  1. Imo, you need to weigh up the potential risk vs. potential rewards of taking them. I hear some troubling stories about people who've taken them. However, personally they completely changed my life for the better. Imo, it was just lucky that i have the brain chemistry that reacted well to that particular drug. I only took them as a last resort, when i was close to suicide. I held off on taking them for years.
  2. Sounds great dude, right on
  3. This doesn't stop making me laugh each time I see it lmao
  4. You can still find fulfillment in relationships if you're emotionally healthy and so is your partner imo. Its not enlightenment or misery
  5. Probs depends on your personality type imo. i fucking despise jogging. i need some kind of physical activity that requires engaging my mind, like a sport. But maybe someone else enjoys it for another reason.
  6. Probs worth doing some ifs parts work imo These patterns aren't happening for no reason Might be something that could help you not only get results but also be more fulfilled whilst doing so
  7. Yes. Not much from direct experience, but from readings. I hold in high regard the opinions of high level IFS therapy level practioners, and they report that, alongside the mind being made up of parts, there are also entities. These entities being either spiritual guides or unattached burdens. The former I would class as spirits. The latter I guess similar but more demonic in nature, in that these serve no purpose other than to cause suffering to the host (person) - they have no hidden positive intention. I've had some experiences of meeting what I believe to be spiritual guides but i'm not certain.
  8. Build your foundations first imo. So, I'd try and crack getting a gym, study and meditation habit going as priorities. Plus, regular socializing too. I think pickup can be detrimental to get into before you have your foundations sorted. I speak as someone who learnt that the very hard way.
  9. Hopelessness Most of them have severe cptsd imo. Having experienced a lifetime of it myself, and now seeing a more healthy side of mind, its like living in two different realities. Their hopelessness is not totally unwarranted imo. Healing from severe cptsd is no walk in the park.

  12. Whenever I find an ants nest near a tree, I do the following. Climb up the tree, angle myself towards the nest, then dive onto the nest screaming 'allah akbar', and destroy the nest.

  17. Here's my take. Take the approach that there is no failure only feedback. Keep experimenting with everything you can, and see what helps. Then keep reminnding yourself of the mastery curve and to be patient. Also, keep researching on the subject. If you do that, I think you will eventually work it out.
  18. Thank you. I also add you to my list of underrated philosophers of our time No corruption here or anything in my selection process
