  1. It’s amazing how fast some of you guys are assuming you already understand alien intelligence.
  2. I have many more questions, but I think I’ll leave it there for now. Wait for the course. Encouraging, thank you. Assuming you are correct about all this, I actually find this exciting. It means our collective understanding of God and spirituality is continuing to evolve. It’s not just a static, timeless Truth that humans have completely understood 5,000 years ago. This would be the cutting edge.
  3. Great. But intended for me or not, you are still downplaying what Alien Consciousness could potentially mean.
  4. You’re not saying it’s not worth it. And that’s good. But you are in subtle ways downplaying the value of such an insight. My prediction is that if you actually experienced Alien Consciousness, your fucking head would explode. And you’d never be able to say that such a thing was just a “fascinating show” or just “another form”. It would change your entire life AND your entire understanding of spirituality. Why are you assuming that I haven’t done that already? Or that I’m not happy already? I’m legitimately one of the happiest people I know. My life is amazing. I almost feel guilty at times for how good it is. Yes, seeking comes with a certain amount of “incompleteness”. This is not a mistake. I enjoy seeking. Do not denigrate the seeking impulse. That is a monster trap. The best possible option is actually that our understanding of God and spirituality is continuing to evolve. This is more exciting. This is cutting edge.
  5. How does this relate to Omniscience? You distinguish Omniscience from Alien Consciousness. Yet it seems like you hold them both as the pinnacle of awakening. It would seem to follow that even mega doses of psychedelics may not be enough to comprehend reality at the level. We may just be limited by our own brains. Although you were able to do it for a short time, so it’s at least possible.
  6. You don’t know that. You don’t know what Leo means by Alien Consciousness. And neither do I. But I don’t think Leo is making such an obvious error. Alternatively, if it just “more form”, then it’s clear he thinks it’s a highly relevant form. And maybe there’s good reason for that. My point is we just don’t know. Let’s have a little bit of faith in Leo. He obviously feels it is important.
  7. Actually I think the idea fails. Where did the alien come from? At some point, the answer has to be pure Infinity. Fair enough. I don’t think at this point we are supposed to understand Alien Consciousness or understand why Leo thinks it matters. Obviously that would come with more experience. My point is simply that I’m open to it. If Leo thinks it matters, then I trust his opinion on this at least enough to investigate. I think he has earned that. If he is wrong, then that should also become clear.
  8. That’s true. But I’m pretty sure a marble being played with by a physical alien is not literally what Leo is referring to. Men In Black is obviously a movie. It’s not going to be equivalent to whatever Leo is talking about. You can argue that Alien Consciousness must be irrelevant because it must be preceded by Presence, but I don’t think Leo is overlooking this point. I’m going to give him more credit than that. That would be a very newbie mistake to make.
  9. Who is defining what is and isn’t a hallucination? And how do you know your definition is valid? What if there is no meaningful distinction? If by alien supermind you are referring to Leo’s latest insights about Alien Consciousness, I would say we have no idea yet what Leo even means by this. He has said very little about it, and the little he has said, it seems clear he thinks it’s very important. This is probably true. Possibly there is another path, but it’s hard to say.
  10. I can’t say I’ve verified some of the things Leo talks about these days. But I think there is a realistic chance he has discovered something new about spirituality and has gone beyond at least a lot of other teachers. I’m willing to gamble on that.
  11. Delusional rationalizations. If you’re a woman and you meet a guy who says things like that, just delete him from your life. Granted, if you want to do some sort of consensual polyamory, that could be a valid couple choice. But that’s a much different strategy requiring arguably more maturity and honest communication to make sustainable.
  12. I interpret it as a statement of surrender. Surrender of the egoic agenda and opening up to an acceptance of all things. It’s necessary to look beyond the technical words people are using and get to the essence. Interpreting people’s words too literally is a trap. Get to the feeling.
  13. @Kingston Congrats! Awesome report
  14. Hi, welcome to the forum. From a certain perspective there definitely are similarities between us and “the herd”. I think it’s important to not get too much of an ego about that. We have struggles. We procrastinate. We are self-decieved. We avoid the work. At the same time, there is a fundamental commitment here to something higher. Towards truth and being non-ideological. Towards self-honesty and understanding. Towards the greatest potential of your life. Make no mistake, there are people here doing the work and getting the results. People who are highly intelligent. You can have conversations here you can’t have in a lot of other places.
  15. Eight years ago since I started following your work. Thank you
  16. Excellent interconnected, sprawling talk by a channeled entity named Bashar. Topics include everything from the nature of consciousness and advanced alien technology to life purpose and shifting beliefs:
  17. @Mada_ what does her actual diet look like? Beliefs about food aside. What does she actually regularly eat? A lot of women I’ve dated have had challenges with eating healthy and / or body image issues. And they were unhappy with it and wanted something different, but never made a change. Your girlfriend may be the same. So I’d support her where you can, but otherwise let it go. This can be really challenging for women, who have a lot of extra societal pressure on their physical appearance.
  18. Some amount of caution here is certainly warranted. We are only debating over the degree. 18 seems reasonable. We don’t even let kids get tattoos in the US until they are 18. And being cleared by a mental health professional also seems like a good idea. She may be a bit idealistic, but I think Marianne is striking a decent balance so far. Finding some perfect balance is extremely challenging. At some point, good enough is good enough. I wouldn’t say I made this thread with the sole intention of focusing on Marianne’s chances of winning. Conversation is meant to flow and change. There is some wisdom in letting it go where it needs to go.
  19. I like her progressive vision and passion. She also is steeped in non-duality via ACIM, which is an interesting shift. My main concern is with her lack of political experience. It also doesn’t seem realistic to believe she will actually win the nomination over Biden, assuming he runs.
  20. I think most people have said what they wanted to say already in terms of Marianne's chances of winning. We made our claims, now it's time to watch and see what happens. Here is what her website says about her stance in terms of LGBTQ+: https://marianne2024.com/issues/lgbtqia-plus-rights/ Her stance clearly favors the progressive POV. Which generally I also approve of, simply because I think the harm of most conservative policies outweigh the harm of most progressive policies on this issue. Ideally we could address the concerns on all sides. Regardless, it's extremely naive to think this territory will navigated without many problems occurring, no matter what choice you make. That is simply not how politics works. The way politics works is that even when you make the BEST decision, a whole bunch of fucked up things still happen. And then we spend the next couple decades fixing all those things, and the cycle repeats over and over. Also, I do not seriously see Desantis' policies on LGBTQ as a slippery slope into fascism. Leo is correct on this point, and I think framing Desantis this way likely does more harm than good. Which is not to say I support any of Desantis positions.
  21. I don’t think Trump is going to be president again regardless of whether he goes to prison. His strategy is not sustainable.
  22. Of course. Without the illusion of time, you couldn’t have the illusion of your life. That deliberately isn’t going to be easy for anyone to understand.
  23. The establishment has not lied any more times than anyone else around you that you know.
  24. Hate to say it, but I don’t think that’s the lesson Republicans are going to be taking from the midterms. DeSantis had the biggest night of any Republican and leaned into the culture war like no one else. He won essentially because of that, not inspite of it. What seemed to hurt republicans in the midterms was claims of 2020 election fraud. Election deniers almost universally did poorly. So I expect the Right to continue leaning into the culture war as hard as ever. I think it’s a bit of a false dichotomy when people say there are the “real issues” and then there is the culture war. In reality, the culture war is the “real issue” for the average person. Because culture is about identity.
