature survey: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6088236/. I didn't read it, I'm not an expert in this topic and most of it goes over my head. I think even researching such a causal link would be a difficult endeavor, no? I mean, is it even possible to examine the chemical breakup of a human brain without invasive methods, let alone, that of a human in states of mystical experience? I personally have zero idea on this topic. Maybe you might understand it better. I remember reading in another article that the little amount of DMT found in the human brain was located at the surface, or the cortex (?) of the brain itself. I suppose this would strengthen this idea that higher-order cortical functions have a strong influence on perception? Once again, no idea what I'm talking about really.
  20. @Carl-Richard We don't know for sure about humans, but it has definitely been verified scientifically with rodents, that DMT indeed gets released in the brains of rodents when they're about to die. And we do know that DMT is produced in human brains, albeit in very low quantities. That is crazy enough for me.
  21. @Dark_White I see, yes that sort of model would accommodate the fundamentals of non-duality (collapse of subject - object duality?). That is very hard to verify through direct experience, at-least when you're sober.
