I listened to the audiobook of this several years ago. I found it a fascinating autobiography of Jung, particularly because I found it rather unlike any other I'd read. To me it told the story of Jung's life via reflecting intensely on his inner life, i.e. the prevalence and meaning of his dreams.

Hey! My recommendation would be to watch this video: I think it could likely help you get a better understanding of where you are at.

@Abhishaik I'd go back to your old role.

@Julian gabriel I'd consider looking into your childhood, especially the relational dynamics with your parents. Alice Miller's the Drama of the gifted child could be a useful start. If you want a reading list recommendation I can link that for you too. Just ask and I'll link it for you.

Ulax replied to Julian gabriel's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Julian gabriel I agree with your interpretation. I think meditation in that context will bring up a variety of fears that wouldn't be so present in a typical meditation environment. And so meditating in that context gives you an opportunity to process and change your relationship to those fears, imo. -
@Realms of Wonder I think there are numerous possibilities. However, to my mind, the distraction will be meeting some need or needs of yours. Maybe note down the thoughts that come up when you are distracting yourself, or get the desire to distract yourself.

@Raze I think it should only be an option if someone is in a chronic place of deep suffering with little chance of a cure, i.e. someone's face gets ripped off in a car crash and they have no ability to speak or see. Otherwise, loads of folks with curable mental health issues are going to off themselves imo. Any logical reason given is really just a sign of the person's level of consciousness, and most of the time people can elevate their level of consciousness.

@kylan11 Intriguing. Any sites you'd recommend for getting a job out of it? Also, any recommendations re where to learn python/ Java?

I think you're acting like a fool with this sort of thing. Go compete in MMA or amateur boxing if you really want to do this sort of thing, or even some organised bare knuckle boxing.

I think Terry showed some healthy behaviours. Whilst I don't think it would be wrong for someone to respond aggressively to a sexual assault, its not really the straightforward option in Terry's position imo. You gonna have a lawsuit on your hands most likely if your terry and you get aggressive, and the other dude can just deny the sexual assault happened. Not really surprised by 50 tho, i mean he's a hood dude at heart so i can understand his harsh response. He seems like a bit of a narcissist tho.

I think absurdism is a great place to get to with one's intellectual position. However, I think the important next step is to get into inner work and raising one's level of baseline emotional vibration.
