Because you are assuming it’s biased on irrational culture war issues. It isn’t, many people predicted something like this happening for years based on clear societal trends and government policies many of which were avoidable.

That’s the thing, they keep changing it. First they said they killed 14K, then 13K, then later 9K. The most recent claim is the one I linked.

This is what I see from that article The article I posted https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/2024-07-16/ty-article/.premium/idf-killed-half-of-hamas-military-leadership-14-000-operatives-killed-or-wounded/00000190-bc9c-db47-abb0-befd45310000 says this

I thought the same because Biden was an incumbent. But Cenk Uyghur was right, incumbency is almost a disadvantage today.
-
No, they said the amount of women and children was less but the total amount was unchanged https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/un-says-gaza-death-toll-still-over-35000-not-all-bodies-identified-2024-05-13/

38K is the combination of killed Hamas and killed civilians the 14K is hamas fighters killed or injured, this is the idf’s most recent announcement you can see in the article I linked, it doesn’t say how many are killed vs injured within the 14K so we also include the total injured 89K so it’s 14K to (38K + 89K - 14K)
-
-
The 14K number of Hamas was the claimed about killed or injured You would need to compare it to the civilians killed or injured, not just killed
-
That isn’t the ratio because you’re comparing the claimed amount of Hamas killed and injured to total Gazans killed
-
The most recent claim by the IDF is 14,000 Hamas have been killed or wounded https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/2024-07-16/ty-article/.premium/idf-killed-half-of-hamas-military-leadership-14-000-operatives-killed-or-wounded/00000190-bc9c-db47-abb0-befd45310000 The Gaza health ministry most recent report is 38,794 people have been killed and 89,364 wounded that’s a ratio of 1 to 9

This US veteran said his analysis is Israel is doing less to avoid harming civilians than US operations

Include an emoji, some people on the forum can take it seriously if it isn’t clearly a joke.

Jamaal Bowman got 10x the support on social media then his primary opponent but still lost by a good chunk of votes. Social media isn’t a accurate representation.

This is horrible advice, every woman will be weirded out by you hiding your face
-
Those numbers are useless, it highly depends on where, who, and how you approach.

I literally posted a video taken from a reporter in Gaza and a article from a humans rights group. You aren’t disproving anything I post, you just posted irrelevant articles about fake content. Yes some content is fake, that doesn’t mean what I post is. Last time you accused me of BS it was over a passage from one of the most famous Israeli historians book. in developing events there is fake information, but that doesn’t mean I’m lying if I post it, if it’s fake point it out to me. You said you are ok with CNN and NYT as sources so what about this? https://www.cnn.com/2024/05/10/middleeast/israel-sde-teiman-detention-whistleblowers-intl-cmd/index.html https://www.nytimes.com/2024/06/06/world/middleeast/israel-gaza-detention-base.html

Interesting: former US military and former CIA discuss the assassination
-
they can still get small donations and the government can provide some funding the issue is currently very wealthy can dump millions which gives their choices a unfair advantage
-
It’s from here https://euromedmonitor.org/en/article/6322/Gaza:-Israeli-army-storms-UNRWA-schools-and-kills-more-civilians-in-Jabalia maybe there is more to it, it’s all a developing story. But I wouldn’t be surprised as there have been many reports of Israel using torture

There are many simple ways to do this that most Americans support - ban money from politics - automatic funding, ballot access and debate access for third parties - open primaries - rank choice voting The problem is the politicians in charge are incentivized to block these, leaving Americans in a catch 22 of change, they want to change the system, but they need the system to change itself, and the system doesn’t want to
