  1. There is always that @NewKidOnTheBlock who becomes the new role model.
  2. You can't be spiritual and Trump supporter. It is antithetical. Pick one. Just don't pick Trump.
  3. Finally some sense of humor. Have you started practicing your whistles yet? Here is something to get you started:
  4. The only thing you can know for sure is that you exist. Try to use this to ground yourself. Did you have any trauma in your childhood? Depersonalization together with OCD and eating disorders is not a good combination. Try to find professional help if you can.
  5. It seems that you are stuck in a seeking mode (seeking love, approval, understanding...) while you should transition to a living mode. The seeking purpose you have created for yourself can never end, so it will never provide you with satisfaction from the end-of-seeking. You are inhabiting Earth with other human chimps. Try to be more like the other chimps. Roll in the grass, climb trees, have kids. Joy comes from the experience of these little moments.

  7. @ExploringReality It's time to get those big boy pants now and explore reality
  8. You won't believe this, but I had a preview of the course. The whole course is Leo hitting you with a stick over the head until you realize who you are. It is very effective!!! Highly recommended!!! Bonus: For an extra $200 you can bring your own stick and hit yourself over the head.
  9. There are too many thoughts above. You can't deconstruct Buddhism through thinking. You can only deconstruct it without thinking. Now try that.
  10. If you feed it, it will grow. Just make sure you don't feed it with poison.
  11. All my faces are beautiful but this is my favorite. Not sure why, might be the hair. is it real?

  13. You won't believe this, but I have an emotional attachment to this portrait from Vasily Perov. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Vasily_Perov_-_Портрет_Ф.М.Достоевского_-_Google_Art_Project.jpg Now, you may ask why such a random attachment. Is it because a lone guy is sitting in the darkness? Is it the look of Dostoevsky looking into the abyss? No and no. I am attached to this photo because Vasily only painted 9 fingers of the guy. I am wondering where the last finger went. The One must be hiding behind the others, but why? I guess I am attached to the One that you can't see.
  14. “You will have many enemies, but even your foes will love you. Life will bring you many misfortunes, but you will find your happiness in them, and will bless life and will make others bless it--which is what matters most.” ― Fyodor Dostoyevsky, The Brothers Karamazov
  15. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? - 1 John 3:17
  16. Sounds like you can do better
  17. Who is the self? Your work here is to enlarge your sense of self not only to encompass your body but everything. If your sense of self includes the neighbor, the starving kids around the world, all animate and inanimate matter, be as selfish as you want. You are creating a framework out of spirituality. The goal of the work is not to put in a frame, but to burst through any frame. Creating a framed work is contra-productive to the aim.
  18. Just speak your truth. If you want some feedback, feel free to share your interview here.
  19. Thanks for sharing her perspective.
  20. @Shodburrito I watched the video below while going through this forum post, so I will try to explain the difference between your perspective and Leo's perspective through the video. Please watch the video first. The person on the right is Harry Mack. A freestyle rapper who has spent more than 20 years working on this talent in solitude while creating music. The effort he has spent honing his lyricism in solitude is incomprehensible. The people on the left are athletes wasting time trying to talk to strangers online. @Shodburrito Now ask yourself, why are the guys on the left applauding Harry Mack? Because he demonstrated a capability that none of them has, namely to create a song on the spot from a few random words. Do you think this is a skill Harry would have developed if he was one of the athletes and socializing like them? No, very unlikely. There are benefits to solitude, especially if you are the one who wants to stand out from the crowd with your talents. There are benefits and costs to solitude, and there are benefits and costs to socializing. You have to weigh these benefits and costs and decide what is best for you. If you want to socialize, do it, but realize there are costs to it. If you want to be alone, do it, but realize there is also a cost to it. The beauty of this ordeal is that Harry needed words from the guys on the left so that he can impress them. If nobody saw his talent and he was only singing in his basement, there would be nobody that could be impressed by his talent. And the athletes needed Harry Mack to pull them out of their boredom for 5 minutes. So beautiful.
  21. Leo is not our leader. Trump is. And he is a clown. @NoSelfSelf Hope you resolve the anger issue. You were just a moderator on a fringe forum on the internet. Relax.
