  1. I’m not sure exactly. I think just general personal development. So I guess ambition from the list you provided. Im just getting back on my feet after some pretty heavy health issues which meant I couldn’t really do anything. So I’m just sort of needing to get back involved with basic self improvement (ie not improvement related to health) At the moment I’m thinking Jim Rohn.
  2. This question was asked a few years ago on here. However, I’d like to start this thread again in case there are new suggestions. Thanks in advance peeps!
  3. Whether it will make you happy or not isnt the topic of this discussion tho
  4. Sorry mate, your argument is too rational. That is not allowed here
  5. I agree. Way too much of a black and white statement. It’s a toxic comment imo
  6. @origin can do shinzen young see hear feel gone meditation technique on films 👌 (Can google “see hear feel guide shinzen young”, if interested)
  7. I like reading literature because I think it’s interesting and educational to read about other perspectives on the human experience. If you just read non fiction you lose a lot of the humanity of things imo. For example if you read war and peace you will gain a lot that simply reading a history book about the Napoleónic wars won’t touch on imo
  8. Nice bro 🎉 Imo this is your goat video though:
  9. We need to have actualized.org. Chess competition. Y’all ain’t ready for my 1200 rated Sicilian dragon strategy
  10. I would guess it would depend on how good his campaign team are.
  11. You do noting meditation whilst you eat and drink
  12. Well concentration meditation aka watching breath isn’t designed to bring spiritual insight. It’s designed to tranquilize and regulate your nervous system. It is insight/ vipassana style practices which are designed to bring you spiritual insights. These are things like Mahasi method and noting.
  13. @Leo Gura You ever experimented with Shinzens gone technique? I think you might like it
  14. @r0ckyreed doing meditation to regulate your nervous system can be reason enough imo
  15. @NightHawkBuzz Too black and white of an argument imo. School teaches kids many valuable things imo. But also leaves out various valuable things. I think a nuanced perspective is more accurate. For example, if school hadn’t taught you how to read or write you would struggle much more to access most truths you have come across independently.
  16. @ZeldaStar Why not focus on becoming good at something that aligns with your values, you are interested in and can have a positive impact and on the world? You are clearly very capable and young.
  17. Back in my late teens I got to meet Peterson and shake his hand. Was pretty awesome.
  18. I like your analogy dude
