  1. Interesting stage green, stage blue/orange clash is going on. The justice system is rushing ahead the execution of 5 people and stage green people are demanding Trump grant them clemency but there is no sign of it. You can look up their names on twitter to see the value clashes. The pattern is usually a stage green person saying the execution is unjust and motivated by racism(for the males)/misogyny(for the female), and stage blue/orange people replying that it was just because of the crimes. Some examples: Details on 3 of the people and their alleged crime. (warning: extremely disturbing): https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/executions-scheduled-inmates-convicted-brutal-murders-many-years-ago
  2. This is a police brutality debate between Daryl Davis and Dr. Michael Woods Jr. Daryl Davis is a musician who got hundreds of white supremacist's to leave their organizations and renounce racism. Dr. Michael Woods is a retired Baltimore police officer.
  3. Well according to this survey men had an average of 7 one night stands, and women had an average of 6 one night stands. So not that different. And if anything I would assume men inflate their numbers and women shrink them. https://www.refinery29.com/en-us/2017/06/157756/one-night-stand-casual-sex-facts
  4. I don't think you'll like him anymore, he seems to have changed his views a lot recently.
  5. plenty of women are having casual encounters now though, especially on something like tinder.
  6. Example of how radical open-mindedness can make you more effective at changing the world.
  7. IFS therapy has helped a lot. Basically the idea is that confidence issues, sexual shame, or things like anxiety are because you have buried childhood trauma's in which you trained yourself to hide that aspect of yourself, and they help you to unwire it by going back and remembering it and 'forgiving' yourself. It definitely works for me, I think the old method of getting over approach anxiety by systematic desensitization is too oldschool, because if you take a break you will just regrow all your anxieties again, even rsd people accept this now. David Tian has a series called practical psychology on youtube which explains it a bit in this context. He is actually anti pickup though however he's useful. I've also heard good things about psychoanalysis. I've been more skeptical of traditional psychotherapy lately.

  9. In my opinion you seem to be buying the marketing hype. America and New York aren't as magical as you seem to believe. In fact New York is having a lot of problems recently, https://nypost.com/2020/08/17/nyc-is-dead-forever-heres-why-james-altucher/
  10. That wasn't my intent, I was just trying to encourage open-mindedness. I am sorry about your personal problems, I know you can't afford therapy but maybe consider saving up for it or seeing if you can get a payment plan. From what I know IFS therapy is almost designed specifically to deal with issues like patterns of being attracted to or repelled by certain things and unwiring them.
