  1. @Hardkill Sounds like you've done some good work in the dating arena so far. Although, I see no mention of inner work, I'd look into that
  2. @evgn I think in about 20 year or so we'll see a real push back against bodyshaming men. We just live in less progressive times imo. But such is the nature of progress
  3. @LoneWonderer Imo, life experiences, circumstances and genetics bring people here. If i didn't have a laptop i wouldnt be here. If i hadn't been into RSD i wouldn't be here. Lots of different factors i think. I guess a certain pen mindedness is essential.
  4. Nice to meet you too dude . happy holidays!
  5. @StarStruck Sorry to hear this happened to you dude. Maybe you could reframe this as a shit test from reality.
  6. Hottest take of 2022 right here lmao
  7. @digitalkaine I had a further think on this discussion. I've thought about the importance of class in these discussions. Which class would you say you're in btw? I.e. lower middle, working etc. I've just been thinking about the potential importance of this. I'd say I grew up lower middle in my country, and I think that'll effect the importance of a figure like Tate compared to someone like who grew up working class. For example, more financial safety nets meaning having to hustle was less necessary or less stressful.
  8. @Twentyfirst I think you make some valid points. I think the rise of Tate can be seen in a similar way to the rise of Trump. You have a particular demographic of the English speaking west which has been left behind and disenfranchised in many ways by present culture: White working class men. And figures like Trump and Tate appeal strongly to these folks. Imo, masculine ideal has been vilified in recent years. The replacement, imo, is embodied in the 'toxic masculinity' movement, i.e. get more in touch with feelings, see women as equals, go to therapy. This move, imo, suffers from a lot of the same faults as first and second wave feminism in that it lacks intersectionality. By that I mean that it doesn't account for how someone's experience of being a man differs according to different factors, i.e. class, immigrant status, skin colour. So, if a guy is middle class, his experience of being a guy is going to be very different than a working class guy. The former can afford to go to therapy for example. Also, there is more likely to be an acceptance and encouragement of therapy. Plus the middle class guy has more opportunities to engage in more fulfilling work due to meet their needs that would have otherwise been met by striving for the masculine ideal. So, the white male working class have a loss of an ideal, and a replacement that is essentially classist and non-realistic, and hence have nowhere to go. Tate simply fills that vacuum imo. I think it parallels the faults with first and second wave feminism, which, to my mind, neglected the importance of things like class and race on women's experiences of being women. So, hopefully we'd be able to see a new wave of 'toxic masculinity' movement. Preferably which took into account things like class, race, attractiveness etc. and had folks with lived experiences leading the movement, i.e. white working class guys. I'd be curious to hear thoughts on this.
  9. @digitalkaine I guess we simply have a difference of opinion. I think there are much smarter ways to get the benefits that you get from some of Tate's work, i.e. shadow work, depth psychotherapy. And you don't get all the risks that I think come with consuming Tate's content.
  10. @digitalkaine Thing is I would often rather have repeated exposure to leo vids that general TV. Leo's work is generally a higher level of consciousness, so I wouldn't be pulled down as much. Leo isnt recommending relationships where you treat your wife as your property.
  11. @at_anchor I guess if you went very spiritual then yes. But for the 99% i think there would be regret. On another note, something you could think about is your relationship to regret. If you seek to avoid it, then fear of regret, to my mind, controls you. You live your life to avoid a feeling. Why not also work to love and accept regret?
  12. @digitalkaine Leo has numerous videos on the subject of managing the influences you let in to your life. He has a whole video about not watching TV. I'm not sure how I would elaborate on my statement right now.
  13. @digitalkaine Imo, no matter your intentions, his less conscious points will still somewhat sink into your psyche. I see a few guys saying the same thing on the forum about picking out the good parts and ignoring the bad regarding tate. However, imo, unconsciously the 'bad' points will still make an impact on the psyche, particularly if there is repeated exposure.
  14. Happy NY Can't believe it 2023, god damn.
  15. @Socrates I think a lot of these folks have psychological wounds/ vulnerabilities that a charimatic leader figure like tate hits the spot with. I have to manage myself around tate sort figures because of my psychological vulnerabilities. there is a part of my mind that will rationalise anything tate says into a positive light. And ive done years of inner work, university educated and am an avid follower of actualized content.
  16. @AndylizedAAY Bruddah you can use discords, just not recruits folks from here.
  17. @LordFall I disagree. Valuetainment didn't bring him on their platform in an impartial manner imo. They clearly supported and backed Tate's character. They showed very poor character judgment in doing so imo.
  18. @kamwalker I get the suspicion, but I think you underestimate how foolish people can be. But ye there are fools on both sides, people will always jump to conclusions. Remember the dumbasses at school who thought they knew everything but were thoroughly deluded by their own stupidity. Those people have youtube and twitter accounts. The dude, tate, literally put on his website's sale copy a story about how he used to groom women for cam work. Some people think there is a god in the clouds listening to their mutterings. Some people think there are alien paedophiles in the white house. The world is full of fools, and smart sounding ones as well.
  19. @Butters Honestly it can sound a bit doomerish but its not imo. Essentially whatever will happen is whatever will happen. We really have no control of how quickly consciousness rises. We just have to wait and see if the forces of nature/ reality transpire to have us overcome things like climate change. However, aside from catastrophes like that, mankind, unless its development gets blocked or regresses due to catastrophe will continue to get higher and higher consciousnesses. I see reality as playing out like a play or a movie, we can hope for a certain outcome, but what will be, will be. Even if we do something to alter events, that was always going to happen because we do not control the ego. And we simply are playing out our survival agenda that we cannot control. I think we can increase consciousness using tech, but it would have to be designed by someone of high consciousness and also have various high consciousness backers. A stage yellow technology person could do this i.e. But a stage orange person isn't gonna give a fuck about raising consciousness unless it suits his bottom line. I'm not sure if that answers your questions. but its my attempt.
  20. @kamwalker Why would hitler gas the jews? People do all sorts of crazy, seemingly non sensical things.
  21. @Romanov Imagine someone tried to convince you that your family are a bunch of serial killers. I imagine, hopefully, that is something you are totally sure isn't true. That level of confidence is the same level of confidence many of these christians have in their beliefs imo.
  22. @Butters High consciousness politics. Technological improvements will be v useful but the ego mind will manipulate them to its present level of consciousness. As long as societies are tier 1 (spiral dynamics speaking) there will be a lot of suffering.
  23. @spiritual memes Such brain rot. Also what an embarrassment for channels like valuetainment if indeed the trafficking allegations are legit.
