@spiritual memes I agree with you on 'I'm more awakened than you' rhetoric. I don't really like it either, and find it frustrating and irritating/ cringe. Regarding the tone, I actually quite like the tone. I think when done well its raw, gritty, provocative and cuts through to listeners. Also, this type of tone reminds me of a lot of RSD instructors, and I think its very effective at resonating with people who feel disenfranchised. I think lighter, more friendly communications style don't really get through as well to those sorts of folks imo.

@Leo Gura Ye dude I've noticed you put out warnings quite frequently. This youtube dude is the equivalent of a tabloid newspaper imo. I agree with the comments he makes about being kind of heartless in some of the comments towards the suicidal people but not the rest of the vid.

@spiritual memes I get what you're saying dude but I think that the way Leo teaches is very valuable as it is. His present style will inevitably push away a lot of folks but I think also changing the style would also push away a lot of folks.

@UpperMaster I'd get them to do shadow work first. If you look into the work of psychotherapists like Otto Kernberg and Frank Yeomans it is possible. I just imagine it must be a massive ball ache to try and do. If he has NPD, which I think is certainly a possibility, the issue is that the NPD psyche maintains a grandiose narrative as a defence mechanism against underlying feelings of pervasive shame. Kerneberg argues that this underlying psychic structure resembles BPD. Therapy requires unwiring this narrative and exposing the conscious mind to this underlying structure, which the psyche will greatly resist. The NPD mind functions very differently from the healthy mind, as it is very developmentally stunted.

@mr_engineer Dude remember this is just one person's/ group's view of things. Various 'sjw' groups will disagree with each other. And some will likely come across as much more reasonable to you than others. Here's a discussion you may find more reasonable:

@onacloudynight I empathise with your desire dude. I think the conscious thing to do is to be above board with this, and talk to her authentically about this and make suggestions. It might just be that she is not emotionally mature enough to leave a seemingly unhealthy dynamic with her father at present. And if that dynamic is a deal breaker for you, then you guys aren't compatible atm imo.

@trenton Imo, there are unreasonable people on all sides of the political spectrum. There are some very reasonable woke style people out there too. Its its healthier variety, 'woke' is just about treating all groups with a baseline level of human decency, which requires making sure that society and culture is arranged to not just cater for dominant groups but also traditionally marginalised groups, i.e. blacks, transgenders.
