  1. In order to create the illusion of life. Without the appearance of 'eyes' you wouldn't buy into the illusion of perception. The more illsuions you dissolve, the more you dissolve the illusion of life, till mahasamadhi happens. If you want to enjoy life, you need illusions. There won't be a 3D world left. Not even the illsuion of it. No one returns to God.
  2. No. From the absolute perspective, there is no future. Death is a concept and doesn't exist. From the relative perspective, the illusion will continue after death. Probably in some astral realms and or reincarnation. Death will be like falling asleep and then waking again. The illusion only stops with mahasamadhi.
  3. The vast majority of deep sleep happens during the first half of the night, and the vast majority of dreams happen during the second half. So, just sleep the first half normal, and the second half inclined.
  4. Awakening doesn't necessarily increase your wellbeing. It can increase your wellbeing, but only with enough surrender. If you don't pursue Truth for Truth's sake, you won't be able to surrender to it, because every other reason you might have for pursuing awakening will be completely shattered (depending on the depth of your awakening).
  5. yes, just do it for as long as you want. No "have to". Wait for as long as you want.
  6. @mmKay Good plan ? As far as I know, truffles are very similiar to shrooms. But if growing shrooms is legal in Spain, I would just rent a place in Spain. Rather than moving all the way to the Netherlands and rent a place there.
  7. @Forestluv I see ? I misinterpreted your first post.
  8. @Philipp There is no future, and no past. This is your very first breath. And your very last breath at the same time.
  9. @Gesundheit So you think. ? Thats how you create the illusion of life. @Forestluv Really? "No timeline" exists as actuality. "A timeline" only exists as a concept.
  10. Unconsciousness doesn't exist. Because Consciousness is Self-Conscious. But from the ego's POV, it seems like unconsciousness exists. 'Unconsciousness' is full ego death, 100% Godhead. It isn't actual unconsciousness, because You, God, are fully Conscious. But without ego. So, if the ego later 'returns', it seems like there was nothing, because there was no ego. Therefore I don't think 100% Godhead can be experienced or known. It can only be be-ed by God, with full Consciousness. But never known by something finite. The finite can't experience the Infinite. Only the Infinite can 'experience' the Infinite.
  11. Listening to this one, I feel an almost immediate effect: For me, binaural beats are definitely stronger than L-Theanine.
  12. @knakoo If you have good experiences with binaural beats while tripping, give this a try as well: I think it works similiar to binaural beats, but it seems to be a lot stronger.
  13. You gotta try doing some shamanic breathing or wim hof breathing before or during it !!!??
  14. You are right! I just tried it and the visuals are crazy. I wasn't expecting that. Other than that, it was blissful and I experienced a noticable increase of non-dualness. Comparable to mild tripping. I will keep using it. Thanks for the post! Guys, give it a try!!
  15. @James123 Peace, and thanks for the responses?
  16. That doesn't make any sense How can I realize what I am without consciousness? Sure, everything needs to be forgotten, but consciousness remains. Otherwise it would never be 'known' that the ultimate Nature was found.
  17. How can "what you are" be 'known/experienced' without consciousness? If there is no consciousness involved it couldn't be 'known' in any way. And you couldn't be sure that 'you' 'found' the ultimate Nature. How is consciousness a thought? In 'my experience' thoughts happen within consciousness. And recognition of consciousness can 'occur' without thoughts. What makes you think that sleep is possible? I'm not making the point of saying that sleep and what happened 5 minutes ago is imagination in the now. I'm proposing, that from the relative perspective, what happened 5 minutes ago is one "experience" or "now moment" within Infinity, whereas sleep is not possible, never happens, is not part of what can 'exist'. To 'know' that you are/be it, requires consciousness.
  18. When I meditate without thoughts, there still is consciousness. But you said as long as there is consciousness, it is not it. So how can it be it during meditation? Or are 'your' meditations so deep that no memories are formed. Can your meditations be recalled? Also, in what way is meditation different from psychedelics? It is surely possible to have no thoughts while tripping.
  19. @James123 Would you say that the true Nature, Nothing, is Self Conscious? Or is any kind of self consciousness ego? For example, the experiences of the Void which @Breakingthewall had (and 'you' too I think), was that the ultimate Nothing? If the ultimate Nothing is Unconsciousness, and has no Self Consciousness, then no memories of it can exist. Basically every experience of it, is not it, because that which enables to have the experience, to be conscious of it, is ego? That would mean the true Nature could never be 'experienced' no matter the psychedelic dose. It could only be be-ed without ego, which means no memories of it are formed, which means the ego can't recall anything, exactly like with sleep or before birth. The argument against that would be that Nothing = Consciousness. And that non-existence or unconsciousness doesn't exist. Only Consciousness. And Consciousness is Self Conscious. And sleep or before birth is not possible. What do you guys think?:)
  20. Very unlikely that you will get deep non-dual states from daily activity meditations alone. Once you have had many nondual experiences during formal meditation, you can try to get there during daily activities well.
