i already do, nahm does, and you obviously do, too. i actually like his style think its funny. also makes me reflect a lot. maybe understanding sometimes is only meant for those who understand. thats the reason why we understand anything at all. -

sexuality and gender roll in a sense is always part of enlightenment there wouldn’t be one path without at least having some kind of integration of the sexes conceptionally. although we are mostly talking about blue oriented spirituality and gender rolls what makes it difficult to create anew scope or perspective about relationships. strict monogamy in a sense is already a goal no one could keep and if only the “sin” in thoughts would be an obstacle. in that sense yes monogamy will dissolute in shades of commitment towards another being. the projection of a world in commitment conflict is nothing personal but societal. a rule for every group starting at two. -

we could ask: why sadhguru is not awake? its funny to talk about corruption and grades of awakening. that’s actual what then really may hit you up - the moment when you realize what awakening might really be. -

third day, the feel was a little different each day - did 3x breathings and held the breath with exhalated lungs for 2:30 mins (record is around 9 mins, and 24 mins with pure oxygen inhalation - wonder how they do that) after the third round. full body cold shower today + heat up phase. the heat feels different if cold water was applied only at the feet and arms or concentrates also in the chest area. @Gili Trawangan pretty sure it is because of the breathing especially - for me during the heat up phase i also today had especially heat in the upper body. in some sense you are doing cardio vascular training without doing sports for it. could be interesting to do some heart chakra meditation or yoga alongside, as it is also a physical activation of anahata.

@Preety_India @mandyjw wait gals opinion and perspective are two different lenses. a concept for example is sometimes only a a pattern like lense you put in front of your eye to compare it to what actually is. a comparison compares two or more perspectives or concepts to find which gives the most accurate picture of that which is lying underneath the concept/perspective/and then ultimately opinion will form, if you take a stand towards either this or that. sometimes two perspectives don’t have to exclude each other but build an inference. -

did you mean your opinion > opinions of others ? because i can tell you right now — that’s a trap. not saying you wanted to express that but some people will still recive that as the ultimate truth. not saying it could not be changed although changing that would probably be one of the awakenings only a change of perspective could make you change into which is only achievable by change of perspective into understanding that opinion has not much to do with awakening, although it has. -
first of all - sounds like you then buy the food somewhere where its not healthy. change that pattern, find places where they sell more healthy food and if anything buy there. also another thing possible is, then at least choose the most healthy food they sell instead of what you crave for. slowly changing that habit. if you changed already to buy the healthiest food possible you can start to have some healthy food with you which is less expensive, like fruits for example. changing the diet does not work from one day to the next - its about patterns you havetrained yourself to act on for years it will take some weeks to change that. if the gyms are closed, find some exercises on youtube - at least for the time being, so you don’t fall into that negative curve of feeling bad that you don’t at least do sth for your body. it’s ok you‘ll find a way on how to change your patterns slowly.

its not about this - its about how it feels - if you want a challenge learn to do splits. that‘s something that would be a real challenge with a positive outcome which also makes some sense.

@fridjonk well that sounds like you are already in the advanced level. its like if a kenyan stays in sauna for 45 minutes while doing some advanced sports and then going for a marathon like jogging wich also only takes him 45 mins. maybe like that. by the way how many chili’s can you eat without crying?

second day 3x breathing cold shower extremities only - heat up phase wrapped in blanket, dozing off for some mins like after sauna. this time it took longer until the counter reaction of heat set in - still liking this the most.

no it’s not strange - try to go down with the breathing to three rounds - if you have cramps...maybe four are a little too much. (if you don’t take magnesium it could be helping to take magnesium supplementation) energy down is normal, its like doing sports or sauna, it’s in a sense positive stress to the body so the body will ask for rest after a while - maybe do meditation in advance and have a 15min sleep in the afternoon. talking of nadis... ida and pingala one is activating and the other is calming - sympathicus and parasympathicus.

