@Someone here Great! -
In the sense of men just not being interested in dating or having relationships with women at this period of their life? Also, women with regards to men?
-
I second the Manuel Smith suggestion. Also, to my understanding, what you need to work with are the emotions of anger and shame. I think this is where a lot of assertiveness training falls short, if you don't work with the underlying feelings of shame around worthiness to set boundaries, and get in touch with healthy anger which can show you, imo, where your boundaries are then boundary setting will continue to be an issue.

@Someone here I respect the hell out of that man. Think that is some core confidence right there.
-
@Someone here Ye dude, I think, generally, as long as someone's not being abusive, then they can whatever the fuck they want to do.
-
Thank you @Leo Gura. Some of these aspiring Regina George's need to be sorted out.
-
Daaaang dude congrats! Ngl the geting fucked in the ass surprised me especially as it was your first time. I think its cool that you're seemingly not ashamed of doing that sort of thing and just embracing your preferences.

@Gabith Hey dude, I felt saddened when I read your post. It sounds to me like you're feeling pretty discouraged and hopeless atm. Is that right? From what I've seen of you from your posts, imo you have a lot of things going for you and personally I value your presence on this forum and on this planet. My opinion on why you should live is that you have all of eternity to be dead. Maybe you've had lots of stuff in your life not go so well or even go really really wrong, or just everything seems to suck or something else. Some of which I might relate to, some which I expect I wouldn't be able too. But imo if you have all of eternity to be dead why not just stick around and see how this turns out. Perhaps just consider experimenting with various different things that you haven't tried before. For example, imo, you could try reading Dodson's book on levels of energy, or david Hawkin's work, or trying a form of therapy you haven't done before, or volunteering. Maybe you eventually find something that makes life worth living to you, maybe you don't. But imo why not stick around and try out a tonne of different things, and see if something clicks.

@StarStruck I think I see your points. I think there is validity to them and avenues that OP could explore. I think Dodson recommends what you’re saying too. If my memory is correct then Dodson does recommend love, as in, to my understanding, receiving love is an effective means of moving out of apathy. To my mind, Dodson is an expert within the field of levels of energy so I try to humble myself to his opinion whilst I remain, to my mind, a novice in this area. Even when I don’t quite understand why he recommends certain courses of action exactly yet myself
-
I agree with the working with the idea of levels of energy. id recommend reading Frederick Dodson’s first book about levels of energy. to my recollection, love is what Dodson recommends for getting out of apathy. Maybe loving kindness meditation could be of help

@Ghzem What you been doing so far?
-
@Consept I agree
-
@LordFall I agree. And I have now repented for my sins
-
@something_else I have repented sire

@thepixelmonk I still disagree with you on an abstract level. But I think i get part of the point your making. I think it would be a bit irresponsible to identify as MGTOW because most would assume I'm part of a certain ideology. I'll be UDHOT (Ulax doing his own thing) from now on.
-
@thepixelmonk Damn I feel guilty now. I meant my reply more in the sense that any definition someone creates is essentially an arbitrary definition one has created. Tho I'm of the opinion that different definitions have different level of consciousness. So, you, to my mind, would be in the rabbit hole of taking arbitrary definitions as objectively true definitions. That was my intended point.
-
@thepixelmonk No you are the one in the rabbit hole
-
@thepixelmonk Nope. But that definition is just someone's definition, I see it differently. I could write a definition of pixel monk that saw that phrase as misogynist and then ask you the same question.
-
Lmao I meant to tag @KH2 in the hook up question. My mistake. @LordFall Well I think notions of right and wrong are entirely arbitrary, and you made the claim that something was wrong. So it follows that your claim of wrongness is arbitrary. But actually I think I agree with your analogy somewhat on second thoughts.

@StarStruck Sick dude
-
@StarStruck For me, Manchester by the Sea. I imagine the boy in the striped Pyjamas could do it too.
-
@something_else Agreed
-
@LordFall I disagree with your first two sentences.
-
@LordFall Damn never realised I was gay. Wanna hook up bro?
-
@something_else I like being part of a group. @LordFall Fairs. I call it MGTOW
