@Verdesbird Leo is an incredibly holistic teacher compared to pretty much anyone out there. I too wish the forum supported more occult-type discussion, but it is a risk for the community in some ways. People into occult stuff can come with more questionable morals in some cases and often are easily deluded. He doesn’t at all say these things aren’t real though. He links his teachings to many old masters, Ramana Maharshi is one example he seems quite fond of. He’s talked quite a bit about the possibility of superhuman abilities. It appears he’s only accessed these, for the most part, in psychedelic trips which are essentially occurring on a mental/spiritual plane. He doesn’t claim to have any mastery over superhuman abilities in any measurable/more material way, so it’s rather expected for him to not teach something he doesn’t know how to do for himself. He even did speak about the possibility of healing at one point, but I believe it turned out to be even more difficult than he expected at that time. A distrust for Leo is a bad call IMO even though I have started learning mostly from other sources for now and leaning in other directions. There is still a wealth of high-quality teachings to be considered from Actualized.org. If it doesn’t resonate now, no worries! Do what you’re drawn to. I’m sure you’ll find it again if the time is right. -

Look into dependent origination. You can’t even really call something “blue” without pulling the entire Universe into it. There is certainly a difference in appearance between blue and red, but difference, red, blue, appearance, oneness, and all of these other things are just fabrications. The important point to get isn’t that blue somehow is perceived exactly like red in some trippy mindfuck, even though I’m sure that has some usefulness. It’s to see the fabrications fall away completely and only see the raw sensations without any layering from a worldview or human perspective. There are MANY degrees to this, and I’d be careful to think you’ve seen that bedazzling spectacle too early on. -

Have you reached cessation yet? It adds a whole new dimension to this inquiry. -

Leo was the KGB’s highest creation in a last ditch effort to destroy capitalism in an undercover way that the West would not detect until it was too late. Of course the previous sentence contains 0% trans fat, non-GMO, anti-satire to the highest degree of seriousness. On the topic of 5-MeO use, you might want to expand yourself a bit more with other psychedelics first, especially since you mention trauma and other such things. There are plenty of people I see here who jump straight to 5-MeO without much issue, so maybe that step is too cautious. You won’t really know until you’ve already tried it. There are certainly great benefits which come from psychedelics which you will struggle to find elsewhere, especially without likely many more hours of spiritual work than the simple act of taking the psychedelic with serious intentions requires. It’s really as simple as: do you want to take the most effective “short cut” there is for spiritual benefits or do it in a more gradual and possibly less risky way? It will most likely speed things up by a number of years when it comes to spiritual progress. If spirituality isn’t your #1 goal right now, ask yourself if you’re ready for it to become #1 without much choice in stopping that process. Have you made enough progress in normal life and want more out of it that non-spiritual approaches are not fulfilling? Do you just need to know the Truth at deeper levels and that desire will not be quenched until an answer is reached? These are all just things to consider. There’s of course plenty more that could be considered. Most succinctly and importantly: follow your intuition & heart. It’ll probably give you a better answer than intellectualizing the decision too much. It sounds like you might have some authentic reasons to hold off a bit longer for yourself. There’s ultimately no need to rush. The Truth will always be the Truth. -

Just don’t be a dick with how you interact with people, provide well thought out questions and responses, and be open to the possibility that you’re wrong. If you do those things, I’m pretty confident the mods and Leo will have no issue with you. -

I remember when I posted something of occult nature which I immediately got warning points for. Kind of funny. Stuff of that nature can be very beneficial to living a more effective and compassionate spiritual life if used correctly. Sadly it’s not even worth trying to explain my experiences with things of that nature here as people are not open enough. Also tons of the details of my shadow work would simply be seen as too controversial if I were to share them here. But these things are not to really be blamed on Leo or individuals here but rather brainwashing from our culture in general. -
His teachings align very well with my direct experience. My stream entry was on May 28, 2021. Now I’m “stuck” (even though pretty much all of my life is “dope as fuck zero gravity & boundless space/consciousness - lol”) looking for that tiny remaining speck of solidity. You can hit shit stronger than at least many psychedelic experiences like 5 grams of shrooms or 10 tabs of LSD fully sober if you follow this stuff. Just trying to help out. Not starting a psychedelic vs. meditation war. I actually used psychedelics much more than meditation to hit stream entry and used them to lock in higher Realization often after stream entry. I see combination better than a one vs. the other idea. Anyway, here’s the video: I highly recommend all of his content in recent 1-2 years.

Yes embodiment is important, but embodiment is not an erasure of personality. Being a placid monk is not necessarily embodiment. He spends a good amount of time teaching when he could do so many other things. Maybe he’s not “fully embodied” from certain perspectives, but I think it’s hard to even know where he is in regards to this without being fully awake and meeting him in person. It’s just a guessing game with the info we have IMO. Sila (roughly translated to morality) is said to never have a cap, so in that regard, there is no full enlightenment if you’re considering that part of enlightenment. When he says enlightenment, he’s referring to the insight/wisdom (this is not referring to commonplace human wisdom btw) part of the equation. Certainly there are people more advanced than him in regards to sila. -

Because this game will kick your ass. I’ve had intense awakenings while driving or in public situations which made me fearless with huge consequences. You can overcome suffering, but overcoming pain is a whole different ball game. -

Of course. I’m just being difficult for fun, but there are some useful nuggets in my jest. -
BipolarGrowth replied to Terell Kirby's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Then how can you say it’s there or differentiate it from the “ game”? The appearance of a player is certainly there, at least at the beginning. Are you certain you have more agency when it comes to typing a response compared to a dog wagging it’s tail? Or is the appearance of agency just another dog wagging its tail, just in a clever disguise? -