@intotheblack sorry for the directness. its a good chance to reflect on that which is essential - maybe we could think about what then is essential. on one hand we have this possibility of a minimalistic lifestyle - and on the other hand we have the possibility of a reduced still abundant lifestyle. the confrontation with the actual situation will probably rise a question about the how but will not automatically give an adequate response. your ability to limit yourself is not everyones ability to limit themselves - your ability to expand is not everyone’s ability to expand. -
@Preety_India its interesting that this phantasy is about you but he did not say it was a rule he would keep for you at the same time - if he would have said: i will stay single for you forever. that somehow would have showed that he still was in love with you and cannot think of moving on. but he did not talk about what he would do - in some sense he probably is not over it yet and maybe he also still has emotions for you and would be probably hurt if you would find someone really fast after a break up - of course this can be hurting after a break up, maybe it would also hurt you if he would be able to replace you very fast. but extending that to your hole life and asking for that is an attempt of his ego to keep ownership and control over your life and your decisions in an obsessive way owning your femininity and love. no doubt there are romantic feelings involved - but romantic feelings which are supported by an egocentric patriarchal metaphysical cosmovision.

who says feeling is not part of understanding? making it a duality is one of the problems - although making it a non duality is also problematic. you can unlimitly understand and at the same time feel that there is a limit to feeling, wich is to feel unlimited. if alone understanding this will take you forever - the forever is worth it before seeking feeling. -
actually i think it might have a less severe curve if not eating dairy - its a stupid assumption regarding the severeness of the case but could be a factor - since going vegan usually it’s getting less severe if having any kind of cold, the time frame goes down. italy is one of the best countries for vegetarians to bath in yummy food but for vegans its getting difficult, means they eat a lot of milk products - its a pretty weird and bold assumption without making too much sense because there are a lot of variables which could be higher influencing the cases, but i am pretty sure that food has a lot of influence on a system regarding inflammations. and there is some probability that this is a small variable. so even though there is probably much more preventive stuff to do, its in general helpful to not eat dairy during any kind of flu or cold. although i don’t think it makes a difference on infection rate. at least in hospitals it would be maybe worth trying on that.

one of the rules i learned is starting with the water on the most distant extremity from the heart - which would be right leg until knee then left leg until knee then right leg until hip, left until hip. right arm left arm and rest of body - that’s less stressful if you start on the method and don’t want to go full monty from the start.

@Epikur that’s super interesting but will only work as immune system build up if all three breathing exercises are creating body heat and in combination with water, at least regarding this as an immune system build up against corona - that’s the essence of the application, if you want to push immune system right now. of course all breathing techniques are also meditative and lung streangthening techniques and have different effects on the body separately. without heat or hydro its not the same effect. so you basically have to find out the differences. if you will test all of these - a feedback about these techniques regarding body heat would be pretty cool.

i prefer sauna and ice bathing but that’s not possible right now... you could also go running in the forrest if that’s still possible for you... to bring the body temp up and the oxygen flowing. pretty much the same effect maybe better air quality. wim hoff is really practical in the sense that you have that method available without all of that everywhere you go.

in the app it seemed like it’s into the whole belly but that meaning also fully inflating the lungs. downloaded that app a while ago. hydro therapy is a pretty old medical method - there was a priest in germany who invented a whole concept in the middle ages just about mainly cold hydro therapy. and we all know ice bathing after sauna probably. the breathing technique is there to bring heat to the body - if you would start with cold showers on a cold body it would have a counterproductive effect. although i recommend to wrap up into a blanket afterwards to get the warmth counterreaction of the body in full effect. be aware that its also stressful for the body - so if you already have fever it can also mess with temperature balance and put the immune system down. in a healthy system it will bring up natural cortisol level, that’s one of the secrets behind it. i‘ve known these methods since childhood, have rheumatoid arthritis which doesn’t respond really good to cold hydro therapy - but for the corona case i might also take part in the challenge. just be aware of how your body reacts to it if you have autoimmune disease and it’s getting worse in the beginning could be either going away after a short while or getting worse (if its getting worse you need warmth therapies) - stop if you feel any side effects for a longer period of time - its also medicine not only a zen stick. hope your water is getting cold enough
