@Max_V not at all honestly. It’s probably due to my genetics. I know a lot of people would have a much harder time being this lean. My energy levels and everything is actually far better than when I was at a higher body fat % and not training and having a better diet. @MarkKol Here’s an example of what I ate today. The quick add you see on dinner is about 12 ounces of round steak. It wouldn’t let me scan the barcode, so I had to enter it manually. Frank currently has me on 210g protein, 365g carbs, and 80g fat on training days.

So I’m going to just show three week differences from when I started until now. You’re right in the sense that someone doing 100% optimal training and diet for years will not see huge differences in three week increments, but this is pretty beside the point. I highly doubt those parameters apply to almost anyone here if anyone at all. Also, when it comes to losing fat, this can easily happen to a noticeable degree in three weeks even if someone has been training for years.

Rather than thinking about solipsism, the insight of “only this” or “just this” referring to what is present in that nanosecond only basically covers any beneficial things you’d get out of a solipsistic perspective without adding unnecessary elements. -
@Rainy Sparkle great job. It sounds like you’re doing a good job to develop better habits. This will make a huge difference as time goes on.

I woke up today and started cooking my favorite breakfast. 1/2 cup steel cut oats, 1 tablespoon of raw honey, dash of cinnamon powder, 2 tablespoons of powdered peanut butter (1/4 the calories, very similar taste as normal peanut butter), and 1.5 scoops of chocolate whey protein (actually makes this taste twice as good). I also ate a large banana, Greek yogurt, and low calorie keto bread with some toppings (16g of dietary fiber in the bread alone). I did some dishes for about 10-15 minutes while making the food. I finished the Art of War audiobook then started Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins. Listened to that for about 20 minutes while getting ready for work. I worked about 8.5 hours. I recently got promoted to a management position at my job. I was less lenient on the employees who were screwing around and wasting time which felt good. They were surprisingly compliant with my requests/orders when I stated things in a very direct manner compared to how I had been making my requests more as suggestions in the past. I’m seeing that being a leader has a lot of intricacy to it. If you allow some people to get off easy, it ends up indirectly punishing the quality workers who just end up having to do even more work. I’m going to continue to try to develop a more dominant energy when dealing with people who are slacking off to the detriment of the entire team. Now it’s about midnight, and I’m at the gym about to start my workout which will last roughly 2 hours.

Shouldn’t it be easier for the color red to know it’s red? This is bad logic. Something can be and oftentimes is unaware of what it is or how it works. I’m a human being, so I should naturally know how a human being works and what that is right away. See how this doesn’t work on even just a practical level? -

@Jannes currently it’s mostly vipassana or stuff aligned with that. I’ve done a lot of different types of meditation, psychedelics, magick, and other fringe stuff you rarely ever see people talk about.

I am happy thanks to eight years of spiritual development and practice. It’s kind of shocking to think of what life was like for me before. The only negative states that I inhabit anymore are the ones that I choose to let run. The odd thing is that I have no control over this process because I myself am just happing on a sort of non-doership autopilot which strangely results in more energy and action than when I perceived (not just thought) that there was a concrete individual capable of making a choice.

It’s appears that the counter-intuitive nature of Actualized.org not only occurs within the teachings but also the usability of the products. I purchased the book list some time ago and cannot access it. I’m on an iPhone using the Safari browser. If someone could give me a hint on how to get to the list, I’d greatly appreciate it.

@Questioner there is no individual controlling your body. There is an appearance of an individual controlling the body which apparently has not been seen through yet. -

Just made you say that. I already proved it ? -
@Yali it certainly is.

I am controlling your body. You just don’t know what I am. No one here is claiming that their ego is God in the sense you are talking about. -
@thisintegrated when did I say that I was seeking it? I just said that recognition had occurred.
-
@thisintegrated you make some very good points here. The point of this thread was just to promote the benefits of an area I think a lot of people here have probably started neglecting due to the nature of spiritual work. The main benefits of the switch I made have been higher levels of energy, more emotional stability, greatly improved circadian rhythm, rather effortless alignment with a far healthier diet, more confidence, and better life results in pretty much every area. I can go on my Facebook and share a rare and potentially infinitely valuable insight, and no one will care or notice. It will quickly get hidden by the algorithm. No one who is not on the path of spiritual development for 5+ years to a rather rigorous degree has a chance of even sensing my development in those immaterial areas, but when I became better looking, I immediately received an exponential increase in attention and respect from normal people. The truth is that most people cannot tell much beyond the unavoidable forms in front of their eyes. @Something Funny thanks! I’m 26

@KH2 I agree that it is more of a feminine energy pursuit IF it’s only for looks. When you add in an element of achieving strength goals, developing proficiency in a discipline, pushing yourself to your limits and far past comfort, etc. it becomes more neutral or even masculine overall.
-
@Max_V for sure. I want to be aesthetic for myself more than anything else. Looking at a piece of shit physical form in the mirror is not as fun or enlivening as looking at a shredded motherfucker staring back at you.

I’m checking this out now. Thanks for sharing.

@Emrie proud of your initiative! Good job ?

@KH2 it looks like it is just available on web browser.

This is spot on although it can read a bit harsh to someone more in the Being/feminine mode. The truth is that people oftentimes swap their attachment to material success for aversion to material success with the justification that spiritual success is a higher goal. Yes, of course, spirituality is in a certain sense higher, but we cannot and must not lie to ourselves about our authentic desires. We must pursue that which is most meaningful, and this necessarily includes development in many areas for pretty much everyone. There may be monks out there truly suited to only go into that path, but thinking you are one of those people is a trap 99.9%+ of the time. This is ACTUALIZED.org. Not SPIRITUALIZED.org.
-
It definitely helps in many areas, but I don’t regret focusing on spirituality and other areas for several years. It feels good to level up this area now that I’m satisfied with my spiritual progress thus far.
