  1. I would rather think it as: ''You screwed up If you went to work for Starbucks and settled there for good.'' Here is your chance to be conscious about your life path, which is already rare position to be at, especially that young. ''You should've spent the prior ten years of your life already having a rock solid plan for career and business''. A little exaggeration there, not to be taken too literally. He sometimes tests us like that
  2. Of course hearing truth from someone experiencing it doesn't make it true to the observer, that's obvious. I've personally felt there is something unique under the surface of those videos that you don't face very often. I don't know if it's just the contrast compared to his usual formal videos or that it's just ''nice'' to see that kind of vlog styled material from a guy who's teachings you dig, I don't know. But yeah, from logical perspective I also don't see much of honest value there if we look at the negative consequences.
  3. I haven't have time to participate on this forum too much, so maybe this topic is already dressed in some form on some thread. Leo I read some thread where you said you won't share raw enlightenment footage anymore in the future because people aren't ready for it and all misinterpretation around your teachings doesn't only make you look like an ideological cult leader but also makes the message you spread and the wisdom behind look something it is not, which of course violates and threatens your work. I totally understand that and see how big of a challenge that it. But what if you still kept shooting more raw and authentic material without too much filtering and limitation? Let's say you did, and after all ridiculing and negative effect that has to the phenomenon still 5 % of people who watch that material are open-minded enough not to ridicule it and 10 % of those people are benefiting really much and getting amazing insights that are critical to their growth, which of course could help them to do spiritual work to improve the world in the future. Could that positive effect exceed the negative effect in the big picture? Or is protecting the legacy of spiritual phenomenon too important that it would not be worth it? I have a feeling that Gandhi might have had this kind of approach with what he did, and sure it got him killed but he also had lots of positive effect in the world. Compared to 100 years ago, we now have technology that makes it possible to be more proactive with that method and restrict access to that material for the right audience etc., which of course wouldn't be the answer because anyone who wants to damage you and the phenomenon through your material could do it, but it could have an effect on it. Anyway I think there are ways to restrict the material for the right people pretty efficiently but that would probably be too laborious and difficult to pull off. I haven't read about Gandhi and haven't really contemplated this matter through so it might be silly to compare his work with yours or even think about this whole thing. Just spitting some rash thoughts here. Gladly taking thoughts from everybody on this one.
  4. I would guess that he would like to continue shooting that kind of material because I remember him saying that he needs to keep his teachings at a ''nicer'' level because people want fake spiritual perfection instead of honest raw material and that Actualized.org has exceeded that level some time ago. So he is basically withdrawing with the raw material because of those ''wild and negative interpretations'' or damage those people can make. I've also seen guys on this forum who are enjoying that raw material and would like to see it more in the future. So in theory without the damage of those naysayers it would probably be beneficial for him to keep posting those videos, but in reality because of the negative force created by the naysayers it does come down to balance like you said, which is exactly the matter I'm being curious about here.
  5. Having a life purpose or a sense of clear direction in life is the foundation for being a MAN. Sure you can grow a beard, pump some iron to gain muscle, start becoming more confident and boost your masculinity in other ways too to make yourself physically and maybe mentally more manly (not to say its bad, it's totally fine if you want so), but if you truly want to be masculine, you need to know what you want from life and make that the base of you life that you act from. Like mandy insinuated; when you follow your path, your attractive properties start to rise naturally. Finding authentic direction of course requires that you know yourself, your values and strengths. Leo's life purpose course helps you with that, if you haven't checked it out yet. It's not gonna be easy to be a MAN
  6. To me creativity is using ''life-resources'' or maybe we can say ''consciousness'' as diversely as possibly to create more multicolored life to yourself and through yourself to others. I've noticed that the more I live according to my values the more creative I tend to be. Living on the edge, pushing and challenging myself towards my goals - despite all the pain and struggle that come from it - boosts my creativity. When my ego's having a backlash or I'm just off the course for some reason, I don't really find creativity in the midst of that ''complacency'' in my life.
  7. At first it's important to know what you want to do with your "freetime", do you want to spend it being productive to get yourself closer to your goals? If so, plan the specific action steps so you don't end up scrolling Instagram. If you know what you want or have to do and still end up distracting yourself all the time, then it could be that your motivation isn't on point and you should consider that is the thing you are going towards really authentic to you. Anyway, in most cases it's simply resistance. Even if you do what you love to do you will feel strong resistance from time to time and it's quite normal. Understanding resistance helps to kick its ass and there is a great book I'd like to recommend, it's The War of Art by Steven Pressfield.
  8. I would recommend watching Youtube videos regularly because there is so much good and different material about gym and fitness there. Try to find some gym content creator who clicks with you and start watching the videos, that should give you the knowledge base and motivation that you need to get started. What comes to action, a friend is always a good choice or a PT, but you can also do it yourself, which will actually crow you the most if you are serious about it.
  9. Have you considered getting coached yourself? From a successful coach you could get valuable insights not only about coaching and how to become one but also some important points from the marketing side of the job.
  10. I've been studying spiral dynamics for a while now, and I find that model really interesting and believe it's one of the most significant creations for understanding human development, not only individually but also collectively. I'm not yet a pro with the model. I was introduced to it in 2018 and have managed to understand the model better and better, especially on theoretical level. At first I liked to analyze people, especially smart people in the spotlight of mainstream personal development, such as Jordan Peterson, Joe Dispenza, Joe Rogan, etc., but just lately I've started to see the model in almost every person I come across, and it happens mostly unconsciously. The thing I can't quite get, and would love to understand better is: How is it that so many potential individuals won't grow and evolve? What are the factors for their personal status quo? And I'm talking about people that are smart and well educated intellectuals or academics. People that are systematically and socially super intelligent and are learning and studying from multiple sources about many different facets of life and (at least on the surface level) look like they are growing. Those people understand systems very well, but they tend to use that rare and beautiful understanding to manipulate systems in their ego's favor. I know it isn't so black in white. I could write an essay of affecting factors, but I feel like there is something simple and big that I'm not seeing, so I would like to hear other perspectives and points on this. I'm talking mostly about Stage Orange people here. I think that in our society a hop from Orange to Green is the hardest one anyway, but I'm really interested about the reason, especially with kind of people described above. I think the problem stems from close mindedness but I would like to hear if anyone has something to say about this.
  11. Yes. I was a bit blinded by my self-bias towards intelligent and rational people that I started assuming those people as superior in growth, forgetting that society-approved growth doesn't really work above Stage Orange. So of course for those super rational intelligent people it is harder to evolve cause they have their identity created by the very same great ego-centered rationality. Thinking for themselves is the key of course. For those kind of people turning into a wolf would sky rocket them up to Stage Yellow, and not much of weed is needed in between
  12. Yeah, ego is a sneaky slippery thing. Thanks for the tip!
  13. I agree. It's epecially when diving into details and needy greedy stuff, that models start feeling really rough.
  14. That's exactly why I think understanding the model really is important. By understanding it you can make your growth more conscious and that way avoiding already researched universal traps you can boost up your growth significantly. When it comes to growth, with an open mind I've come to understand that you can lead yourself to something that will safe you 10s of years, if not lifetimes. And Spiral Dynamics seems like one of those things. The power of open mindedness sometimes inspires the hell out of me