Yeah the 360 degree bubble is a hard thing to describe or understand. It seems to me that after the bubble pops you are not limited to being a bubble. Focus can go to anything/any configuration and still be unlimited. At least that’s my experience, but maybe I’m not at that stage he is talking about. Quite hard to tell as it’s all limited by language. -

Untangling perception to the extent where you’re always both dead and alive simultaneously. Dissolving the solidity of the separate self 100% (quite hard to do). Love. Absolute nondoership. Completely collapsed into the present moment with no ability to escape. Full access to both the infinite/Divine and the mundane at all times. But second best described as ___________. Best described as . -

@Psych2Awak3n I treat it mainly as spiritual social media. That perspective may be of value to you. Doing the work yourself is #1. -
BipolarGrowth replied to BipolarGrowth's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It was maybe a moderately high priority goal for 7-8 years with the last 3 years being much more serious with it being my #1 goal at that time. I built my own (with a business partner) real estate investing company 4 years ago when personal finance and financial independence was my main goal. Before that relationships were #1 from age 18-22 so 7-8 years ago to 4 years ago. Psychedelics made me go stage green and back to relationships and spirituality. -
Just thought I’d make a more positivity-focused video today for anyone feeling discouraged on the path. I believe in you ❤️???

I was going to link a Frank Yang video as well. He’s a great source for vipassana related stuff. Also check out this book. https://www.mctb.org/mctb2/table-of-contents/part-v-awakening/37-models-of-the-stages-of-awakening/a-revised-four-path-model/ -

This was made 7 years ago, a good bit before I ever found Leo. But I even made a thread joking that I was the #1 Leo copycat. You can look it up lol. The goal has always been just to share what I’ve learned, my various philosophies, and try to help others in the process. It used to be focused a lot more on bipolar disorder before I discovered more advanced spirituality and my focus changed. -

Psychedelics do have a cumulative effect of raising baseline consciousness. It’s just much less pronounced than many other methods in my direct experience and what I’ve heard from others. Leo has certainly hit more or less permanent shifts in how his brain processes psychedelics from so many trips. Why I think THC has been so effective for me is natural gifted genes (mainly from bipolar disorder) + lots of spiritual work to activate the higher capacities of THC (others with strong serotonergic trips report similar things) + USING THC VERY OFTEN ONCE I REACHED ITS HIGHER CAPACITIES. The reason, or a main reason, I think psychedelics struggle to affect baseline consciousness as much as other methods is that people simply do not spend as many hours under the influence of psychedelics while this is happening in the context of serious spiritual work. I could use THC pretty much 24/7 at many points this year at this level of heightened spiritual effectiveness, and this basically put me in a unique position to be flying along at crazy levels of consciousness for essentially months on end. Daniel Ingram once said in an interview that psychedelic trips aren’t growing dendrites due to the limited time they’re affecting someone’s brain consistently compared to meditation. It is pretty difficult to live a normal life on serotonergic psychedelics. If you can unlock THC in this way of heightened effectiveness, it can synergize with normal life allowing you to create a snowball effect on your neurochemistry. The consistent use is key IMO. Maybe other compounds out there can do this too, but I don’t see any better alternatives right now. THC also affects the whole body with cannabinoid receptors all over the place. I think this works incredibly well with chakras and kundalini energy which was actually one of my main focuses this year both before and slightly after hitting stream entry. Regardless, from both my direct experience and reports of many others, nothing impacts baseline consciousness in such a crazy snowball effect like hitting stream entry. I don’t know much about the ganja yoga, but it sounds like I’ve been doing it at least partially. I mostly combined Bhakti yoga with the THC as a practice rather than any Hatha yoga, and it was unbelievably effective for me. The strongest manipulation of spacetime reality came while I was connected with a specific deity while in a bipolar manic episode and “delusional” by many people's evaluations if I were to explain the story. Absolutely reckless levels of faith in one’s beliefs and taking every minute sign in reality as a sign from the Divine resulted in me “teleporting” (although it’s not like I entered a portal knowingly or something, hard to describe — more like some odd warping of spacetime) maybe roughly 250 miles in THIS reality. I didn’t know how to control this or how it occurred. Just sharing it with you as I know you’re really curious about such things. It seems as if you really have to break ALL fear and doubts completely to access such a thing. I had objects teleport as well around this period in my life such as an item being left at a friend’s house maybe 150-200 miles away then ending up in my house as soon as I arrived home. As your “frequency” as they say rises, the chance for such supernatural things to occur in actual reality rather than just some psychedelic mental realm seems to increase. How you reach such a frequency is a mostly individual journey, and be prepared for it to possibly ruin many other more practical and normal things in your life. It certainly appears there are prices to pay, at least from my direct experience. Also, a last note on the THC use, most people run into tolerance very quickly on THC. Whenever I would start to hit tolerance increases, it seems like I got what I call a “Divine upgrade” where THC became more effective than even before the tolerance started to kick in. A lot of that process does not just seem to be a neurochemical progression but also affected heavily by Divine Grace. Frank Yang says that to reach full enlightenment there’s ultimately no way to even do something to get there. It just does itself. Even all of your spiritual strivings fall in this category, but you most likely have not realized nondoership to the degree to fully comprehend how this occurs in your direct experience. It’s neither free will nor determinism. Some type of odd automated process in which the free will itself was just created and operates by the conditions of Existence. It sounds like something you can grasp with the mind, but I assure you that living in that space with it locked in is completely different. As different as intellectually hearing about God Consciousness and it being present 24/7. Hope this cleared things up.
