  1. I guess to avoid getting lost in translation or mixed messages I will try to be more direct in my interpretation which might be total misunderstanding and a load of BS, always possible .... The nature of suffering... “Oh Bhikshus, there are four noble truths. They are the noble truths of suffering, the cause of suffering, the cessation of suffering and the path to the cessation of suffering.” From my limited perspective this a doctrine about the nature of suffering not a goal of ending suffering.. To desire to end suffering would be to place these judgments of right and wrong that @purerogue isn't all to fond of as they are just mental distinctions... to label suffering like that and then have the forced projection of ending it, why? But discussing the nature of suffering as a reflection of reality puts no projection on what should or shouldn't be done and it is left up to the people to decide for themselves what they want to do with it.. But hey maybe he was wrapped up in mental projections and defining right and wrong and what should and shouldn't be done... and his focus was on ending suffering... not what I have been taught but totally possible.. i'm open to it..
  2. @Bazooka Jesus Where or how did you come up with Bazooka Jesus? haha.. Was the name a synchronicity event with the 1000 tears of laughing death you underwent? How about the resurrection process? And life after?
  3. @purerogue maybe his core work was better described as the "the nature of suffering" not the attempt to end of suffering.. check on some of the material if and when possible, only if it calls to ya... There is a wealth of material covering a whole range of transcendental / trans-personal material.. A bunch that would fall into your classification of not possible. which you might be right, IDK myself. If you aren't familiar with it then it is a mute point... but eh.. interesting stuff.. might even be some grey area of attempting to bring nondual into the language of dual.. hence the numerous sources of esoteric wisdom and their attempt to speak to it, maybe peoples experience of it.. and maybe that gets flagged in your proposal.. again idk... stuff to kick around..
  4. @purerogue One of many forms, what are the others? what are the qualities you speak of? And if you could attempt to answer the question proposed, from what you have stated it seems like what people do is a matter of our minds interpretation and not based on what they are doing and I would like to know how that plays out in society and why don't collectively follow what you are prescribing? I have my mind, but I am curious about yours saying actions are only interpretations based on mind and free of the action itself, no real good or bad outside of the mind... How does that play out in your life and how do we embrace that philosophy in daily life and change from saying actions have consequences to actions are only defined by the quality of our mind? Thanks.. Interesting ideas..
  5. @purerogue @Eph75 Question.. Eph75 sick thumbnail pic too.. Would that be a Necker Cube? What do you two think of say Gautama the Buddha's teachings... The idea of transcending self and mind.. stepping into a nondual state, allegedly then attempting to guide people as if he gained "knowledge". Is his work total BS then, since that kind of knowledge can't be captured or understood? A guy selling snake oil BS?
  6. @purerogue Can you expand on that thought process.. I feel like I see it being said but not with much meat on the bones.... Also would you say that how you are treated by others has no real good or bad for your person? As in we collectively as a society shouldn't really focus on what people are doing we should only focus on how we interpret what they are doing because there really isn't good or bad, its just a mind thing.. I'm totally open to the idea, i just need to be walked through it.
  7. @Chumbimba Good on you... I like to say I am all expressions, there is no one or no-thing that isn't inside of me. I am capable of all things, I am no better or worse than anyone else... With that said i will live a biased life, full of ego judgment that seeks out the practice of unity and the awakening of consciousness... but I don't think that is better than anything else.. it is just what I am desiring... I applaud your interests and the warmth you are able to project upon people who deserve and need to be loved, forgiven, understood... We are all living out the great dance, the spiral of evolution is underway, we are all tasked to carry every experience... and it isn't until we have been something that we know it, we get it, we forgive, we love, we accept.... sounds like you are on your way... you will be questioned often, misunderstood often, condemned... but that is the burden you are meant to carry.. every now and then you will come across those who get you.. who see you... drink it in.. fill your cup.. know that you are known.. you are appreciated and keep on going.. Look up Viktor Frankel if you feel up to it.. The Unheard Cry For Meaning if you have a chance... there are sections where he is speaking truth of meaning to men serving sentences. it is powerful how freedom isn't always determined by the body but can often come from perception and understanding...
