  1. Nothing says escaping group-think like subscribing to the conservative echo chamber.
  2. Tony Robbins does like every biohack, just read his book Lifeforce. Anything he talks about related to health and wellness really needs to be questioned. He is not properly vetting this stuff at all from a public health POV. You could easily waste a ton of money or worse.
  3. No, of course not. They are secular materialists deeply bought into their progressive, liberal political ideology. Any introduction of Wilber will either be dismissed or twisted to be assimilated into their Green worldview. Neither of those involve actually understanding Wilber. Just like Bill. It's not impossible they could get there eventually, but it would take a lot. Okay, but then I'm not sure why you're confused about my position on Bill Clinton. Bill is talking about something he doesn't really understand. That's been exactly my whole point.
  4. I don't know who that is or what their position is. I only know Sam and Emma. I think Bill is likely using Wilber to reinforce his liberal, Green worldview. He paints Wilber's work as being about "overcoming differences". This is watered down to the max. I think he does not understand that the whole point of Wilber's work is to lead you to God. Or even what that means. No. People have very different levels of consciousness / development. And their thinking can vary by orders of magnitude. One of the powerful things about Integral Theory is to see this. You see some of the spectrum of thinking that is available, which prevents excessive homogenization. It's certainly possible to develop a kind of self-development arrogance. But it's not correct to then make the move to assuming everyone's thinking is essentially the same. I would separate this.
  5. Meditation was never BS. It just has limits as a tool, and many people want to perpetually deny those limits because they believe in it so much.
  6. @Daniel Balan great work! Studying the spiral in depth is absolutely crucial.
  7. Your best option is to consistently read my posts over time. Then come to your own conclusion. Are you being deliberately dense? You know this work is about far more than reading. "Integral daily activities" would essentially be all the development work we talk about here. I'm not interested in discussing my occupation at this time. Maybe eventually. Occupation is certainly not the full picture and could be misleading. But also, different occupations require different levels of consciousness and development. So occupation is a factor to consider. Why does any spiritual teacher have people who worship them but can't understand them? I don't know for sure what's the deal with Bill. But given that speech he made in the video, it certainly seems like his understanding of Wilber is pretty superficial. You could argue he's playing 4D Integral chess and watering down his understanding to make it more palatable for the crowd. But I think the more likely case is he's just an average politician. What you see is what you get. I'm open to changing my mind about this.
  8. I have a good understanding of the more essential bits, yes.
  9. Talking about solipsism with others is so bizarre and mindfuck inducing. More like telling yourself that you’re a projection of your own mind
  10. More Thich Nhat Hanh goodness: High: non-dual awareness, non-attachment
  11. Doesn't mean much. I doubt Clinton really understood Wilber. It mostly seems like he just used it to reinforce his liberal POV.
  12. High: expanded sense of self, non-violence, emphasis on direct experience Go touch grass.
  13. Low: ego-centric view of God
  14. Even if you don't agree with trans issues, you have to admit to the epistemic pervertry here. Just shameless misrepresentation of facts:
  15. Older news but a good recap on the first weeks:
  16. "Mafia Don" taking on a whole new meaning.
  17. Part of the Trump team: This mega-thread needs more love!
  18. @Holymoly have a conversation with GPT or another AI. They can break it down effectively and also answer any questions you have.
  19. Oh god. Anyone want to fill us in on the comment section cringe? I don’t want to make an X account.
  20. Enlightenment would probably be overkill. You don’t need enlightenment to find more meaning in your life.
  21. In case you missed it, the New York Times reported a list of words that are being flagged by White House officials. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2025/03/07/us/trump-federal-agencies-websites-words-dei.html What's fascinating about this from a developmental psychology POV is how blatantly anti-SD Green it is. It could not be more obvious. It's also completely predictable if you understand spiral dynamics. Don't be fooled by right-wing populists, MAGA new agers or horseshoe theory victims. Don't even be fooled by people who verbally espouse progressive values. Trump and his administration are NOT interested in SD Green. They do NOT value equality, helping the little guy, cultural diversity, bias, ecology or anything else the way you might if you are SD Green. Yet I saw many people make that mistake this election, thinking that Trump and his administration would actually be the ones upholding SD Green values. To be a true progressive, you have to value progressivism at a developmental level. Which you cannot fake in the long-run. Strip away all the rhetoric and BS, and the Trump administration is essentially just a SD Blue-Orange backlash. This list is more evidence of that. Here is the list:
