  1. @Loba @Gesundheit2 He's clearly had an awakening experience. There's been a shift in his perspective, and his new perspective is valid, as many here are attesting to. An 'awakening' can be as simple as a shift in perspective.. for instance.. when children are young, they may know how to add and subtract, but not multiply.. they haven't 'awakened' (awoken?) to the concept of 'multiplication' yet.. but once they do, it's an obvious and undeniable understanding of the concept. Those who have yet to understand 'multiplication' may have difficulty grasping it at first.. they may think someone talking about it is just talking crazy talk. Furthermore, awakening to 'multiplication' doesn't make 'addition' wrong... addition is still valid. This is why @Someone here can still seek out love, and do his job, or continue any 'ordinary' goings on. Discovering that you are everything doesn't cause you to stop being what you are being. "Before enlightenment, chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment, chop wood, carry water." - Zen Proverb
  2. @vizual what shape is a dream? How big is a dream? What are it's limits? Where are dreams? How much do they weigh? What 'form' does a dream have?
  3. @Breakingthewall consider it like this.. is this forum 'just your imagination' or 'does it objectively exist beyond your awareness of it'?? Can you tell ANY difference between those two options??? If you can't tell the difference, then it doesn't matter which it is. There ARE many other perspectives, as long as it seems that way (is how it's imagined to be) to you.
  4. @Someone here getting trapped by language.. the word 'exist' is what's confusing, because it implies duality. Dualists need there to be separation between 'the dreamer' and 'the dream'.. some 'perspective' for whom 'formlessness or form' can 'exist' (be separate from).
  5. @Breakingthewall 'your mind is all there is' and 'God's mind is all there is' are the same sentence. What is the difference between 'my hand's fingers' and 'my body's fingers'? Absolutely the same fingers. There is no 'your mind' that isn't 'God's mind'.
  6. @Ananta this is why people make the distinction between solipsism (mind + the imagination of mind) and Absolute Solipsism (only mind).
  7. @Ananta Solipsism is the idea that 'my own experience is all I can know to be true'.. or something like that. There is no 'my experience'. There is only Infinite Everythingness/Nothingness appearing as Finite Somethingness. As long as it 'seems like Something is happening rather than Nothing/Everything' then this is the case.
  8. @Ananta well.. in this context it kinda does. There really is no such thing as 'sameness' (it makes no sense to say 'this is the same as that), unless you just mean that reality 'is itself'.
  9. @Ananta language has it's limits.. there is no 'God who has a mind', per se. God is 'infinite mind', which is what everything is, which is what you are.. no separation. Not a 'dreamer' in addition to 'the dream'.. only the dream pretending it's 'separate from' itself in order to 'perceive' itself.. to 'know' itself.. to 'be' like anything at all. Consider.. how big is a coffee cup? Like, what size is it? Big, small? How can you say without comparing it to something else? A coffee cup is Big compared to an ant, and tiny compared with the moon.. Size is an imaginary distinction, brought into existence by imagining separation between 'big' and 'small'.. but these distinctions are only imaginary. Arbitrary. Relative. You can't have 'size' without creating separation between 'big' and 'small'.. YOU (reality) can't 'seem like anything' without creating imaginary separation between 'you' and 'that which is not you'.
  10. This is not a contradiction. Reality is infinite, and infinite reality is the only thing there is.. and you're that pretending not to be. That's how you seem like Something separate from 'the rest of reality' (rather than Everything/Nothing/Infinity which doesn't seem like anything).. it's trick reality plays on itself to know itself.
  11. ^the only thing I would change about this understanding is that there isn't even a distinction between 'you' and 'what you are imagining'.. those are the same thing. There is really just 'Imaginary Everything' and that's what you ARE.. All of Reality isn't something 'you are imagining' as much as it is 'what you are'.
  12. 'No Self' awakening is also the same as awakening to Solipsism.. There is only 'all of it'. The 'separate you' disappears such that 'you' are equal to 'that which is not you'.. no difference.
  13. @Someone here some of the confusion many are having in understanding what you now (perhaps) understand might be cleared up by understanding non-dual vs dual perspectives of 'the nature of reality'. There's 1 thing and Everything is it.. You and I 'not two things'.. Awakening to 'Solipsism' and having a 'Non-dual' awakening are the same thing.
  14. @Purple Man this is one that many struggle with.. it's an absolutely valid question. "Though it seems that I know that I know.. what I'd like to see, is the I who knows me, when I know that I know that I know." - Alan Watts (paraphrased) The 'illusion' than many refer to that deals with this, is the 'illusion of separation'.. Within Infinity (the shape of reality), there is the possibility (since there are infinite possibilities) that Reality pretends to be separate from itself so that it can know itself (perceive itself). It's all a trick of One Infinite Nothingness seeming like many finite somethings.
  15. @machiavelli do you have evidence for anything existing beyond your experience of it? Where does the evidence exist other than your experience of it?
  16. @AndylizedAAY consider... if you were lost in a dream.. for that 'dream you' to 'wake up' would be the complete destruction of the 'you' who wants to 'awaken'.. you ready for that?
  17. If I am God, alone.. and there is 'what I imagine' also.. then I am not alone.. there is 'me' and 'that which is not me'. ^this is how God works. It pretends to be separate from itself so it can seem like something.
  18. @Inliytened1 of course I'm mistaken (an illusion, a dream, pretend, dreaming, not awake).. I have to pretend not to be what I really am so I can seem like anything at all.
  19. There is no 'God who Imagines Reality into being'. This is duality.. a God separate from 'that which God imagines'. God literally IS the exact same thing as 'Imaginary Infinity Seeming like Finite Reality'... which is also what you are (seem to be), only you've forgotten.
  20. Same exact thing. Being and Seeming to Be are not 'two different things'