  8. @sultan_zayed I'm a fan of the idea that we never lose our representation within any of the stages, they are nested. Also, the colors are meant to be identifiers in a broad sense in practice it is more of an phasing or an amalgamation of traits that trend in favoritism towards some representation. Even within the political parties there is plenty of division in expression and it is noted as being far left or far right back towards moderate with all kinds of expressions in between. Someone can be socially liberal and fiscally conservative, all kinds of breeds. Again, I tend to favor this idea that we never "transcend" a stage or state in the sense that we leave it, it gets nested and we can access anytime we like or a stimulated into its framework. I see myself acting out all the states and stages within my conscious access for the rest of my life and i don't have any shame in that. My desire is to move towards unity and I will do my best but i submit to the will of what must be done, all things in time.. wait is time still a thing we consider hehe consciousness joke...
  9. @Chumbimba I'm right there with ya... i'm sure we make good company though...
  10. @Chumbimba If it is any consolation... change happens over time and incorporating knowledge of any age happens slower than we would like. If you look to history, it is inundated with examples of people being treated poorly while reputable information is being collected. And you are right in that he should be treated in accordance with his condition.. And if you look at @purerogue insight that upon inspection our own lives contain these same injustices... we are living in ways that cause great harm while being armed with knowledge of that fact.. Don't go hard on yourself.. This truth is one that many of us are wrestling with and trying to figure out what to do.. I does humble us though, when we are faced with stories of others that we may be quick to judge and say "I would never do that"... well... actually... A person's whose life is being taken, the end result is they no longer exist, do they care if it is because of a gun shot or that their water supply is contaminated because people demand jet fuel for spring break vacations or plastic to make their everyday life possible. The person having their life taken only focuses on the fact that their life is being taken... We all have blood on our hands... we didn't ask for it.. but we are responsible for figuring out what to do.. it all start by turning the pointed finger back to ourself..
  11. Is what you saying also mental masturbation, existentially false under the same pretense?
  12. loved that... funny to reflect on the state of the environment, communities of animals & humans & plants that are affected in detrimental ways in order to maintain the status quo... but.. as you say... "their approach does not fall in standard definition of crime".. looks like i made the cut, i'm in the group.. purerogue you truth speaker you.. @Chumbimba feel ya on this too... wild how we can think we are in control..
  13. @iamme - I write this with your name attached and I weave in and out of being personal with you in mind and then spoken as if to a crowd... much love.. Explore this one with me... Is it "wise to promote positivity, EVEN if they do it unwisely by bashing negativity"... lets dance lightly and together.. I totally believe I feel you in this and couldn't agree more... why wouldn't it be better to have positivity, even if i comes laced with negativity? I think / feel that what you are tapping here is a crucial question for many of us who are in a position to consider it with a degree of awareness that allows for various scenarios to run within our being.... Example... I like to say that humanity is in a car with a drunk driver that is speeding towards a cliff. There are some people who are like whatever lets have a good time before we sail off, simple. Then there are some (green -sprial D) that are yelling and screaming about changing out the driver, we need a Bernie or we need this person who speaks my green language... Here is the curve ball... The car is headed towards the cliff, does it matter if we are speeding with a drunk or if we take the scenic route with a humanist who is going to swerve side to side and sing joyous songs that makes people feel amazing right before they go off the cliff... The vehicle of culture, society, tradition, governance they are all steeped in place from which they came, apathy can easily be seen as being positive. Not rocking the boat and maintaining more of the same but coloring it green might feel positive to those receiving the benefits but it doesn't serve the whole. IF being positive comes by bashing negative is it really positive to someone who has stepped outside of that paradigm... tough cause they would have to be outside that paradigm to see it in the first place.... (Just so the focus doesn't get displaced. Bernie would make changes that I would love to see, but but. when we look at the overall state of finance and money printing, nationalism, environment, the education system and its primary focus, the values of society.... This is about stages and states not human ego characters and appealing to our desires from these spaces. Its to late in the game.. doing the same thing and expecting different results is insanity... And if you think electing Bernie is going to fix things... i appreciate your faith in ideals... but there is form and function, state and stages that sits below and will dictate where we go and what we are... I'm all in Bernie ok.. be clear.. ok back to the point) Getting people to see the light within the dark and the dark within the light, this to me, is one of the largest challenges we have.. There is a whole lot of apathy being passed off as positive in our society. And.. people have no malice in the delivery. they have no ill will.. they simply can't see what they are, what they are doing... And anything that speaks to the light being dark and the dark being light sets the off faster than fast. They won't talk about it, they won't acknowledge it.. they call it evil or negative and yet.. the judgment they heave upon it, the ill will they cast on the idea, the lack of acceptance they show... they are the very thing that wish to avoid... How much pain does a person have to go through to see this in themselves.... huh... ummmm... i'm just glad i made it through... my threads are tough for many people because this indiscriminate treatment, this dance of balance, my role my duty to step up in defence of a truth that isnt really known... not only did i traversed hell, I get to be treated with a viciousness that only a person steeped in the duality cult of positivity could render..... I take it.. I will continue to take it... For they know not what they do... So there is no confusion.. I don't think what any human is capable of comprehending is jaw dropping, doesn't make anyone special, it is what it is.. simple.. plain... basic.. life... I am not saying that I am or have achieved shit... But whether someone can relate to me when i say... The light is the dark and the dark is the light.... that is on them not me... and i will do my best to support those who are brave enough to walk through that fire... Soooo... When you speak the way you do, my heart sputters, i get butterflies in my stomach... here is someone who knows it too.. here is someone feeling twisted truth.. so thank you.. thank you for your pursuit.. we family..
  14. @Serotoninluv Wild... The nature of reality seems to come easy to you to break down.. but.. a personal connection can't be attempted... Tier 1... Locked within the division of their own imagining... Not you of course.. I have meet many people who wax poetic for days but are unable to do the person to person thing... To bad, I look forward to your continued insights..
  15. @Serotoninluv Did we attempt to connect at some other point I don't believe so? Or are you saying that this one thread with a couple of messages sums everything up? I looked back at the exchange and it is mild, accept, I did attempt to redirect you to what I was asking. I did that while be considerate and appreciative. You are obviously a knowledgeable individual, skilled. Did my questioning your answer trigger you in some way? Feel free to speak openly, you feel it, it is your truth, or is that not allowed because of status and position? Or do you feel uncomfortable expressing these sorts of truths? I respect that. It nice to know.. Or if you really wish to not speak these truths and would rather I just not know it is ok too.. I actually resonate with what you provide to community, they are fortunate to have you. Maybe sometimes in life we need different archetypes to deliver the same message. maybe it isn't a one size fits all. and maybe those that think they know need the variation the most... I am all things, all expressions, none do i reject, for they are the mandala i seek.. Good night my friend...
  16. @Serotoninluv I just noticed this comment... Before it was presented to me as "I can see you"... now it appears to be different? To what degree are you able to pierce another person's being and transcribe them? When you say we aren't on the same frequency what do you mean? We aren't both part of the eternal Truth? Or how does your judgment upon me fall and where does it place me in your supposed comparison to yourself? It would seem from the text that you see things that I can not, therefore you are superior? Therefore we aren't on the same frequency because you are more enlightened maybe and hold a "higher" vibration? I'm ok with your judgment feel free to speak openly, safe space. This line of reasoning is interesting. I appreciate your willingness to share. Good night to you as well...
  17. I am tossing this out there from a speculative position, purely for fun without any real weight behind it... exploring.. There is a new book out called The Case Against Reality, in this book he proposes that humans are programmed or designed to not experience reality as it is but are geared to recognize "fitness rewards". That what we see are more like icons on a desktop, icons attached the "real" essence of what is being represented through the symbol. Again I am not trying to lobby for anything, I just like the thought exercise. Could humans program a virtual reality with an AI that experience the virtual world in a way that seemed like reality? Is it possible that another entity of vast knowledge could create a VR that is what we are? Would that reality be nested inside of the actual reality, yes. Because it is nested within truth does that guarantee its ability to connect with that truth? Would it depend on its state and stage of evolution? Regardless of position everything is built on the fabric of truth, the unified field so can it be VR or just a level layered in ignorance? Then if we start factoring this upcoming spacetime, space, time are emergent properties and not fundamental; everything has been and will always be... Is there any level or distinction even present... IDK I'm just a fleshy sack with an imagination.. I appreciate people kicking it around.. fun to see... Again I am not trying to lobby for anything, I just like the thought exercise. I don't fall anywhere specific on the issue..
  18. @iamme Werd.... I like what you dropping.. Knowing the reality beyond the dual (positive and negative) only to speak of positive and negative as if it is truth, which it is from a place but it isn't... but it is.. but it isn't. but it is.. but it isn't. but it is.. but it isn't. but it is.. but it isn't. but it is.. but it isn't. but it is.. but it isn't. but it is.. but it isn't. but it is.. but it isn't. but it is.. but it isn't. but it is.. but it isn't. but it is.. but it isn't. but it is.. but it isn't. but it is.. but it isn't. but it is.. but it isn't. but it is.. but it isn't. but it is.. but it isn't. Don't get me wrong.. i'm strong bumping positive unification from an incredibly egotistical biased position... but i see the illusion within it.. so I act in various realities simultaneously.. its totally basic... i'm just a basic B... no-thing.. chilling.. appreciate you.. thanks for sharing..
  19. @John Iverson Blessing braddha man.. Journey strong..
  20. @iamme hey there.. Can you stop hate by hating hate? When negativity is being bashed, up, down, sideways and back with a club of positivism it is hard to achieve the desired goal. Here is a story that starts to reach in the direction that I connect with: https://excellentjourney.net/2014/12/19/joseph-campbells-samurai-tale/ I could say that "negative" and "positive" can be known from a place where "negative" becomes "positive" and "positive" becomes "negative" and suddenly everything becomes everything and a return to our lives happens with a fresh perspective... Blessings, journey strong..
  21. @Serotoninluv In yourself I would imagine... It is a Michigan thing! Blessings..
  22. @Serotoninluv Communication is undoubtedly an interesting mix of variables. I see that you are taking more of a meta approach to my question and converting it into an analysis of aversion and attachment, totally cool but not my question. I appreciate what you conveyed and it resonates. I imagine it is challenging as a moderator shifting gears from delivering "answers" to having dialogue of more "lower" level. Like my interest in if a question is consistent and leaving it at that instead of going Meta on it.. Total respect, I get it.. You are attempting to educate, elucidate, respect.. You need to be you and I myself. Sometimes it takes a few exchanges to find clarity, i don't have a problem with that. I hope you don't mind being questioned to refine what is being conveyed. Like if what I was asking wasn't being answered in the answer or is that an attack on you somehow? I find we all have a personal edge to our energetic orientation that can create conflict? If, we allow ourselves to feel conflicted of course.....
  23. @Maximus question.. about the "how there was not any help for the issues I was having that I was detached from." Can you dig into that one a little more for me, expand on it? Example maybe... Thanks.
  24. @Nahm give @Javfly33 a little help in understanding how often you are free of thoughts.. the ones that he should be "letting go" of.. I'm curious myself as to how often you would say you are "thoughtless"? Peace, Love, Respect. We all in this together..
  25. @Serotoninluv Thanks for the break down and.. my question was about this forum and the degree of presence the question has. Is it often you see this question, to what degree, as someone who is both a moderator and very active within the forum I am guessing you have good insight? You say it is one of the most common fundamental human questions. Maybe I am supposed to infer from this statement that it is present in the forum but I prefer not to assume that is what you meant. Thanks in advance!
